🏕Our Camp is situated on about 5 acres of Dense Enormous Evergreen Forest in the Olympic temperate rain forest region. It is next to the road on Highway 101 but still offers our guests the wilderness experience and Semi-Privacy. We recommend that our guests use GPS to find Forks, WA, First. Once you find Forks, you will be able to find our camp.
Helpful Hints: If you are traveling from the South side of town: We are only a Half Mile from the Northbound Edge of town on the Right. If you are traveling from the North side: Watch for milepost number 193, you are very close. Our camp will be on the left.

We require guests to arrive at our camp with an empty black waste water holding tank. Some Rest Areas along the I-5 freeway have free dump stations. There is 1 at Camp David Jr. We encourage travelers to Google for more options.
🚻There are 7 restroom pods that stay open for our guests to use 24/7. Hot Showers: $5.00 per guest, located in 3 of the restrooms directly behind our camp main office. Cleaned daily

We have many exciting changes for our guests this year! Along with the geodesic dome, RV sites, wood-fires sauna, store, and cafe added last season, this year we will have 3 stargazer tents! Brand new tents at sites 1, 2, and 6- all Stargazers. Spend the night looking at the stars from the comfort of your own bed.

Waterfall Sanctuary is a hidden gem on 17 acres, bordered on two sides by the Gifford Pinchot N F. In the heart of the Columbia River Gorge just outside Carson, Washington. It's home to a mini-farm with goats, ducks, & chickens. Deer & elk walk through the property on a fairly regular basis depending on the season, it's less than a mile walk (or short drive) to the Wind River with a swimming hole, & a short distance further to the Pacific Crest Trail.
A 20-minute drive & you're at the Columbia River. An hour to the West is Portland if you are in the mood for some city life, & 35 minutes east is Hood River, a gorgeous old town with tons of charm. The closest town, Stevenson, Washington is home to shops, local restaurants, & access to the Columbia River.
Also in close proximity are amazing waterfalls, trails, & National Forest roads that are close by & well maintained. No matter the season there is something to do a short distance from the property.
Keep in mind that the property is very rugged except for the trails we have provided to access other parts of the property. We are as off grid & sustainable as possible- while no electricity or running water is available at the individual sites, we provide battery or solar operated lighting, a container of water for each site.

Camp Keyser is a wooded 5 acre parcel in the mountains, near mountain loop highway - in the center of everything wonderful in the northern cascade mountains. We have one private cabin and 6 campsites.
Tent campers will enjoy the lush landscape of a mature forest with sites along the (seasonal) Thirsty Creek.
Nearby (3 minute walk), users can contemplate views of Whitehorse Mountain, Jumbo Mountain, Glacier Peak, and Whitechuck Mountain.
This part of the Stillaguamish valley and the adjacent Mountain Loop Highway is known for a great selection of hiking trails, at all skill levels. It is perfect hub for all of your outdoor interests. The trailhead for the summit of Whitehorse Mountain is just a mile away, as is
Old Mine Road trail (45 minute hike ending in 2 waterfalls).
A 15-20 minute walk takes campers to a swimming hole in the cool Stillaguamish river for a dip or a paddle.
Even closer is Whitehorse Regional Trail (great for biking, walking and horseback riding) built on the bed of the former BNSF railroad through the North Stillaguamish River Valley, spanning over 27 miles. The nearly level trail meanders through the valley, rewarding visitors with picturesque, landscape views of forests, farmland, streams and rivers, and mountain vistas.
Sites have a generous fire pit and access to a Porta-Potty. For bathing I recommend cool dip in the Stillaguamish River.
In season there is also fishing, snowshoeing, concerts at the blue grass festival grounds, a rodeo, and so much more.

The lands include a number of geographic features including the Kettle River, upper reach of the Columbia River and the Selkirk mountain range, which is considered to be at the foothills of the Rockies.

This information is based on stories from some old timers my husband had
spoken to in the past when he bought this property in 2002. The owner back in the old days sold off parcels and parcels of lands back then.
The property is all fenced in, a place where your fur buddy can run free so you don't have to worry of the baby getting lost!
Hopefully you'll get a visit from a deer and hear the hooting of the owl. :)
The surroundings are peaceful and private, you will enjoy exploring the trails all around the 9 acres out of 12 we are sharing.
Stroll down the hill to listen to the sounds of the creek and fish ladder.
Booking the cabins.. fyi.. they're off grid - NO electricity, you Bring your Water, but I provide some lanterns for lighting.
Our campground cabins are about 4.9 miles from the 'Granite Falls Fish Ladder'. Visit this beauty at Mountain Loop Highway if you fancy a little hike.
Drive around 7 miles to the 'Lime Kiln Trailhead. The trail is full of amazing views and history.
Our place is only about 45 minutes from Seattle. Why not pack your tent and sleeping bags then drive here after work, then leave in the morning.

Site 1: 'The Camper's Site'
The ‘RV/Camper Van and Tent Site’ is located to the left as you pull into the property. Park, situate and make yourselves at home near your above ground fire pit and picnic table overlooking that gorgeous river. Set up your scene and enjoy.
Site 2: 'The Little Rustic Red Cabin'
The ‘Little Rustic Red Cabin’ site offers an in-ground heart shaped fire pit as well as a picnic table for outdoor dining. Inside the 358 sq ft cabin is a wood stove that heats the place up nicely. The cabin sleeps 4, offering one Queen size bed and one queen futon in the living room that faces a smart t.v. utilizing Starlink Internet. The kitchen offers all of your kitchen needs(minus running water from the faucet).
Also, in the cabin you’ll find a smart speaker to hook up to, two African style djembe drums, a ukulele and an Australian didgeridoo. Let your musical side come on out!
Note:
There is no running water on site or septic system. Bring your own drinking water or filter from the river. Water is available in town as well. A porta potty is centered between the camping site and the cabin site.
Generously portioned bundles of firewood including kindling are for purchase located under the cute A-frame structure near outhouse.
Bring your food, water, camp chairs, bug spray, swimsuits, water toys and all your essentials for having a lovely camping and outdoor experience in one of the most beautiful areas of Washington State.
Enjoy the lovely walking trails on the back 3 acres of the property. Please take your trash and recycle and clean up after your doggies. Secure your food items so as to not attract wildlife or bears. Be safe in the river. Have fun!

What to Know Before You Book
The cabin sleeps 3 adults comfortably and has basic amenities inside: bed and futon with bedding, chairs and table, games and a small library. The outdoor kitchen includes two picnic tables, a gas and charcoal grill with burner, basic cooking equipment, and dishes for 8. Propane and wood fire pits are included.
Camping at Hidden Pillar is a primitive, off-grid experience:
- No electricity; no running water
- Bring all water or purification system; pack out all trash
- Gravel roads are steep and rutted—high-clearance vehicle recommended for cabin and Creekside access
Hidden Pillar Retreat provides easy access to Southwest Washington Coast beaches, historic river towns (Skamokawa, Cathlamet, Astoria), Julia Butler Hansen Wildlife Refuge, and excellent boating/kayaking.

Grace's property was gorgeous and Grace herself was helpful and welcoming. You can really tell how much effort and thought was put into this hip camp. The property was fully fenced, the roads and trails were easy to navigate, each cabin seemed incredibly private and professionally done. We were in cabin 3 on a cold and rainy night and appreciated the fireplace inside and the covered deck that still allowed us to eat outside and enjoy the ambience. We would definitely stay again.

We loved the peaceful and relaxing setting of the cabin site. The cabin was very sweet and comfortable. We enjoyed cooking the salmon we purchased, by the campfire. The outdoor table with canopy was great for shade as well as setting up our camp stove. The trails through the forest and fields were well kept, and much enjoyed. The whole property appears to be maintained with much love and care.

We had an amazing stay at Marvin’s property and I truly cannot recommend it enough. Marvin was incredibly kind, generous, and welcoming from start to finish. The property itself was absolutely beautiful and offered everything we needed and more. There was plenty of space for our group of six, our dog, and our RV, and the access to the river was fantastic.
Before arriving, we misunderstood part of the listing and didn’t realize the property owner could sometimes be on-site. That was completely our mistake, not Marvin’s fault in any way. When we arrived and realized the misunderstanding, we planned to pack up and leave with no hard feelings at all. However, Marvin went far above and beyond anything we would have expected — he graciously offered to stay at his other home so we could feel completely comfortable during our stay. That level of kindness and generosity is so rare, and we were incredibly grateful.
Because of his hospitality, we stayed and ended up having the most wonderful time. Marvin truly cares about his guests and goes out of his way to make sure everyone has a great experience. The property is peaceful, beautiful, dog-friendly, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. I would absolutely recommend this spot to any of my friends and would happily stay here again.

This has become the go to spot for me and my family when we want to get away, relax, and enjoy a beautiful campsite in peace. Our two cats are able to safely roam around and absolutely love hunting for mice and other little critters while we’re there.
Dave has always been a great host and is quick to help with anything that comes up during our stay. One of our favorite parts is walking the many hiking trails throughout the wilderness of Valhalla Tree Farm. Every time we come back, it feels like the property has grown even more, with new paths and improvements continuing to take shape.

Amazing cabin with incredible views! My kids and I absolutely loved our stay. It was much bigger than it looked in the photos and had everything I was hoping for — peaceful nature, quality time to reconnect, and private creek access that was perfect for a cold dip. It completely exceeded my expectations. The host was so kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. Truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My kids are already asking when we can come back! 10/10!

I love the site , middle of the tree far enough from other campers and the service was amazing we had a cabin and a tent, already installed when we arrived, made camping so much easier, as I came alone with 4 kiddos. Teens in the tents and youngers with me in the cabin. The cover barbecue area was great, not to find everything wet in the morning. Fire pit area is cute . The site is well maintained, cabin super clean and warm thanks to a gas heater, cabin well maintained carbon monoxide detector . I ordered in advance the wood, but didn’t have enough in the morning, I texted at 8am and got wood delivered within 10min amazing! Dog could run free , kids could make noise. Definitely will come back.

The camping spot is set in a picture perfect PNW forest on fully fenced private land. This is glamping at its finest with a very clean mini cabin (excellently insulated + propane heater) and outhouse. Spot came with a huge grill, propane, fire pit, and all the beauty of nature. Hostess was delightful and responsive. She let us know when other campers were arriving or leaving and if they were dog friendly since we had brought our teenage large breed up with us. Excellent communication through the app. Will recommend this place to friends and family. Very high chance we will book again. This is also a SniffSpot for those who wish to bring their pup for a morning or afternoon of fun!

Weekend Trip to Index Riverside Camp
The Little Red Cabin was exactly the kind of getaway we were hoping for. Yes rustic, but honestly, that’s part of what makes it so special. Sitting around the fire pit, hearing the river nearby, cooking outside, and unplugging for a couple days felt like a real reset.
The setting is beautiful. Index already feels tucked away in the mountains, but this cabin sits right near the river where you can stand on the bank and look directly down at the water rushing by. The smooth river rocks, dense forest, mountain views, and nearby trails make it feel peaceful and far removed from everyday life.
Everything was thoughtfully set up. Plenty of firewood, a nice patio and picnic area, grill, coffee for the coffee maker, pots, pans, silverware, and other basics that made the stay easy and comfortable while still keeping the cabin’s rustic charm. Nice bed too!
One of my favorite parts was watching my girls explore — running down to the river, climbing around the rocks, walking the forest trails, and sitting around the fire at night under the lights. It felt safe, simple, and very connected to nature.
Sure, there are fancier places to stay. But for the experience, atmosphere, and setting, this place was a real treat. By the way, their campsite looked really nice as well — same great location. Wonderful host to communicate with – – you can’t go wrong.

Quiet, wooded, clean, and nicely kept up. Easy access from highway and nearby the small community of Forks.
The on-site store was never open. There is signage on how to reach the owner/s, but I never saw them. Initially took a bit to reach them and get the key, but this is something they're going to rectify in future instructions.

Weekend Trip to The Village at Rainier
Super cute little cabin! Just as described, it’s perfect for a solo traveler or a couple. Plenty of amenities were provided. Theres a toaster oven in the room and a portable single stove. Dishes, bowls, cups and cooking utensils are all in the room. You’ll have to bring your own towel though. Firewood was also sold on property. Really close to the Longmire entrance of Mt rainier national park.

Despite the rain our 3 day camping weekend was outstanding at The Rusty Tree Farm. Her hospitality and friendliness are over the top. She went out of her way to make the additional experiences for our grandkids, personal and meaningful (Hang with the Hens and Pony Time).
The land is well groomed, and she is an outstanding steward.
The additional shelters and outhouse are incomparable to anything we have ever experienced.
We will definitely be back to stay.

Amazing campground and host! The Backcountry Cabin was perfect for my needs, comfortable and spotless. Hot showers are available. The grounds are clean and well-maintained. The location is convenient to Forks and the surrounding areas of Olympic National Park. John, the host, was friendly and responsive. I'll definitely be back!

1 night at Olympic Adventure Campground
This was a great stay en route to the Hoh rainforest and the Olympic beaches- I was hesitant to reserve the Chinook cabin at first because the reviews described it as an overpriced shed, but it was anything but...It's a proper cabin with extremely efficient heating, windows,excellent lighting, plugs for my charger, even a microwave! And two new air mattresses had just that day been placed, super comfy😊 Safe and sturdy and walking distance to the clean bathrooms, I was pleasantly surprised...I've stayed in more expensive tiny cabins with less offered so I'd call this a win- I'd definitely stay again...
~ the town of Forks with food and services is literally right down the street...
