With our unique location nestled in the foothills of Stewart Mt and the peaceful Squalicum Valley, Rusty Ranch offers 110 acres and easy access to much of our local recreation options and is only 10 min east of Bellingham. Our camp area is spacious and can can easily accomidate your family and even a couple of friends. Scattered trees offer shade, the large grassy areas provide ample space to roam. Hike the several miles of nature trails on the hillside and explore our 65 acres of certified forest. Placards on the nature trail are part of our self-guided tour and provide information about forestry and the plants and animals that call this their home. You may also request a guided informational tour for your group. Wander through the old growth groves, walk the 50' boardwalk and see the magical Fern Ridge. There are abundant wildflowers and seasonal berries to pick, as well as a variety of fall apples and pears in the old orchard available for self harvest. You can even purchase a tree to take home and plant. We also offer a roadside farm stand with fresh seasonal fruits and veggies as well as farm fresh eggs. We are normally closed Monday through Wednesday except holidays. Sites may be made available by special request. We hope you will come and stay with us for your next adventure.

Secluded Olympic Cabin ☜(ﾟヮﾟ☜)

Incredible location! This sweet cabin is nestled at the base of Mt. Jupiter, directly between Dosewallips beach and the Olympic national Park. There's lots of gorgeous, mossy maples, shaggy cedars, and elk herds roaming free. The Cabin is easily accessible from the road, and has parking available. There's a secluded fire pit behind the cabin with a seasonal stream running by. Its a relaxing place to hang out for a few days, and/or excellent basecamp to explore the amazing forests, mountains, and beaches nearby. Also, there's lots of great foraging to be done (nettles, mushrooms, and oysters; oh my!) GPS LOCATION: When driving to the cabin, your GPS will tell you that 'your destination is on the left'. This is a lie. The cabin will be on the right. There is a metal gate that is closed with a chain but not locked. CABIN LAYOUT AND SLEEPING AMENITIES: The Cabin is just a little guy; only 16'x20'. There is a kitchen, living room, and dining room area, and the bathroom is a separate room - we call it our 'studio cabin'. We have a fold out couch for which we provide linens, pillows, and a comforter. There is also an inflatable mattress that is a tight squeeze, but can allow for four people to sleep (with a little furniture rearranging). There is a deck that is large enough for a two person tent that would also make a four person camp-out comfortable. All linens and towels are stored in the trunk and the bathroom cabinet. There is a 4' round dining room table with four chairs and a small table on the porch with two more chairs. All the cushions for the chairs are in a cabinet under the table inside. ACCESSIBILITY: Unfortunately, the cabin is not wheelchair accessible. There are 5 stairs up to the deck and the bathroom door is only 27" wide. SURROUNDING AREA: There are small trails leading away from the cabin; do not walk down them! They lead to neighboring properties and I cannot guarantee that there won't be neighbors who would be very surprised by a stranger showing up on their land! There are lots of public trails only a few minutes drive in either direction from the property :) STOLEN LAND: This property is on stolen, indigenous land. If you are Coast Salish or Makah, please get in touch with me for a discounted stay.

Our Camp is situated on a little more than 5 acres out of our 18 acres of Dense Enormous Evergreen Forest. It is next to the road on Highway 101 but still offers our guests the wilderness experience and semi-privacy with tall trees surrounding the camp. We recommend that our guests use GPS to find Forks, WA, First. Once you find Forks, you will be able to find our camp. Helpful Hints: If you are traveling from the South side of town: We are only about Half a Mile from the Northbound Edge of town on the Right. If you are traveling from the North side: Watch for milepost number 193. This means you are very close. Our camp will be on the left. Our Sites were planned out and spaced to offer our guests plenty of "Elbow Room". Whether your travel plans are for pitching a Tent or parking an RV, we can help you with that. Each site has its own Details and Pricing for Booking your Reservations. We very kindly ask our guests to be patient and adaptable if ever they encounter a booking issue at our camp. Surprisingly it does happen sometimes with the online booking websites. We experienced this problem over our busiest summer season in 2023. So this is why it can be stressful on both our guests and our hosts. We simply ask of our guests to have some mercy on us as we work very hard to accommodate you even if something goes wrong. However, if someone out there is not willing to consider and accept a change in their booking site as a result of a rare but possible booking issue, then they may need to look elsewhere to camp. Regarding Electric Vehicles: The Fee for Charging an Electric Vehicle Overnight is a Flat Rate of $7.00. Please send us a message or call ahead if you are planning to bring one to our camp. Here at Olympic Adventure Campground we work hard to ensure that our guests are content with their camp space and the surroundings. Most of our guests expect to have a quiet, peaceful stay. With this in mind, we have a strict rule in place: No Excessively Loud Vehicles are allowed to operate on our camp road. Some examples not allowed here: ATV (Example: Polaris), Dirt Racing Motorcycles, Race Cars. RV Waste Water Holding Tanks: We Kindly Ask our Guests the Following: Please arrive at our camp with an empty waste water holding tank. There is a place called Bogachiel State Park that has a dump station available for RV's at the flat rate of $5.00. It is located about 5 miles south of Forks, WA. There are also some rest areas along the I-5 freeway that have free dump stations. Please be mindful to not burden our septic system by arriving here with a full tank of waste water that was accumulated elsewhere. When our guests accumulate waste water at our camp: Dumping Cost: $10.00 per 20 gallons. There is another free dumping option. Ask us about it. Some popular activities in this region include; hiking, fishing, kayaking, rafting trips. Lake Pleasant, as its name implies, located only 8 miles North of Forks is a lovely spot for swimming, boating. Camp Keyser Forest Camp

Camp Keyser is a wooded 5 acre parcel in the mountains, near mountain loop highway - in the center of everything wonderful in the northern cascade mountains. We have one private cabin and 6 campsites. Tent campers will enjoy the lush landscape of a mature forest with sites along the (seasonal) Thirsty Creek. Nearby (3 minute walk), users can contemplate views of Whitehorse Mountain, Jumbo Mountain, Glacier Peak, and Whitechuck Mountain. This part of the Stillaguamish valley and the adjacent Mountain Loop Highway is known for a great selection of hiking trails, at all skill levels. It is perfect hub for all of your outdoor interests. The trailhead for the summit of Whitehorse Mountain is just a mile away, as is Old Mine Road trail (45 minute hike ending in 2 waterfalls). A 15-20 minute walk takes campers to a swimming hole in the cool Stillaguamish river for a dip or a paddle. Even closer is Whitehorse Regional Trail (great for biking, walking and horseback riding) built on the bed of the former BNSF railroad through the North Stillaguamish River Valley, spanning over 27 miles. The nearly level trail meanders through the valley, rewarding visitors with picturesque, landscape views of forests, farmland, streams and rivers, and mountain vistas. Sites have a generous fire pit and access to a Porta-Potty. For bathing I recommend cool dip in the Stillaguamish River. In season there is also fishing, snowshoeing, concerts at the blue grass festival grounds, a rodeo, and so much more.

Waterfall Sanctuary is a hidden gem at the end of a dead-end road on 17 acres of land, bordered on two sides by the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Located in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge just outside of Carson, Washington, Waterfall Sanctuary is home to a mini-farm with goats, ducks, and chickens. Deer and elk walk through the property on a fairly regular basis depending on the season, it's less than a mile walk (or a short drive) to the Wind River and a perfect swimming hole with a rope swing, and another short distance further down the road is the Pacific Crest Trail. A 20-minute drive and you're at the Columbia River, the world destination for kiteboarding and windsurfing. Water equipment can be rented from nearby businesses or you can book a whitewater rafting trip on the White Salmon River. An hour from the property to the West is Portland, Oregon if you are in the mood for some city life, and about 40 minutes to the east is Hood River, Oregon, a gorgeous old town with tons of charm, shopping, breweries, and great restaurants. Drive the Fruit Loop or do a winery tour. The closest town, Stevenson, Washington is also home to adorable shops, great local restaurants, and access to the Columbia River as well. Also in close proximity are multitudes of amazing waterfalls, Panther Creek Falls and Falls Creek Falls being the two closest. National Forest roads are close by and well maintained. No matter the season there is something to do a short distance from the property. Please, keep in mind that the property is very rugged except for the trails we have provided for our guests to be able to access other parts of the property. We keep it that way not only so we can attract the copious amounts of wildlife that are a joy for our guests to experience, but also to be more environmentally and ecosystem friendly. We are also off grid and as sustainable as possible- no electricity or running water is available, although we provide battery or solar operated lighting, and a container of water for each spot that we will happily refill for you during your stay.

✨Suzy’s Magic Lil Log Cabin✨✌🏻

This is an adorable log cabin on an acre of land surrounded by fir trees. (Some of the pictures in prior reviews are from when I was renting out the smaller cabin- this listing is now for the larger cabin!) 🤗 You feel like you’re waking up in a state park, but you’re just ten minutes from town. Mt Adams and many hiking trails are nearby. If you are a rafter or a kiter, we are very close to the river as well! It will sleep 4 comfortably- please contact me about extra guests. There is a trundle bed with twin mattresses, and a Queen bed. Both have fitted sheets only. Please bring everything else you may need to be comfortable. The cabin is off grid so charge your electronics beforehand and bring a cooler! It’s a great place for a reset : ) Get your feet on the ground and wake up with the birds chirping. NOTE: You have to pack trash in and out. Leave no trace. I do not have trash pick up at the cabin and anything left has the potential to lure wildlife in. Thank you for your understanding!

Welcome to Olympic Wanderer! Our little slice of PNW paradise is in a quiet heavily forested community next to the hood canal in the heart of the Olympic Peninsula. Enjoy a camping-like experience at this private creek side retreat, without the extra work or discomforts of camping, as you have a cozy well appointed rustic cabin fully stocked with everything you need for your getaway! The outdoorsy options here on the peninsula are endless, and our property features a charming fully stocked cabin, a private creek, firepit, hammock and hot tub. We are within 15 minutes of several state parks, hiking trails, waterfalls, and hood canal access. Directly across the street from the property is the entrance to miles and miles of forest service roads and OHV trails. We have a huge driveway with plenty of room for boat/trailer parking. OHV welcome! We are right in the middle of various access points to Olympic National Park, as well as the Olympic National Forest. Brinnon is a very small town, but there is a waterfront bar/grill and a few other small restaurant choices, with additional options in both nearby Quilcene and Hoodsport.

This property is supposedly one of the first homesteads in Jordan Road. This information is based on stories from some old timers my husband had spoken to in the past when he bought this property in 2002. The owner back in the old days sold off parcels and parcels of lands back then. The property is all fenced in, a place where your fur buddy can run free so you don't have to worry of the baby getting lost! Hopefully you'll get a visit from a deer and hear the hooting of the owl. :) You are welcome to check out our goats too if you want (they're in their enclosed space). The surroundings are peaceful and private, you will enjoy exploring the trails all around the 9 acres out of 12 we are sharing. Stroll down the hill to listen to the sounds of the creek and fish ladder. Our campground cabins are about 4.9 miles from the 'Granite Falls Fish Ladder'. Visit this beauty at Mountain Loop Highway if you fancy a little hike. Drive around 7 miles to the 'Lime Kiln Trailhead. The trail is full of amazing views and history. Our place is only about 45 minutes from Seattle. Why not pack your tent and sleeping bags then drive here after work, then leave in the morning. Leave your worries behind.. enjoy nature.
