Nestled on 60 acres you'll find a private campground in a cottonwood grove just across a log bridge over Miner creek. Across the gravel driveway you'll find a second campground that is tucked back in a secluded cottonwood grove, and further down the driveway, you'll find the 3rd campsite. The campgrounds are 5 minutes to the charming historic downtown of Livingston and the Yellowstone River, 20 minutes to Bozeman, 20 mins to Pine Creek Lodge and an hour to Yellowstone National Park. Dogs are welcome, as long as they are friendly to other dogs. Our dogs freely roam the property. **All sites share an outhouse located in the parking area by the trail to camp #2. It is only onsite from May 15 to Oct 15. #1: "Creekside Oasis" campsite has a picnic table, fire ring, a hammock, solar lighting, and a small portable charcoal grill. Although you can car camp at # 1, please note that the camper spot is just off the gravel driveway, and not across the creek where the tent site, picnic table and fire pit are located. #2: "Off the Beaten Path" campsite requires a short 1-2 minute walk on a tight, uneven path through the trees. It is a small campsite with a fire ring, 2 camp chairs and solar lighting. Do NOT rent this tent site if you need to be close to your car. This site is not on the creek. Creek access is down a trail to the left off the parking area. #3: "Not for the Faint of Heart" campsite is a 2-3 minute walk from the parking spot on an uneven, tight trail through the trees. It has a fire ring, two camp chairs, solar lighting, and a small portable grill. Do NOT rent this tent site unless you are ready to explore and do not need to be close to your car. Make sure you arrive before dark because although the trail is lit by solar lights even with headlamps it can be tricky to find your way through the trees. Closed-toed shoes are highly recommended. The creek is not right by the tent site like it is in campsite #1. There is a small break in the bushes that gives creek access. *For all sites we recommend storing your food in your vehicle overnight. *For all sites you need to bring your own firewood and charcoal.

There can be bugs - mosquitoes & spiders. There can be weeds. Water levels in the river vary dramatically depending on the time of year - sometimes high & fast other times low & slow. Sometimes it'll be really hot, dry & dusty, other times humid & muddy, maybe even flooded in areas, sometimes it can be cold & icy. The Stillwater River Wedding Ranch is a wedding venue on the Stillwater River. We also host wedding and cooprate retreats right on the beautiful Stillwater River. Learn more about this land: Surrounded by hay fields, stars, and the Stillwater River, this site is a little piece of heaven. The site has a clean portable outhouse. Spend the day fishing, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. There are lots of whitetail and mule deer to watch for, as well as geese, ducks, cranes, foxes, coyotes, turkeys, and raccoons. Every once in a while, a black bear might travel through camp. It is solitude.

Old Town River Ranch is a serine river front escape located in beautiful Three Forks Montana. We offer a private off grid camping experience directly on the Jefferson riverfront. We provide a limited number of campsites to maintain privacy for our guests, with just three riverfront spots and three creekside spots. Large aspens and willows span the property. Plenty of opportunities for fishing, swimming and wildlife viewing including bird watching. We do have a portable toilet on-site that is serviced weekly, otherwise this is a pack-in-pack-out site. Located just minutes off Interstate 90 (Exit 278) Old Town River Ranch offers a secluded getaway that’s close to all that Three Forks Montana has to offer, Sacajawea, farmers markets, shopping and Bridger Brewing for concerts and just 30 minutes to Bozeman. Stop by to see our friends at the Old Town Farm Stand just before the entry to our Ranch to get your fresh home baked goods & farm raised produce. Come stay a night, or a few, we think you'll enjoy it. Campsite & Camper Sizes. Campsites #1 #2 & #3 can accommodate large campers (up to 35 feet) with fair amount of room to maneuver. Campsite #4 is limited to Truck Campers, Sprinters or very small towables. Campsites #5 (up to 20ft) and Campsite #6 (up to 25ft) can accommodate mid-sized campers with limited but manageable room to maneuver. Notice. We implemented a comprehensive weed management program so campgrounds should be dramatically improved this year. Believe it or not some people don't know this. This is a campground on a river bottom in Montana. We keep it well but its fairly "raw" here. There can be wildlife - large & small game, maybe a few lost cows at times. There can be bugs - mosquitoes & spiders. There can be weeds. Water levels in the river vary dramatically depending on the time of year - sometimes high & fast other times low & slow. Sometimes it'll be really hot, dry & dusty, other times humid & muddy, maybe even flooded in areas, sometimes it can be cold & icy. If these things concern you it might be best to find an alternative. For everyone else, come on in and enjoy, we welcome you!

We stayed at campsite 1. Very lovely place with 2 relaxing hammocks. Big fireplace with some chairs around it and pretty string lights. Louis the dog came down and spent some quality time with us at campsite and was super chill.

Such a spectacular place to stay!! Just what I needed. Not only is it beautiful on the inside, the bed is INSANELY comfortable (heated blanket was super helpful during a 30 something degree night), and the view in the morning is breathtaking. Pictures don't do it justice. There's everything you need in the tent. I would highly HIGHLY recommend Lynda's property!

I loved staying here. About 1.5 hours south of Missoula in the Bitterroot mountains lies this wonderful camp. It is surrounded by trees, trails, and mountains. Finding it was very easy, checking in was simple and communication was awesome. The photos and small touches of hospitality do not do this space justice. Come for relaxation and amenities, watch the stars at night, and stay warm by the fire. I was blown away and cannot wait to return.

2 nights at Off The Beaten Path Glampground

The dome glamping experience was wonderful! The interior of the bison decor was very cute and the perfect set up for my two gal friends and I. Beautiful view of the plains and river, both from inside the dome and the wooden porch it sits on. The propane heater was much appreciated, and took the chill off inside the dome. Trina was a terrific host, greeting us when we first arrived and showed us to our dome. She made sure we had what we needed, and has done a great job setting up her property. Fantastic getaway for us gals!!

5 nights at Back Of The Moon

This was our 2nd stay at The Back of the Moon. First time we stayed at the Wolf Moon site and this time at Buck Moon. Wolf Moon is a little bigger with a picnic table for hanging out and eating outdoors. Buck Moon is a little smaller but still plenty of space. It is a peaceful spot and sits up on the hill with a filtered view of the pond at the nearby resort. Carolyn is an outstanding host, very helpful and gracious. Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Oxen-Le-Fields Montana

We spent 2 incredible nights at Oxen Le Fields. Lynda greeted us upon arriving and her kind and friendly demeanor set a great tone for the trip. We enjoyed driving up to Sula peak and exploring the Bitterroot Valley. The bed was super comfortable and we had a blast being able to camp comfortably on a cool fall weekend. Our last morning we woke up to beautiful snow covered fields and mountains. It was so cozy in the tent, Lynda made sure we had plenty of firewood and the stove and electric blankets kept us very warm. Would highly recommend staying here!

Camped in spot 3, very beautiful spot! The directions are accurate but finding the pull off was a bit difficult. It is before the bridge; don’t cross the bridge it is behind you. GREAT little spot to stay and the water that runs through makes it a very peaceful area. Highly recommend!

Our little family (2adults, 2 young kids, 2 labradors) absolutely loved Carolyn’s spot, such a great find! We towed our camper up to Wolf Moon and stayed for the Whitefish Trailblazer races in the fall. The property was beautiful and secluded. Tucked into the woods behind the Haymoon resort. The property was easy to find via google maps, and Carolyn was super responsive (even well before we booked!). The site has a 30/20 amp hookup and water available, just brought our hose to hook up & close to a free RV dump in town at the Cenex. Honestly the perfect little weekend, even with the colder weather & rain. Would 100% recommend this spot & Carolyn as a host, she was wonderful!

Amazing site! Very private, pull through that has plenty of woods to block the road (rarely saw any cars). Beautiful spot in the woods with a wonderful fireplace. Close to Chico hot springs but far enough away to think you’re the only ones out in the woods. Would definitely stay here again!
