Absolutely stunning. It had to be the best anniversary ever. The sites are nicely spaced, it’s quiet, and gorgeous. We will be back!

Pros: very private. Dogs can be off leash and there is a running river next to the site
Cons: there are spiky weeds and cow poo everywhere

Great little property! Very quiet with exception of some HWY noise. We arrived very late and it was difficult to see the signs indicating the spots. A map of the property would have been helpful. Woke up to deer across the way and a beautiful morning! Would highly recommend!

Easy access off the highway. Huge, flat campsite. Felt remote. Great spot to pull into for the night while passing through the area.

There are some nice views from the property and the sites are very private. The site was not exactly what we expected from the photos. The campsite was pretty much a dirt field with weeds and cow manure. There are some pretty trees around. There was a lot of noise from the nearby highway. The water on the property did not look very clean. This is a working ranch, so imagine there is runoff.
I normally would never leave a negative review but I wish we had a better understanding of the property before we booked.
The host was very nice and responsive. The property is right off the 90 so if you’re just looking for something close and convenient this could be a good fit.

Great site. Tons of birds and wildlife. Saw a moose this morning. Scot was very accommodating for us to change to a different site. Next time will come in the spring when we can fish the Jef.

We had a wonderful experience camping at Scott’s property. It is beautifully situated along the river with ample space in each campsite. Scott was very responsive to our questions and super helpful in making this a wonderful experience. We will definitely camp at Scott’s property again in the future.

We had such a great time at this last minute stop on our road trip. The site was well maintained and better than advertised!! The views were stunning and the river was a perfect place to watch the sunset!!! Communication was amazing as well!! Apple Maps took us to the wrong entrance and the owners were quick to respond with the correct info!

I had a great stay. Lovely, fairly private camping spot. As advertised. Spent two nights. Had some issues w a neighbor’s dog, but that was quickly remedied by Scot. I really appreciated that. The spot was ideal for my purposes.
Note: I travel w a dog who is half pit bull. I understand pit bull culture and how sensitive it can be. The people next door are the ones who make pit bulls look bad and pit bull owners look bad.

We really enjoyed our stay at Old Town River Ranch. Camp site was quiet, clean and directly across from the river. The only negative was the gate was a little small to get in and out of with a trailer. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

I was extremely satisfied to the privacy we received during our stay. I do wish there was a closer toilet but I couldn’t complain about it at all. The toilet was a small walk but I was highly impressed with how well taken care of it was, and I mean cleanest portable toilet I have ever flippin seen. Our campsite didn’t have a picnic table but the one next to us did. I would definitely come here again, highly impressed with the privacy and seeing nobody else during our stay!

We enjoyed Scots site. It was just an overnight stop but was VERY quiet. The river was easily accessible and the kids loved playing in it.

Nice and private campground and spot. Lots of big trees throughout the campsite. Site number 5 has direct access to a nice swimming hole behind the camp (getting to the hole takes some agility). If you have dogs, make sure to bring a tarp or shovel to clear the thistle in the site. The bathroom was very clean.

#6 was a great site. The campground is quiet and clean. Saw some cranes and deer. Overall, Scot provided clear instructions and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I think some people would really like staying here. It was secluded and by a lovely river. However, it wasn’t what we were looking for. The ground wasn’t grated, so it was hard to find a flat area for the tent. There were thistles and no shade at our spot #5. The out house was quite a ways away and with the ground being uneven and having thistles, we didn’t want to go there in the middle of the night. I think it would be better for camper camping.

Lovely property for camping. Our dogs loved jumping in the creek to fetch sticks. We had some some difficulty locating the entrance gate due to a road closure, but Scot got us sorted out quickly.

I found a great deal of solitude and peace while camping here. The property is close to town but secluded which provided ample space to get away from the busy-ness of life. The clearing for tents was spacious though had a fair amount of pokey weeds so be prepared with appropriate foootwear!

This was a very quiet, peaceful spot along the river for the night. It did feel very remote even though we were close to neighbors and downtown. My dog was able to roam off-leash the entire time and swim in the creek. The water was clean and refreshing.
Very basic campsite, but the fire pit worked well. Surrounded by nice views.
