We purchased our 6-acre home in Paradise Valley in 2010 and have our own little slice of paradise nestled between the Absaroka and Gallatin Mountain Ranges. * 38 miles north of Yellowstone National Park * 10-minute drive to music venues * 360-degree mountain views * 5 minutes from Chico Hot Springs * 20 minutes to Dailey lake / 5 minutes to the Yellowstone RiverWelcome to Camp Chicory! Our Paradise Valley home sits on 6 beautiful acres surrounded by the Absaroka Mountains to the east and the Gallatin Mountains to the west. This region is known for world-class outdoor recreation and wildlife viewing. Join us on your next adventure! Bring your own sleeping bag/pillow and spend the night in our tiny off-grid Gnome Home  (2)-beds are provided (28" wide x 73" long) with mattresses. The entrance door is 24" wide (2.5 feet) and 48" tall (4 feet). The ceiling is 8.5 feet tall once you get inside. Storage underneath beds. Two windows with screens. This tiny cabin is one step above tent camping. No electricity, no running water, no hook-ups. You will need to be able to "duck" down to enter the doorway, then you will be able to stand upright when you enter. *Our Tiny cabins and property are not suitable or safe for minors, children or infants. *No Pets or animals allowed, as we have a working stock dog that is territorial over his space. - Yellowstone National Park, 38 miles south - Yellowstone River access, 1 mile - Dailey Lake, 15 miles southeast (fishing, kayaking, hiking, boating) - Livingston, Montana, 18 miles north - Bozeman, Montana, 45 miles west (nearest airport) - Trailheads, every direction  (ask your host for trail info) - Sage Lodge, 6 miles ( food, horseback riding, day spa, bike rentals) - Chico Hot Springs, 6 miles ( Food, horseback rides, live music, showers, swimming, Hot Springs, day spa, gift shop) - Pine Creek Lodge, 9 miles (restaurant and live music)  - Wildflour Bakery/Follow 'yer Nose BBQ, 7 miles (Best Bakery & BBQ around. Live music) -The Old Saloon - 7 miles  (Food, live music) -Emigrant Outpost - 6 miles (pizza, volleyball, horseshoes, live music) -Emigrant General Store 7 miles (Fuel, food, fishing licenses, ice, laundry next door) ***If you would like to purchase firewood, please do so in the "Extras" area when booking, and it will be at your site waiting for you. ***In the event of an emergency and for Insurance purposes, we require every guest to be accounted for. Spigot, hose, pump or well. Next to the large Tan Shed there is a water facet with a blue handle... Connected to it is a white water hose that you can use to fill up water bottles and such. DIRECTIONS TO USE: PULL handle Up toward sky to turn on. PUSH handle down toward ground to turn off. There is a small level on the hose part, turn on Please make sure you turn the water off when finished so that no flooding occurs. Thank you :) **** PLEASE...PLEASE drown out your campfire for Montana’s sake before you depart. And report any fires that you may see****

No showers
Bathe in lake, bathe in river or stream. Chico Hot Springs ( www.chicohotsprings.com ) offers showers on location. Only 6 miles south of us for $ 8.50 you will get a hot shower AND be able to soak in an amazing natural Hot Springs!! You will have to check their COVID-19 local Up-Dates online. Yellowstone River is 1 mile away and a great location for floating. Dailey Lake is 15 miles away and a fun place to swim. Please respect Leave No Trace rules and use biodegradable/eco-friendly soap when bathing outdoors.
