Our property is close to town but far enough out that you feel secluded. We have wonderful dark nights with amazing views of stars. There is a fishing access a mile down the road. The river isn't a real deep river, a lot of people use it to float on tubes, but it has been known to have some nice fish occasionally. The area always gets afternoon wind gusts that happen regularly and don't last long but something you'll want to be aware of. On site we have available for rent 2 tiny houses and 4 Rv hook up spots. Our property also has a yurt, an additional tiny house, a skoolie and a motorhome. If you’re wanting to just get away to a beautiful spot, take a hike along the river, float the river or fish this is your place. It’s beautiful and quiet.

The surrounding landscape rewards curiosity: the Big Sag, a vast open depression visible from the property; miles of biking and hiking roads; Judith Landing State Park downstream; and the White Cliffs section of the Wild and Scenic Missouri River Breaks — one of the most dramatic landscapes in Montana — accessible by river float. In September and October, bull elk gather in the river bottoms. Their bugles carry at dawn. Cows move through the cottonwood corridors. It's one of the best elk viewing opportunities in the region.

The hosts were very warm, welcoming, and helpful. We had a campsite reserved, but switched to a cabin (with the hosts help) at the last minute due to the weather. Received a full refund for the camp site. The bathroom was very modern - 2 private showers (doors lock), 3 flush toilets, large handwashing sink, and large, deep double dishwashing sink. Also, an indoor commons area with a fridge and stove/oven with 4 picnic tables. All was very clean. If you have time, there is also a 1.8 mile hike around the property with information placards along the way. Prairie dogs bark all around the property and are fun to watch.
