Sheila’s “Gnome Home” was perfect for my glamping needs. It’s a convenient base camp into Yellowstone. The cabin was comfortable, the chickens, goats, horses, and Shetland Ponies were fun, and Sheila’s breakfast + conversations were just what my souls needed.
I’d highly recommend the Gnome Home!

My wife's highlight of the trip to Yellowstone was staying at this beautiful Camp Chicory! We did one night with tent camping and another night in one of few cute cottages. My wife especially enjoyed the breakfast option and my son the goat feeding. We can't say enough great thing about this place. Waking up to that mountain view and the crisp sunshine in the morning is just amazing. I would be there right now if I can.

Beautiful location, definitely should have checked the night time weather beforehand as it was very chilly in our sleeping bags. Once prepared with toe and hand warmers we were very happy campers! The farm animals are adorable and super loving. A perfect Montana trip!

Delightful. Tiny homes are very cute and well maintained. Plenty of space. Close to lots of stuff. Plus you can meet a bunch of farm animals.

Great place to stopover for the night! Cute bunkhouse complete with animals surrounding ( chickens and goats) . Port a potty was clean and easily accessible from bunkhouse. I never met the host but it was clear they were available if needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Last minute decided we didn’t want to find dispersed camping and maybe get eaten by bears so we were able to instant book the Gnome Home at like 6pm and arrive that night! I had ordered the feed for the animals and it was waiting for us inside. SERIOUSLY worth the $2 per cup that was the highlight of our trip so far, the animals are so friendly and love the attention and it’s just hilarious and fun. The gnome home itself was adorable and cozy and just what we needed. There were a couple of other folks with tents on the open property so it’s not secluded I’d say but it’s beautiful!

Camp Chicory had stunning views and everything was exactly as Sheila described. The water tasted incredible! Convenient location to Yellowstone as well as other local amenities. The tail end of our stay had a cold front come through so the wind was strong - make sure you have a sturdy tent and stakes! Will definitely come back :)

Our stay at Camp chicory in paradise valley was the perfect ending to the summer! The views were amazing! Anna was our host for the weekend and she was wonderful! We were only twenty minutes from an amazing hike named pine creek lake. Twenty minutes from Chico Hot springs which is a nice place to drink coffee in the morning and soak from the day hike before! I can’t say enough about the location of this place! They have the little gnome homes that are perfect for people who don’t want to rent camp! I can’t recommend this place enough!

One of my absolute favorite spots during our road trip. It was so adorable and had incredible views.. the chickens and goats added some entertainment to the experience and were SO friendly! Would definitely recommend the gnome home to everyone!! It was definitely a highlight of our trip.

The Gnome Home is a fun little place to stay while visiting Paradise Valley. The host had the place very clean, and our egg and animal feed waiting for us inside. The animals were very friendly and fun to feed and pet. Each site had it's own table and fire pit. We found several beautiful places to hike and recreate in the area. Definitely a great place to stay.

Sheila was a fantastic host! She made us feel very welcome on her beautiful property. The site was set up perfectly with a designated parking spot, picnic table and contained fire pit. We loved feeding the goats and watching the amazing Montana sunset. We will definitely be back and would recommend this site to anyone looking to visit the area.

11 out of 10 for this site! Host is friendly and welcoming, she let us pick from the garden and even provided a propane grill (because of a local fire ban the night of our stay). The animals are friendly but don’t bother the campers, the views are spectacular, and the bathroom kept very clean. Host provides a lot of info so you know your options in the area for food, fun, and supplies!

Sheila has a great spot, she was very welcoming and came to chat with us for a little bit. The site was great with a nice fire pit and picnic table and there was firewood available. There was access to the Yellowstone River about a mile away.

This is a wonderful spot and we would go back in a heartbeat. The host is both non obtrusive and yet available. Sheila shared much with us about wildlife, back country camping and the area. Everything was clean and tidy and my daughters enjoyed both collecting eggs and holding chickens. ;). You have to experience Shielas excellent breakfast: I’m not a biscuits and gravy person but I’m a believer now! Incredible flavor and consistency. And did I mention the night star gazing.... Best spot in our time camping in Yellowstone Bozeman area.

What a beautiful drive getting there! The farm is so peaceful and easy to find, with the benefit of having cell reception if you need it. They have plenty of recommendations of places to go nearby but I loved just relaxing and watching the chickens and goats wander around. The little house is great for keeping out the wind and giving a little more privacy, and the area feels very safe. Definitely recommend getting the add on to feed the animals - it's a hoot watching the animals come running! Sheila and Anna are very helpful and responsive if you need anything.

We had an amazing time staying at Sheila’s place. It was easy to get to, had beautiful views, and was just the peaceful stay we were looking for. Sheila was super helpful and even loaned us a blanket when one of our party realized they forgot a sleeping bag. Had our itinerary allowed we definitely would have stayed longer if we could! The campsites were neat and orderly and the added joy of watching the animals on the property couldn’t be beat.

The views are incredible and the hospitality can’t be beat, even in the midst of a pandemic that requires social distancing. I will be recommending a stay here to all my friends going to Yellowstone or passing through Montana!

I would highly recommend this site. The campground is in the hosts yard, but each site is private. The upkeep is outstanding, and the farm animals roaming around is a fun touch. The host, Sheila came out and welcomed everyone individually and could not have been more friendly. I would highly recommend this site to anyone looking for a safe, well run campsite.
