Our property is 4 miles from BLM, 5 miles from the Mammoth caves and 10 miles from the Ice Caves. You may be greeted by horses, cattle or dogs on our property, and it's quite possible that you will encounter snakes 🐍 and hear coyotes at night (light sleepers take this into account). We do not have designated areas but, please don’t block the turn around area to the far south, please park wherever you desire, walk your route as this virgin ground has many rocks. 🪨 If leveling is an issue & you need to block the road, let’s verify we have no other campers coming.
There is a runoff river that runs through the property in the early spring but, rarely has water, however, it has amazing lava rock (similar to Black Magic Canyon which isn’t far away); We also like to use it for campfires! Do not drive into the river bottom unless you have 4WD.

We raise Wagyu beef & offer liver dog treats, sourdough bread, we often have dozens of eggs on hand from a local chicken farmer and I make tallow lotion with a dear friend! 🚌-40ft+ Class A motorhome, traveling East down the 520N you need to turn left on the gravel road (North 250E) and right on 670N-at the stop sign turn right on 3 mile rd E and it will connect you to 520N where you will turn left into the property as the gate is angled to enter this way.

What to Expect

- Yardwork happens around our schedules and between guests.
Garden & Fruit
From July to October, guests may enjoy cherries, raspberries, apricots, peaches, plums, pears, and apples—depending on weather and timing. Just ask before picking, as not all fruit may be ripe or reachable.

- Site 1: Full hookup with 50amp (30amp converter available) and water.
- Site 2: Covered RV Bay with 30amp and water—fits big rigs and slide-outs.
All sites are back-in only—please plan accordingly.

A 6.5 acre sloping desert with canyon views, ponds, native plants and trees. Including turkeys, deer, eagles, hawks, fish, rabbits, lizards, otters, and many other wild animals.
**This is a natural, untouched, raw property. ******Please set your expectations correctly. Right now the experience is much closer to actual camping experience rather than a commercial campground but with the benefit of only being 10 minutes from the river in one direction and 10 minutes from town in the other direction. Come stargaze with very little light pollution and enjoy the quiet nature around. There are no amenities other than 3 designated/private spaces to pitch a tent or pick-up/van campers and a professionally maintained outhouse. This is a great stop for a lot of reasons. It's convenient to I-84 and the Twin Falls area. It's easy to find. Parking is straightforward and easy. But best of all is the view of Snake River Canyon from your campsite. We sat there all evening in our chairs until the sun went down and the stars came out. We also got to meet Brett and his dog Charlie and they were both great too.

Had to change plans for the weekend because of weather at our initial spot we were heading to. Thankfully Brittany was willing to take us in last minute, and I mean it, I set up everything about an hour before we got into town. Everyone we met in her family was super nice and accommodating, especially Brittany. She was always quick to respond and attentive to things. Even was willing to have us follow her into the property which helped since we were on motorcycles for our trip. They have a lot of add on options available and the things like the beef and the sourdough are definitely worth it. We got eggs too and between the three things that was our dinner that night and we couldn’t have felt like we had a better meal. I will be coming back here for sure, and if you’re reading this then you should too!

Larry's location was perfect for us to explore the Sawtooth mountains. Getting to the camp was very straight-forward. The directions provided on Hipcamp were easy to follow. The greenhouse mentioned is no longer there, I told this to Larry when he asked how was it getting there the next morning. The field we stayed at looks like it was used to train horses to jump. It was perfect for our two nights. Great star gazing and quiet. Larry provided us with wood for our fire too! The outhouse was convenient and clean. I recommend staying at Larry's camp.
