Come check us out.We offer two private campsites on the Gallatin River near Logan, Montana, 1/4 mile apart on a working farm and ranch. Ranch also is located below ATT and Verizon cell towers. Five minutes from entrance gate to interstate ninety. We are thirty minutes from Bozeman, six miles from Three Forks, MT, three miles from Headwaters State Park (Headwaters of the Missouri River), 12 minutes from the Copper City Mountain biking trails, 20 minutes from Lewis and Clark Caverns, eight miles from Madison Buffalo Jump. Yellowstone National Park is two hours south of the property. Easy full recreational access to the Gallatin River, including fishing if you follow Montana FWP rules and regulations. Gallatin River is a blue-ribbon trout stream and there are four additional blue-ribbon trout streams that are within close proximity. Inhabited by most major indigenous species of Montana, except bison and mountain goats. Our property is in a close proximity to the Fairweather Fishing access on the Missouri River. Camping is not allowed at the access so we would be the closest camping site to this great outdoor playground. There is opportunity for fishing, floating, boating, hunting and swimming in the summer . There are groves of mature trees and open sites available. This is directly off of paved county road. The property adjacent to ours has the original ranch house and barn and other outbuildings that were part of the Ponderosa Pine Ranch which owned most of the valley we're in. The ranch house and buildings were divided away from our part of the property several years ago, so we have our home here and what was mostly pasture. The campsites are all pasture grass with trees for shade.
We do not have cell phone service here. We have one site that has 30 amp electricity. Also we do not have trash service .

The Gallatin River is famous for it's fly fishing. A short walk and over the bridge will find you at a tributary of the Gallatin River, so you have two places to wade, fish or play in the water. The property is home to whitetail deer, turkey, and American eagles.
The river used to be a tributary, but there was an ice jam that changed the river flow and now the river that runs past our property is the main river. A few good fishing holes off property.

Nestled on 60 acres you'll find a private campground in a cottonwood grove just across a log bridge over Miner creek. Across the gravel driveway you'll find a second campground that is tucked back in a secluded cottonwood grove, and further down the driveway, you'll find the 3rd campsite. The campgrounds are 5 minutes to the charming historic downtown of Livingston and the Yellowstone River, 20 minutes to Bozeman, 20 mins to Pine Creek Lodge and an hour to Yellowstone National Park. Dogs are welcome, as long as they are friendly to other dogs. Our dogs freely roam the property.
**All sites share an outhouse located in the parking area by the trail to camp #2. It is only onsite from May 15 to Oct 15.
#1: "Creekside Oasis" campsite has a picnic table, fire ring, a hammock, solar lighting, and a small portable charcoal grill. Although you can car camp at # 1, please note that the camper spot is just off the gravel driveway, and not across the creek where the tent site, picnic table and fire pit are located.
#2: "Off the Beaten Path" campsite requires a short 1-2 minute walk on a tight, uneven path through the trees. It is a small campsite with a fire ring, 2 camp chairs and solar lighting. Do NOT rent this tent site if you need to be close to your car. This site is not on the creek. Creek access is down a trail to the left off the parking area.
#3: "Not for the Faint of Heart" campsite is a 2-3 minute walk from the parking spot on an uneven, tight trail through the trees. It has a fire ring, two camp chairs, solar lighting, and a small portable grill. Do NOT rent this tent site unless you are ready to explore and do not need to be close to your car. Make sure you arrive before dark because although the trail is lit by solar lights even with headlamps it can be tricky to find your way through the trees. Closed-toed shoes are highly recommended. The creek is not right by the tent site like it is in campsite #1. There is a small break in the bushes that gives creek access.
*For all sites we recommend storing your food in your vehicle overnight.
*For all sites you need to bring your own firewood and charcoal.

We are a horse boarding ranch south of Livingston that caters to people traveling with horses or other people traveling and camping. We have an outdoor arena, indoor arena, a bathroom, a shower, barn stalls, barn stalls with runs and paddock areas for horses. Leashed dogs are welcome, but we ask that you clean up after your dog so another camper doesn't have the misfortune of stepping in it. We are located exactly 2 miles from the interstate south of the lovely town of Livingston. We will not allow large party gatherings for local concerts. I will give a forewarning that Livingston is a windy place, especially when storms are coming through. I try to help accommodate tents during these times by letting people set them up in the barn if needed. Please stay attention to checking the weather during your stay so I can try to hep accommodate.

2 nights at Ennis RV Park by Starry Night Lodging
Lovely property but one small complaint....we booked 2 nights, got there an hour before check in closed as per their listing, but when we got there it was already closed. I tried calling (roaming on my cell phone since I am from out of country) and texting with no answer, as well as no response on the app. We ended up having to book a motel room (expensive) instead. The next morning i had a message saying the key to the cabin was sitting in an envelope near the office. There was no message telling me it was there, or that they were closing earlier than their stated time. They did offer to give us another free night, but we were on a road trip and had to move on to our next destination. Absolutely recommend, but be very careful with posted check in times, or it could cost you haha

A wonderful campsite, away from the city, but close enough too. Super quiet. Although a bend in a road nearby, it did not bother me. Very clean privy. Pleasant creek sounds. And I woke to an amazing sunrise over Bridger Mtn and Bozeman and the call of a Sandhill Crane in the pasture.
Ill be staying here again when I go see my son at MSU.

This is an amazing spot! Beautiful land, lots to explore, while not leaving the property. Dogs loved the space to romp and splash in the river. Just outside of the gate, we crossed the bridge to the other side where the river was a bit shallow for dogs to wade in. Sunny, spectacular, & relaxing.

I was really thrilled when I saw the spot. There are three spots that I was the only one there so it was very private. . .with beautiful views of ranches and mountains. My dog loved the little creek. I didn't mind it being close to the road, the sound of cars don't bother me except for the yoho's at midnight squealing tires and acting the fool. But that certainly isn't the fault of the hipcampers.

Nice wide open and flat area. Super convenient getting into Bozeman. Short walk down to rivers edge. Solar lights are nice addition at night. There is a bit of road noise and also quite a few trains but kind of blends in after a bit. Overall very nice spot - definately will be back.

Beautiful location. Stayed here in the winter with a Lance truck camper to access skiing. Jeff was gracious and accommodating. Electric hook ups worked great. About 2 miles to Big Sky Resort. You absolutely need 4wd with good tires to access home. Very steep snow covered roads but I had no problem with stock pickup 4wd. If you like to sleep level, you will need a leveling blocks.

About
Lewis and Clark made camp here in 1805, though we think the amenities are a little better developed at this point. Soak in the beauty of 532 acres made of winding rivers and brambly rock outcroppings. The area used to be a boon for fishers and trappers, and we can't say much has changed. Cast a line and catch some of the bountiful fish at the riverside, or do up your trip in a canoe just like the famous explorers themselves. Heritage exhibits and interpretive displays add to the nostalgic feel here.

Missouri River Campground
This is our second time tent camping in this campground. Not all sites can accommodate tents so check the site descriptions carefully before booking an online reservation. Small RVs will fit in all sites. Picnic tables, fire pits, shared bear boxes, vault toilets, and potable water. Firewood and ice available for purchase from the camp hosts. Lots of mosquitoes.
