Whether you prefer tent camping, van or truck camping, or staying in cabins or tipis, we have the perfect accommodation for your outdoor adventure. Located in a picturesque setting, our property boasts a small intermittant creek that meanders through the land, creating a serene atmosphere. With half of the property covered in an enchanting forest, you'll feel connected to the natural beauty that surrounds you. For music lovers, Pine Creek Lodge, a renowned music venue, sits adjacent to our property. Enjoy the lively tunes from the lodge while relishing in the tranquil ambiance of our camping grounds. While campfires are not permitted, you can still enjoy the great outdoors with your furry friends, as our property is pet-friendly. Additionally, we provide potable water, flush toilets, and sweet showers. One vehicle is included in your nightly rate. Additional vehicles and boat parking are $20 each and can be added online as an "extra guest" or paid on arrival. We are conveniently situated 45 miles from the North entrance of Yellowstone National Park and 12 miles from the quaint town of Livingston. Great spot if you are attending a show at Pine Creek Lodge. Chico Hot Springs is also fun in the area. The bathrooms at Jammin Jackalope are first rate. The view from this site was excellent.

Solid HipCamp next to music venue!
T1: Top Creekside Tent Site
This HipCamp was top notch!! I stayed here all weekend and enjoyed music at the Pine Creek Lodge which is right next door. The host was extremely kind, accommodating and the bathrooms were nicer here than at any hotel or HipCamp I’ve ever stayed at. They were always clean and really nice to be able to wash up each day. I absolutely will be back to Montana at some point and this will be the place to stay! Thank you!

T4: Backstage Tent Site
T4 was a spacious secluded tree lined alcove just far enough away from the other sites. Big enough for tent and a canopy tent as well. The weather was wet this weekend but the clean bathrooms made us comfortable. This was first time in sites but it was nice to be in trees. RV sites are more exposed but better views of incoming weather from those spots.

Jumping Jackalope was a fantastic experience. Don’t be put off by the non-descriptive entry. It’s a beautiful site with great views and the nicest bathrooms I’ve ever seen in a campground. Also, Tyler, the host, was fantastic.

Fabulous campground. The sites were private. It was very clean. Fantastic amenities like shower, hot water, bathrooms. I purchased a tent site. It was very comfortable. They also hat teepees and cabins. The caretaker was incredibly friendly and helpful. I was 100% satisfied and would highly recommend this place visiting Pine Creek lodge or wherever. For those that don’t know, it is located next to a music venue

This is a fantastic HipCamp. The location is amazing with great views. The Dude, aka Tyler, is a great host. He introduced himself and helped us get checked in but also gave us some good recommendations for stuff to do and see while we were there. The bathrooms and showers are clean and comfortable. The walk to Pine Creek Lodge is easy. We stayed in one of the RV/Van sites without power. It was level and clean. The cabins and teepees look great and the path to the tent sites is well marked with private and nice tent pads. We will absolutely be visiting again.

We love Jammin Jackalopes especially T5 Site along the creek bed.. however this year no relaxing water creek bed..something about water rights with local land owner.. the showers and bathrooms are sweet...and can't beat right behind the venue. They have wagons now to help get your stuff back to your site. Huge help thanks Tyler!

We loved camping at Jammin Jackalope! Lucky us, there was a Grateful Dead cover band playing next door so we got to relax and enjoy the tunes! Also, super sweet furry friends at the camp. We would come back in a heartbeat!

I truck camped at Jammin Jackalope on a Thursday night on my way to Wyoming. The spot is about 7 miles off the main highway, but on a well maintained state road. It is a beautiful drive. When I reached the site, I was immediately greeted by the staff. Good vibes right away. I stayed solo on number 21 which is on the top of the property. All the various Tee Pees and Log cabins along the way are close, but seem to have their own privacy. There are multiple bathroom/showers in the middle of the property. They were very clean. I was not expecting how nice they would be. At night I walked down to the concert by the Lodge, which is an outdoor venue. The night I went it was an ACDC cover band. They were pleasantly incredible and the sound mix was excellent as well as the food and beer choices. The cover price was 35 bucks which I was actually glad to pay because this is a quality space and that’s what it cost to keep venues like this alive. I was amazed to see that people like Steve Earle, the Jayhawks, Ryan Adams,Etc have all played there. Clearly, this place has it together. One thing of note for the venue is that there is a no reentry policy. Something to keep in mind. …As a camper, you’ll probably be hear music till around 10-11 PM or so but if you like music, then you’ll love this place. Even if you don’t, you can just hang at your spot and enjoy the views. I really can’t say enough about my positive experience there and I only hope that I can visit again someday.

We had unfortunate and rather significant issues with unleashed dogs being aggressive with our elderly dog throughout the night/morning of 5 June/6 June. Wife and I didn't get a wink of sleep because we had to deal with and shoo off growling dogs circling our truck. The owners of the dogs were uncooperative and hostile. When Tyler politely asked them to control and leash their dogs they immediately ignored those instructions - letting their dogs roam free right after being asked not to - and were a hostile presence for the rest of our trip. Tyler moved us further away from the dogs and people and kicked back $50, which is why I didn't go with the lowest rating. It's my and my wife second visit, we had zero issues last year for Umphrey's McGee and we would've had zero issues this year if it weren't for people not controlling their dogs. We want to come back, it's awesome campground! This was unfortunate.

Well maintained campground with fantastic host and some of the swankiest camping showers and restrooms ive ever seen, seriously those ammenities were better than some hotels ive stayed at. 20 minutes from livingston and 45 minutes from yellowstone, hikes in the area. Had a wonderful time! Watch for deer when driving.

This place is pure magic. The minimal staff was friendly and on top of it in the car camping section. Had an absolute blast. Four full bathrooms with showers was a great surprise. Can’t wait to go back.
