We are located exactly 2 miles from the interstate south of the lovely town of Livingston. We will not allow large party gatherings for local concerts. I will give a forewarning that Livingston is a windy place, especially when storms are coming through. I try to help accommodate tents during these times by letting people set them up in the barn if needed. Please stay attention to checking the weather during your stay so I can try to hep accommodate.

Nestled on 60 acres you'll find a private campground in a cottonwood grove just across a log bridge over Miner creek. Across the gravel driveway you'll find a second campground that is tucked back in a secluded cottonwood grove, and further down the driveway, you'll find the 3rd campsite. The campgrounds are 5 minutes to the charming historic downtown of Livingston and the Yellowstone River, 20 minutes to Bozeman, 20 mins to Pine Creek Lodge and an hour to Yellowstone National Park. Dogs are welcome, as long as they are friendly to other dogs. Our dogs freely roam the property.
*All sites share an outhouse located in the parking area by the trail to camp #2. It is only onsite from mid-May to end of September.
#1: "Creekside Oasis" campsite has a picnic table, fire ring, a hammock, solar lighting, and a small portable charcoal grill. Although you can car camp at # 1, please note that the camper spot is just off the gravel driveway, and not across the creek where the tent site, picnic table and fire pit are located.
#2: "Off the Beaten Path" campsite requires a short 1-2 minute walk on a tight, uneven path through the trees. It is a small campsite with a fire ring, 2 camp chairs, hammock, and solar lighting. Do NOT rent this tent site if you need to be close to your car. This site is not on the creek. Creek access is down a trail to the left off the parking area.
#3: "Not for the Faint of Heart" campsite is a 1-2 minute walk from the parking spot on an uneven, tight trail through the trees. It has a fire ring, two camp chairs, solar lighting, hammock, and a small portable grill. Do NOT rent this tent site unless you are ready to explore and do not need to be close to your car. The creek is not right by the tent site like it is in campsite #1. There is a small break in the bushes that gives creek access. This site is bigger than #2.
*NO Car camping is allowed at site 2 or 3.
For all sites:
* Quiet hours from 10pm-8am.
*No parties.
*We recommend you arrive before dark, although the trails are lit by solar lights even with headlamps it can be tricky to find your way thru the trees to camps 2 & 3. Closed-toed shoes are highly recommended for the trails.
*We recommend storing your food in your vehicle overnight.
*Bring your own firewood and charcoal.

Camp Paradise Vista on Venus is located at the end of a road which creates a perfect place for peace, quite, safety and privacy. This camp takes up a quarter of a 4 acre property.
There is a vacation rental on one side of the property and this camp spot on the other. This property borders one of the largest and oldest ranches in the Paradise Valley known as the Story ranch.
There are also a plethora of mule deer that roam the area along with the occasional coyote and even more occasional bear. Mountain lions stay up in the hills for the most part but they are around. A few are lucky enough to ever see one. There is room for up to three vehicles at Camp Paradise Vista. There is shelter with a picnic table, a campfire , when there are no fire restrictions, and plenty of room for tents and campers.
Look out for rocks as camp Paradise Vista, rocks tend to grow and roll here!!!
You cannot beat the views at this campsite. And it is only minutes away from the Yellowstone River and a thirty mile drive to Yellowstone National Park! There is only the one campsite on the property so you will have it all to yourselves. Dogs are welcome, but must stay in camp boundaries. This campground can become very warm during the days in the summer.
There is a porta potty and a foot pump sink. No potable water available. If fires are permitted, it is mandatory that all guests dump three buckets of water from the big trough near the shelter onto the fire before turning in for the night. Quiet hours are midnight on weekends and 10 PM weekdays. Please be respectful of neighbors. And above all have a great time!!!

Jardine Retreat camping area sits on a unique and beautiful piece of property in the heart of Jardine, Montana. Bear Creek winds through the property, with several great places to sit by the water and enjoy the surroundings. Plans are in the works for a small retreat center on the property, and in the meantime, we welcome people to camp at this amazing location and enjoy the relaxing space. Your host & owner of Jardine Retreat, Zondra is a massage therapist with a massage studio right next to the camping location. Jardine Retreat guests get priority booking for massage appointments.
On the downstream side of the camping area, we have a large, 16’ x 24’ wall tent outfitted with two cots, a sectional couch, table and wood stove (no bedding provided, please bring your own sleeping bags). You can either sleep in the wall tent, or set up your own tents and use the wall tent as a lounge area. The wall tent sits right on the bank of Bear Creek, with a lovely view of the creek right out the front door, and the sounds of water to lull you to sleep. Due to bear safety, we do not allow cooking in the wall tent – please use the creek side cookshack.
On the upstream side of the camping area, we have one dispersed RV site, with no hookups. RV campers need to be self contained, with their own toilet.
There is a communal cookshack pavilion right on the creek, with a BBQ grill, counter & picnic table where you can cook, enjoy your meals & relax by the creek. We take bear safety very seriously, and do not allow any food or drink (besides water) in the wall tent – please do your cooking and eating at the cookshack. Food & other bear attractants must be secured in your vehicle at night, and cookshack area must be cleaned up immediately after use.
Not all of Jardine Retreat is part of this new camping area. We ask that you please stay in the designated camping space and do not access construction zones, out buildings & other marked off areas of private property. There are fences and signs designating where you cannot enter. We are currently remodeling an 1880’s historic cabin and turning it into a bath house for you to use next time you camp here – but currently there are no usable facilities & no access to any of the cabins on the property.

I stayed at Jammin Jackalope for the Yellowstone Gateway 30K in September of 2026. It was past the busy season for the area I think so I was one of only a few campers. The fall weather was absolutely perfect and the views of the valley were incredible. It was the perfect budget friendly base camp! The bathrooms and outdoor sink were such a great amenity to have. It simplified the whole process of camping. I was greeted when I arrived and directed toward my campsite. The sites are set up very thoughtfully and the whole vibe of the place is immaculate. I will definitely be returning!

This spot on Quartz Creek is spectacular! It is so cozy and beautiful. Sleeping next to the sound of the creek was lovely. We loved all the nice touches Spencer has available on site. We will definitely return.

Spencer's place was spectacular, it has everything. I tent-camped and the sites are well-made with benches, fire pit, and bear boxes, right next to the creek. The trails on the property allow for excellent views of the surrounding area. The property is curated in every way to retreat. Spencer was exceptionally friendly and easy to book with. I'd recommend to families, solo travelers and everyone in between!

We had a great time here. Check in took 3 seconds. The view was absolutely gorgeous. They had bathrooms with showers, a laundry room and a general store. It was clean and well kept. We had a nice cookout on our picnic table. Oh and my boyfriend had a moment with a teen elk. Elk are literally on the property. Which is cute but was nerve wracking coming back late from bar. NOT A COMPLAINT THO.

The trip was an elk hunt, Anita allowed us to use the deep freeze for our elk meat. Further, she allowed us to modify our stay and stay in the barn. It really was a blast for 2 elk hunters that need access to showers and a laundry.

What an amazing camping spot for embarking on our interstellar journey during Space Camp. We felt right at home getting our freak on with all the fellow wooks in the ewok forest. We loved the small sites which encouraged us to pack light and we were able to achieve light speed quite easily.

Our third time staying in one of the campsites.
There’s something to be said for being able to walk 50’ to your site after a show. The bathrooms/showers are turbo nice. Bamboo, I think, floors and tiled showers!!! Always clean!
Lastly, I can’t say enough about how great each and every member of the staff is going out of their way to make sure our stay is amazing.
The place is magical and the staff has a lot to do with it.

This was such a cool spot!! The hosts have really put a lot of attention to the details with signs, lights, hammock and chairs! We arrived closed to dusk and really appreciated the lights guiding us to this dreamy campsite! The quiet stream and log bridge was a fun adventure and made me feel more like I had backpacked then car camped which I prefer! Bathroom was one of the cleanest porta potties I’ve ever been in! Lol
It was windy the night we stayed and we were in between two long road trip days, but next time we are nearby we plan to stay a longer time and get to really enjoy the space!

A++ rating and worth the gravel road drive to get there. Josh was a wonderful host. We unfortunately arrived after 9PM because exiting Yellowstone took much longer than expected. Josh’s very clear instructions got us to the location without issue. What a special treat to wake up to this beautiful location. Seeing the drive during daylight was also special. Highly recommend this Hipcamp location!
