CHOOSING YOUR SITE ⛺
Please let us know if you have multiple tents or vehicles so we can recommend the best spot.
💧 DRY CAMPING: No hookups provided. Hydrants are available throughout the campground.
🚛 LARGE RIGS: Sites 1–6 are best for larger vehicles. These are in an open, flat meadow with views of the pond.
⛺ SECLUDED TENTS: We recommend the "Back Meadow" (Sites 7, 8, 10-17, 19-20) for more privacy, especially in July and August.
📏 LIMITS: Sites 7–20 accommodate vehicles/trailers up to 36 feet total length because of an access bridge.
🚻 AMENITIES: All sites are back-in (except 13 and 16, which are pull-through), offer partial shade, and have access to clean vault toilets.

Due to our proximity to the National Park and the main highway, some traffic and train noise may be heard. To keep our environment pleasant and reduce dust on Greens Road, please keep driving speeds to a minimum.

Get away from it all and get under the Big Sky. Close to the freeway for easy access but adjacent to over 300 acres of beautiful farmland, you’ll experience Montana’s wildlife and have beautiful Mountain views when you stay at Primrose Meadows. There are few trees in the property, it’s mostly rolling hills with some trails to walk and plenty of space between sites! This property has a railroad track that runs next to the property that sometimes toots its horn, if you’re a light sleeper this is something you should consider!

are both great swimming holes! You can also coordinate with us for cross-country skiing or head to Snowbowl for local downhill skiing! We are close to Missoula should you need any services in town.

Welcome to our campground! We are a "Roadside" Campground that offers the convince of easy on/off access to Hwy 90 and the close proximity to Bozeman. We are adjacent to Hwy 90 and the Montana Rail System.
We have a variety of options that should suit just about anyone. We are near Yellowstone National Park as well as Bozeman, MT which offers all types of recreational opportunities e.g. hiking, fishing, climbing, skiing, cycling and running trails.
VanGoBoon is the perfect "Pull-in for the Night" as well as week-long stays! Most of our sites are SELF-CONTAINED. We have 4 sites that have electric and water hookups. (20,30,50amp)
The lawn area has horseshoes, frisbee golf, and corn toss. We mostly offer dry campsites for overnight stays for vans, tents or RVs . Most sites are on concrete slabs so they are level and the property has grass areas with trees as well.
FYI: Great site if you like trains! An important part of Montana’s commerce is transportation by rail so there will be highway and train noise. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to have noise-cancelation devices handy.
Private spots between trees but near freeway for easy access. Our 2 horses have been a favorite with young campers along with the open yet private campsites! We look forward to welcoming you!

We live on 10 acres of mixed forest and field. In the summer we have an active blacksmithing school and flower farm here. The idea of a sustainable, self reliant lifestyle has always been part of our life and passing it down to others is a joy for us. Our Cabin and structures were built primarily of materials that were recycled or milled on site. which makes them warm and inviting. The Cabin is located close to our shop which houses an active blacksmithing school in the summer months where the rest of the structures are separate and in an area tucked away on the edge of the woods.
Jeffrey and Betsy work to make your stay as welcoming as possible. Please note there are no pets as the wildlife could be disturbed..both human and otherwise, thanks. We maintain a small orchard of fruit trees, a garden which feeds us year round and a small flower farm on the property. Avid skiers, bikers, paddlers and hikers, offering the property for others to enjoy was a conscious decision made when planning all of our infrastructure. Nestled on 60 acres you'll find a private campground in a cottonwood grove just across a log bridge over Miner creek. Across the gravel driveway you'll find a second campground that is tucked back in a secluded cottonwood grove, and further down the driveway, you'll find the 3rd campsite. The campgrounds are 5 minutes to the charming historic downtown of Livingston and the Yellowstone River, 20 minutes to Bozeman, 20 mins to Pine Creek Lodge and an hour to Yellowstone National Park. Dogs are welcome, as long as they are friendly to other dogs. Our dogs freely roam the property.
*All sites share an outhouse located in the parking area by the trail to camp #2. It is only onsite from mid-May to mid-Oct.
#1: "Creekside Oasis" campsite has a picnic table, fire ring, a hammock, solar lighting, and a small portable charcoal grill. Although you can car camp at # 1, please note that the camper spot is just off the gravel driveway, and not across the creek where the tent site, picnic table and fire pit are located.
#2: "Off the Beaten Path" campsite requires a short 1-2 minute walk on a tight, uneven path through the trees. It is a small campsite with a fire ring, 2 camp chairs, hammock, and solar lighting. Do NOT rent this tent site if you need to be close to your car. This site is not on the creek. Creek access is down a trail to the left off the parking area.
#3: "Not for the Faint of Heart" campsite is a 1-2 minute walk from the parking spot on an uneven, tight trail through the trees. It has a fire ring, two camp chairs, solar lighting, hammock, and a small portable grill. Do NOT rent this tent site unless you are ready to explore and do not need to be close to your car. The creek is not right by the tent site like it is in campsite #1. There is a small break in the bushes that gives creek access. This site is bigger than #2.
*NO Car camping is allowed at site 2 or 3.
For all sites:
* Quiet hours from 10pm-8am.
*No parties.
*We recommend you arrive before dark, although the trails are lit by solar lights even with headlamps it can be tricky to find your way thru the trees to camps 2 & 3. Closed-toed shoes are highly recommended for the trails.
*We recommend storing your food in your vehicle overnight.
*Bring your own firewood and charcoal.

The Mooseshroom is an awesome camping community that is just 7 miles from the west side of Glacier National Park. Community fire pits near the Commons are a short walk from whichever tent spot guests are assigned. The Commons also houses the bathrooms and inside/outside kitchen areas. There is plenty of seating, hammocks and picnic tables for guests to use as well. We also have two yurts available for booking on our property.
The Mooseshroom is a licensed business that is limited to hosting 18 guests per night. Guests should expect a quiet, peaceful camping experience with plenty of room to enjoy their surroundings.
***This property is adjacent Highway 2 and there is a fair amount of road noise. There's also a train that's fairly close. The noise kinda comes with the territory, guests are also 10 minutes from the west entrance to the park. The noise does tend to subside considerably at night, but for those bothered by this type of noise, you might consider an alternate location. Most guests are truly fine with it.

(May have stayed up a little past quiet time). When we are back in the area will for sure stay again. Clean bathroom/shower, was able to access a fridge and freezer and dish washing area. Great spot!

There’s a tent site & they have an RV you can rent A really nice one and they are working on the mobile home; that’s on the property which is used for restroom facilities and what not right now. Beautiful piece of property highly recommend. The host were very nice as well.

Abby is quite the storyteller and he is such a huge help for getting you set up. Anna has done an amazing job it’s the finishing touches and ensuring that things are nice and a huge step up from your general campsite. They pop by everyday to check in and are always available. Try the outdoor shower!! It is a MUST! Super private and so nice. I have frankly never stayed in a campground with such attentive and wonderful hosts. Only downside is a bit of a bumpy and rocky road in but if you can bear that you won’t regret it!! Absolute 11 out of 10!

Wonderful environment. Very welcoming. The hosts are so awesome, sweet and kind. She met us as soon as we arrived and showed us around and introduced us to Ben the horse. They made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We originally booked only one night but as soon as we stepped foot on the property and saw how beautiful and tranquil it was we immediately booked another night.

We loved Glacier hipcamp, the description and reviews are accurate. We camped in site 12 with our campervan and although there were 2 other sites in our cul de sac it was very private. Our dogs liked the hiking trails and the owner stopped by to welcome us. The street and train noise didn't bother us, and our Verizon signal worked well although there is wifi near the main house we didn't try. Next time we will try biking on the bike lane into Glacier

We stayed over the 4th of July. It’s a very nice campground. Quiet, and secluded. The shade from trees was Perfect and we enjoyed the pond views. Deer were in the area for viewing. It’s near a small town with stores for convenience. There are no hook ups so be prepared. It’d stay there again or recommend to a friend

Awesome family owned campground just outside the park entrance. Sites are private, well maintained and large. Toilets convenient and clean. Water fill available. Very hospitable hosts!
Note - you do hear the train in the sites closer to the road and it runs early in the summer season.

The host was wonderful. They were extremely nice and the bathrooms were so clean! Great spot to stay at if you want to support the locals of hungry horse and stay somewhere beautiful. We will be back next year!

Don’s site is absolutely incredible! The property is exactly as described, but honestly, it is even better in person. The site is wonderfully secluded and private. Our fierce "guard dogs"—who are really just tiny puppy Doodles—barked at neighbors passing by to use the outhouse. I felt bad for anyone needing to use it, but the setup itself is fantastic. Speaking of the outhouse—it was the absolute icing on the cake! As I told Don when he came by to check on us, if a high-end hotel were to put a porta-potty inside their building, this would be it. I have never seen one so incredibly fancy and clean, and it was so huge inside that you could literally do burpees in it. Don is an amazing host, highly hospitable, and very quick to answer questions. We loved it so much that we even ended up extending our stay for another night! We will definitely be coming back!
