Spencer's place was spectacular, it has everything. I tent-camped and the sites are well-made with benches, fire pit, and bear boxes, right next to the creek. The trails on the property allow for excellent views of the surrounding area. The property is curated in every way to retreat. Spencer was exceptionally friendly and easy to book with. I'd recommend to families, solo travelers and everyone in between!

We had the most amazing time at Quartz!!! This is an oasis — the land is beautiful, the amenities are amazing and Spencer was so kind and responsive. Truly cannot recommend enough!!

Creekside Tent Site #2 - "Little Pine"
A very cute and quaint site. I wasn’t prepared to not be able to park next to the site but it was nice and we just ended up cooking meals by the yard games/parking area. My kids loved it and we would stay there again!

Creekside RV Site #1 (24ft max)
Had the best stay at Quartz Creek Retreat! The property is beautiful with great amenities. We enjoyed the volleyball court, yard games, communal fire pit, and the trail to the meadow. The porta potty was very clean. Stayed in a pickup camper, the ground is level and being right next to the creek was relaxing. Will be recommending this place over and over again.

Creekside Tent Site #1 - "Skyview"
Really cool spot on a rushing creek in between Big Sky and Bozeman. Trail to the site was well maintained and the site itself had a fire ring, nice picnic table and bear box. Super nice host. Porta potty and games/ outdoor activities in the main site but the camp site itself is secluded.
We could not of been more enthralled with the beautiful surroundings at Quartz Creek Retreat. Easy to get to but felt like we were faraway in a mountain stream sanctuary. The host was extremely responsive, respectful, and generous. Throughout the retreat space were so many thoughtfully and artistically crafted spaces, whether for reflection, games, exploring, or entertainment (see photos of outdoor theater). Also staying here gives you access to the most lovely 15 minute trail through the forest, overlooking the creek, and up to an alpine meadow that looks out onto federal land that borders the retreat. Plan to stay here again. I imagine this place will eventually be hard to find openings to stay at once word gets out.
This place was perfect! The spot is right by the running creek. After being there an hour we booked a second night. Spencer is super welcoming and the place has tons to offer including yard games and hiking. Would definitely highly recommend and would stay there again!

This is a very special place! We camped right next to the creek. There was an outdoor movie theater, nice sand volleyball court, cornhole and horseshoe games and a hot tub. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Lived camping here!
This place is absolutely incredible! Booked 1 night but liked it so much we stayed another! The place as a whole is absolutely beautiful and right on the river. We booked an RV site for our truck camper and hiked up to the national forest adjacent to the site, passing the two very remote, creek side tent spots. The entire place was very thoughtfully and lovingly built by Spencer himself. You can tell a lot of thought and planning went into it. We will absolutely be staying here next time we're in the area.

Amazing Hipcamp! Spencer is incredibly helpful and a great guy all around! The creekside spot is gorgeous and so peaceful. We had a great time!
