We can’t wait to share our land with you! Get away from it all and get under the Big Sky. Close to the freeway for easy access but adjacent to over 200 acres of beautiful farmland, you’ll experience Montana’s wildlife and have beautiful Mountain views when you stay at Primrose Meadows. There are few trees in the property, it’s mostly rolling hills with some trails to walk and plenty of space between sites! This property has a railroad track that runs next to the property that sometimes toots it’s horn, if you’re a light sleeper this is something you should consider! We are close to Council Grove and Frenchtown Pond which are both great swimming holes! You can also coordinate with us for cross-country skiing or head to Snowbowl for local downhill skiing! We are close to Missoula should you need any services in town.Get away from it all and get under the Big Sky. I have already left a review, but because I booked twice, Hipcamp is insisting I leave another one. I appreciated Erin's place and enjoyed walking my dogs on her property.

Primrose Meadows

Primrose Meadows is a beautiful location with stunning scenery, but be prepared for frequent and loud train noise. While the host did mention the nearby train, we didn't realize how intense it would be—even for heavy sleepers, it was a bit disruptive. If you're sensitive to noise, this might not be the best fit, but otherwise, it's a lovely spot to camp.

Loved this camping area. Several sites to choose from and plenty of distance between other campers. Erin was very helpful and a great host!

Nice view, close to town, expensive

We had a good time, the campsite was pretty and clean, the host was very helpful and friendly. It was just a bit expensive, almost $50 for just one night in October. No water or trash service. But if this is how Montana families are able to hang on to ranch land, more power to them.

Primrose Meadows

I loved tent camping at this site! Although my partner and I headed into town throughout the day to go visit my brother at University of Montana, it was such a lovely stay to watch the sunset and sleep! Erin was also so kind when greeting us. Definitely recommend!
