The view was beautiful and directions were clear. Had a good time relaxing and enjoying the sun. My dog had a blast being off leash running around, since it was just the 3 of us. Property was clean and beautiful. We will definitely be back.

The traffic was heavy and close-by, but easily tuned out when in the camper. Worth it to have a big space for the dogs to run/play without the concern of camping neighbors/other dogs. Love being able to walk a few feet to watch the river, but water was high/fast, so not opportune for fishing. Still made a great getaway from life.

This campsite ended up being exactly what I didn’t realize I needed. Having the whole space to myself was such a peaceful reprieve from traditional campgrounds and a good reminder that sometimes less really is more.
The river right behind camp made the whole experience feel still and grounding — coffee in the morning, water in the background, nowhere to be. It honestly felt like the perfect reset before getting back into camper life and moving again.
I’m especially thankful for places like this that choose to host one guest at a time, even when they could fit more. There’s something really special about protecting the experience instead of maximizing occupancy, and it made all the difference.

Great spot right on the river! The dogs loved the ability to play in the water all day. Wish there was more of a beach front to sit in chairs in the water but we just went down to the fishing access a little bit down the road and no one was there and has a beach area. Full hookups were fantastic and allows for a group of 3 RVs. Owner very communicative and accommodating. Thanks again!

While we only stayed on this site overnight, we found it clean and highly accessible. Our 43' fifth wheel and tow vehicle had no problem entering, maneuvering, and parking. The river adjacent to the property was pleasant, deer frequented the property, and highway noise was minimal for the most part. Power, water, and waste connections were quality. We would certainly stay again if in the area.

Beautiful property right on the Bitterroot River. It was very clean and well maintained. It was so nice to have full hookups and we had the whole place to ourselves. We enjoyed sitting on the porch of the little outbuilding overlooking the river. We had a deer welcome us to the site when we got there and watched a mama and here two babies across the river the next day. We would definitely recommend this to other campers. Heidi was very responsive to all my questions.

Great Spot! Very private.. and a large area all to ourselves.we enjoyed the full hook-ups, privacy, well-kept pad, and view towards the East. And in a time where Hipcamp hosts are charging exorbitant prices for the simplest of campspots... this was right in line for the Bitteroot valley!
The river wasn't, realistically, a selling point much beyond looking at it. Very nice esthetic but as the hipcamp is on the steep-bank side of the river, the water runs too fast, and drops deep just off the bank, there's not much of an opportunity to wade in it! Could be, it slows and drops later in the summer? Full sun most of the day, for lack of trees, is something to consider in the heat of the summer.
We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

Gorgeous and peaceful, right alongside the Bitterroot river, nice views of the mountains and forest. I was the only one there, but only 3 sites. Highway 93 close but not loud. Light traffic.

What a beautiful site! You are right on the Bitterroot River, just off the main road but really don’t hear the road noise. Just outside town. We stayed here 3 days and just loved it. She only rents it out to one person but there are three hookups so you can pick your space. The dogs loved it. I could watch my husband fish in the comfort of my trailer where it was warm. Definitely would try to book again when we come back!

What can I say!!! We loved every minute of our 4 day stay. Such a beautiful spot all to ourselves with the Bitterroot River out the backdoor!! Very large area, room for our dog to play too! Full hookups were such a plus. I highly recommend this site to anyone traveling to Darby!!! We camped in a 30' travel trailer.

Nice spot on Bitterroot River. Flat gravel pads with hook ups. Fenced in area made it more private. Proximity to Rt. 93 allowed for some highway noise but in the evening it was not noticeable.
Convenient to town if you need anything.
Had deer visit in the morning and caught a few trout in the river. Even got to the Rodeo!
Good directions to site provided.
Heidi was very responsive.
Would recommend this spot for fellow travelers.

Loved this beautiful spot! We hiked, biked, ate in town, and enjoyed our time relaxing next to the river and views of the mountains.
The sites are pretty close together, but we were the only ones there so it was private. Would be a perfect place to camp with a group!

This property was a great place to stay right out of Darby. The sites would have been a little tight together had there been other RVs but we were the only ones at the site. You can see that they are making some great improvements to the area compared to pictures in the booking. We were pleasantly surprised to find full hookups! Grateful to have stayed here and I was even able to snap a few pictures of the "Dutton" ranch even though they had security posted up for filming.
The river was great for my husband and 2 year old. They were able to walk in it a bit but there wasnt really much of an edge to play on. My husband just walked my son in down the bank and stood with him holding his hand.

Quiet little place with great location, very clean and right on the river. Heidi was great and gave recommendations of where to see elk and moose and we were successful on both. Would definitely stay here again. Loved the town of Darby!

Overall we enjoyed our stay and we lucked out being the only campers at this site, the sites are fairly close so I would totally recommend this spot if traveling with a couple other campers. Absolutely beautiful place right on the river and location made it an easy home base while visiting sites in the area.

Really nice sites on the banks of the river. Cool little sleepy town of Darby. It was a lazy stay for us, not much adventuring so much I can't recommend hikes and such, but they are plentiful. Enjoy your stay and watch the water drift by. Also, I cannot catch fish and am a disappointment to my family. Next time I'll hire a guide.
