I loved the openness, hiking trails available, adjacent to public land. The skies were clear & allowed the billions of stars to shine. Chris cares for his campers & wants to ensure them a wonderful experience.

Secluded little spot, Chris was super helpful even though I arrived very late at night. Felt super safe as a solo female traveler. Would love to stop by here again!

What a beautiful location! A little bit of a drive north from I-90, but well worth it. Wonderful sunsets and all the stars! Chris was very friendly and a great host. The campsite was a good size. The portapotty and garbage were easy to get to. Ground was easy to stake a tent. We saw several deer, osprey, bats and pelicans. Would definitely stay here again!

It was an amazing time and experience at Chris’s property! A perfect getaway and I would highly recommend it for the solo traveler great for families looking to camp in Montana. I explored the hill side lots of deer and wildlife activity. 10/10

We booked last minute and I believe the hosts were gone when we got there but, they gave good instructions to get there and we found our spot just fine. Nice spot with trees and just a short walk to the shared portable toilet. The only thing I would say on the negative side is that it wasn’t as quiet as I might’ve expected for country camping…there are train tracks 200-300 yards away so there were a few noisy trains throughout the night. There were also dogs nearby barking often and a little rooster that started crowing at 4:30 am. You can expect those in the country, it just made it a little harder to get restful sleep but, if you’re used to big city noise, you’ll probably do just fine.

My wife, Sheri, and I stayed here 3 nights for our honeymoon. We stayed at the tiny creek campsite and paid the extra $6.50 a night for the propane fire pit. It was super relaxing and quiet. Port-a-potty was close to camp and was very clean! The camp host was super nice and polite. Even gave me recommendations where I could get my temporary fishing license. Not having to find/buy firewood was a big bonus. Once we got settled in, we had a very relaxing time here. If we come back to go camping in this area again, we will definitely be staying here again. 10/10! Check these guys out! They were amazing!

Chris’s property is gorgeous - there are three sites, but you’re far enough away from the other sites that you would hardly notice other people. There’s easy access to a couple ponds, a fantastic fishing access site just a couple miles away for nice river access, and each campsite has everything you might need. Having a toilet available was so handy, and our site had a picnic table and umbrella for use. Chris and his pup Glock were there to greet us, and were on hand to answer any questions we had, and give us tips about the area. We definitely plan on staying here again!

We loved camping on Chris’s land! He greeted us at the entrance and showed us to the site on his bike. Chris was a wonderful and friendly host and told us all about his property. We took a little walk and dip in the river and enjoyed the incredible stargazing. Definitely recommend for a peaceful and beautiful weekend camping!

Beautiful location a bit off the beaten path. Chris was welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
There is a train that runs across the back of the field but it wasn't disruptive. We could hear shooting from a nearby range during daylight hours.

This is a beautiful property with all sorts of interesting things around to explore. Chris was out helping some neighbors when we arrived but we were shown to our campground by his dutiful and adorable wirehair dog, Glock! Thanks Glock! Very close to the Missouri River and we had plenty of privacy for our stay. We would book here again if staying in the area!

Chris has a wonderful piece of property that we really enjoyed staying at. There was plenty of room for all our rigs and Chris was very welcoming. The campsite and porta-potty were really clean. Loved that there was trash and recycling on site. I wish the proximity of the train had been mentioned ahead of time. Not sure it would have changed our stay, but would have been good to know about.

Chris's property was lovely. It had pretty views, plenty of space to park your RV or set up tents and was close to the Missouri River.
Chris was onsite to greet us and checked in with us each day. He was able to provide information on activities in the area that we were interested in.

Chris's land was very close to the Missouri. It was easy to access the river with a short 5 min drive. Chris was very friendly and knowledgable. He gave us quite a few pointers for the area. The land is also close to mountain bike trails, which would be better in the Spring and Fall.

We had a great time! Chris was an excellent host. The property is beautiful, quiet, and feels very private. Our dog loved being able to run around and burn off energy. We highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back!

We dry camped with our pop up camper. There was a clean and comfortable port-a-potty available for use—not too close but not too far from the site. Perfect! The location is plenty off the interstate—that is a pro! The scenery is beautiful with mountains surrounding the valley. There is a train that runs occasionally next to the property but it adds to the ambiance —it beats road traffic noise any day. Nobody in my family minded the train at night and I ran a fan to soften it (we had a generator). It wasn’t close to the site at all, no safety concerns.
Almost complete privacy at our site; only one other camper who passed through after one night.
Chris was friendly and accommodating. He was available but not intrusive. Very responsive. If you want out of the traditional campgrounds then you want to try this place out. The red site that we stayed at was my favorite of the options available.
