Mountain Majik
The parks along the Bitterroot River are some of the most beautiful places I have ever seen! Go to the sno-cone stand in town (there's ALWAYS a line, but they're worth the wait!) Try the O.G. sno-cone...it's to die for! Hamilton only has 2 grocery stores and 2 small hardware stores; I recommend stocking up on food/supplies and bringing with....selection is very limited unless you're willing to drive to Missoula an hour + away!

Not at all what we expected. Tall unmowed grass, dead tree limbs- anyone stayed here lately?? Owners utility trailer in site. They forgot they had guests coming. :(

Site 1 - Mountain Majik
GORGEOUS, PEACEFUL, CONVENIENT
I highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting or passing through Hamilton MT. This was our favorite spot so far on our trip from Vermont. Right next to Hamilton, We were the only ones at the time which was very nice for our dogs, and Telesha came right out to greet us. She is very friendly and hospitable, I really enjoyed chatting with her briefly. We really enjoyed watching the horses on the ranch as well as the neighboring sheep out in the fields. The stars were absolutely stunning and we laid out a blanket to stargaze before bed. My dog Mocha is extremely anxious and does not like new places. This was the very first stop where she actually RELAXED and took a nap in the grass, rolled/sniffed around, and ate some food. The small creek right by the first site was so cute and extremely cooling in this heat. I dunked myself in as well as our dogs to cool off. We went further up the road to check out the wildlife reserve and then visited Canyon creek. Unfortunately we had to leave pretty early in the morning so we didn’t get the chance to tour the barn but that can be saved for another visit!! Definitely recommend this site for all respectful, nature-seeking individuals looking for a quiet serene place to stay. Thank you Telesha!!!

Nice country setting
We love staying at Majik Mountain! This is our second time staying. The views of the Bitterroot Mountains are stunning. It is very relaxing here. Telesha is so nice and welcoming, too. Fun to hear and watch the horses.

We enjoyed the wonderful accommodations at Telesha's little slice of heaven. Off the beaten track by a few miles, it offered silence broken only occasionally by the sound of farm animals and Merlin and Telesha's beautiful horses.
The camping area was a grassy part of their place, with water and 15 amp power (site number 2). Clean, beautiful view and very, very friendly.
We enjoyed becoming friends with the horses!
We'd stay there again -- and probably will.

Quintessential Montana
We brought our smaller camper and absolutely enjoyed the idealic grassy knoll that abutted the small stream and lilac hedges. Dreamy views and peaceful environment. Will be back as often as possible. Thank you Telesha!

Shangri-la!
This is a shangri-La! We never wanted to leave! From the babbling sweet stream to the stellar views of snow-capped mountains and green grass to the adorable baby horses frolicking in sight, there are wonders to behold. We parked easily at site 1 with a 20 foot airstream trailer and it was so flat we didn’t even need to unhook the trailer from the truck. My dad slept in a tent next to the trailer, which plugged into 30amp electricity. Thank you for a great stay!

The finest place we’ve ever stayed.
Look no further…. this place is magical. With lush green lawns, beautiful views and no crowds, it was very difficult to leave Mountain Majik and head off to our next state park. We fell in love with the ranch and the beautiful Arabians. Watching the horses run in the morning was a “rush” better than my first cup of coffee! It is simply the perfect peaceful place to unwind. Getting to meet Merlin, one of our hosts, was also a highlight for me. He is the epitome of a horse rancher and was adorable, personable and kind. We will most definitely be coming back to Mountain Majik.

It was a beautiful place to stay. The host was great with communicating back and forth. The family was very accommodating and helped us with any questions we had ( I needed help booking up the power.). We will definitely be staying there again.

Tranquil Spot in the Mountains
Perfect spot surrounded by mountains. Convenient location. Far enough away for peace and tranquility, but 11 minutes away from shopping/food/downtown. Communication with host was great. Electric and water worked great. Well cared lawn that leaves the spot clean. Peaceful and relaxing. Unfortunately, we were there during peak fire season, so the days weren't super clear, but the mountains are there. Wish we could've enjoyed them more. Despite that, consider this a top Hipcamp spot. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely site for our family to visit. BBQ and just hang out! It is close to town and the views are spectacular. My grand son enjoyed seeing the horses on the property too. It was hot so the little water creek was a great cool down for us. I highly recommend this beautiful spot . The host communicated well with us.

Great RV space in Bitterroot Valley
Nice peaceful place! The hosts were very clear with their directions and provided electric and water as promised. Our little girls loved the horses but most of all they enjoyed the farm cats! We would definitely recommend to other guests and would stay here again!

Hay is for horses! 5 stars!
The spot is right in their front yard; when we first got there it was a little worrisome we might be intruding but it turned out to be a very comfortable setting. Telesha was so prompt in making sure we had everything we needed and communicated so well! The barn tour was short, sweet and provided the kids with a comfort level they wouldn’t have had (Tori and her daughter were wonderful). The kiddos LOVED the horses, dogs (such lovers) and all the barn cats! Merlin’s parting gifts of business cards to the kids was a big hit too—the kids loved learning there was a website where they could check in on the four legged friends they made. It was a very nice reprieve from camping in the woods and being located between Hamilton and Corvallis was such a plus for our visiting family. We live in this area and booked this trip for our family as our new home is being built; being raised here, I can personally attest to the absolute beautiful views this spot has if it wouldn’t have been smokey. We would highly recommend and in fact, my in-laws are already booked for next weekend! Thank you!!

Truly majik-al place!
We had such a wonderful stay at Mountain Majik last week! Telesha and Merlin were both so kind and made us feel very welcome. The horse ranch property is gorgeous and the views of the surrounding mountains and valley were stunning. We were there during the big heat wave and enjoyed sitting in the shade next to the stream that ran through our site in the evenings. It was so peaceful and relaxing! We also enjoyed visiting with the beautiful horses and walking on the quiet country roads in the area. We had plenty of space for our 36 foot class A and our tow car. The cell phone and Internet connections were great. We had plenty of privacy. Some other reviews have mentioned that the two camp sites are in the host’s yard. While that is technically true, their “yard” is huge and we only saw them a few times while we were there. We had so much more space and privacy than any of the RV parks or campgrounds we’ve stayed in over the years. The location is convenient to many activities and beautiful sights. We enjoyed a couple of nice dinners in Hamilton and took a day trip to Darby where we were able to see the ranch where they film Yellowstone. Mostly, though, we thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to relax and unwind in a peaceful and beautiful place. We definitely plan to return!

We loved staying at Mountain Majik! Telesha was very welcoming and friendly, which made us feel at home. The mountain views from her property were fabulous. It was fun hearing the horses whinny in the background. It is close enough to town to be convenient, but out enough to be private. I would highly recommend staying here. We look forward to coming back again!

Peaceful beauty in Montana
Telesha and her husband have created a beautiful, special place for guests and we had a wonderful time at her place. She took the time to tell us the history about Arabian horses and introduce us to her amazing horses. My husband and I feel differently about the role of horses now, for sure. But the important fact is we had a quiet, peaceful time in a gorgeous setting. Don’t miss this pretty part of Montana and definitely stop at Telesha’s ranch. You will wish you could stay longer.

Gorgeous spot. So peaceful with views all around. It's a very quiet neighborhood with horse properties everywhere, so walking on the local roads is very comfortable. Close to town in case need anything yet feel beautifully rural.

This farm is so beautiful, surrounded by mountains. There is power and water, everything you’d need, and the horse farm is lovely. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate with us and we had to leave earlier than planned due to other unrelated issues, but would love to come back some time.

Montana in its glory
The setting in the Bitteroot Valley is outstanding! Major mountain ranges in full view from both campsites, which are very quiet and private even though they're close to the main house. Many beautiful Arabian and part Arabian horses looked after by friendly staff. Host Telesha was very friendly and pleasant when she came to greet us with her 2 well trained, friendly dogs. We recommend this place highly!
