Loved it, wish we could have stayed longer! I will list some things we didn’t know before we got there that might be helpful for others:
1. In the outhouse by the airstream, the bags you put in the toilet are in a metal cigar box.
2. Outlets aren’t functional, but the lights are- they are powered by a battery pack on the wall inside the airstream in between the chairs to the right of the door.
3. The address on Apple Maps takes you to in between both campsites, but the airstream is first, right down the hill by the small “South Slopes Layla” sign. There are two paths to get down the hill, one is steep and one is not. The only reason we had (brief) trouble finding it was because we arrived after it was completely dark out.

This is such a great spot. Beautiful, secluded, quiet and spacious for our family of 5, dog, truck, and all our bikes.
Loved the little house to sleep in - it made it so much easier!

Coolest lil set up ever and Corey's attention to detail was on point. Firewood and starter made coming into camp later in the evening a breeze. Absolutely loved waking up in the shelter cabin and having a fantastic view. Already planning another trip back and have recommended this camp to friends and family
We had a great time! Unfortunately it was raining the whole time we were there so we didn’t get the full experience although the little cabin was adorable and perfect! The area around the camp site was very pretty and had plenty of space! Directions were very clear as to how to get to it. Overall loved the site, and I’d love to book again when it’s less raining!
This place was amazing and I cannot recommend enough. The renovated airstream was so cool and provided a cozy and clean nights sleep. We particularly loved the fire area with the view. Such a unique and incredible place to stay.

Easily accessible yet remote enough to fully unwind. Thoughtfully built-out airstream with homemade touches and essentials such as a kettle, hot mitts, kindling and wood for the fire pit. Reading my book in the hammock was the highlight of my time, along with listening to the night hawks, pine siskins, ravens, owls, and coyotes!

Great site and we fit 2 cars, an 8 person tent and an additional 3 person tent for a party of 5 very easily. One slept in the bunkhouse on the comfy futon. We saw 2 bears and talked to them till they left, super chill couple and quiet neighbors. We locked food garbage in cars at night. Great hiking/fire trails to explore and find wild mushrooms and wildflowers. There are edible boletes and russulas, and some non edible agaricus around. Fire pit is great and has benches. The outhouse is clean and has trash bags and a set up for disposable waste bags or wag bags from walmart(maybe someone else left them, not the host) and litter bottles. We will be back for another concert stay, and will recommend it to anyone!

The area was really nice. It is overlooking the city of Missoula. I love that they put a small cabin in there with a sofa bed. The foam of the sofa bed was uneven. I think it would be more comfortable if only one person were sleeping in there. Other than that, I enjoyed staying there and would recommend it to other people.

Between the mapping and the directions given, it was easy to get to. I was on a cross country trip and got in at just about midnight on a rainy night, but still had no problem finding it. Nice and private, perfect for my dogs to run around while I set up camp in my truck. About 12 minutes from the freeway, I enjoyed driving just enough off the main road to get to some seclusion.
We loved this peaceful place! The Airstream is beautifully done and very comfortable. We stayed for 3 nights and loved every second of it! We mostly hung out by the outside fireplace soaking up the views and fresh air. Our dogs were in heaven and it was nice they could just hang out and be dogs:)
The location makes you feel like you’re away from it all, yet you’re close enough to Missoula to get anything you need. Corey is a great host and made sure we were comfortable. We definitely feel well rested and restored after our stay. I can’t recommend this place enough, we will be back!

Incredibly beautiful spot to look out at the mountains. The airstream has all the necessities & was very comfortable to sleep in. Would recommend & go back again for sure!
My partner and I had a fantastic experience at this little retreat. The campfire area is cute and well maintained, there was decent star gazing, and the cabin itself is well maintained and very pleasant. We didn't use the shower device at all so I can't speak to that, but otherwise everything was lovely for our little stay as we attended zootown music fest. Corey was also super responsive, had great directions, and I couldn't have asked for a smoother experience.

Nice spot! Quiet and easy to get to. Communication was easy with Corey. We had a fox steal a pair of shoes so just make sure all your stuff is inside your tent or trailer each night.

The whole site is small, built on a road pull off. The land is steep around the site making wandering up the ridge the only option. There is one tent spot set up with a sand base. Out three person tent fit well on it. Their is a table made out of cement. There is an outhouse with a sign that says "LATRINE USE - Install Wag-Bag - Bag up Wag and take with you - Liquids in Latrine is bad form - Pee in the woods ... you are camping". The whole area is smaller than my living room. I would be very packed with six people at the site.
What a beautiful spot! Great views, amazing sunsets. Corey was very friendly, very helpful and accommodating.
The cabin was rustic and comfortable!!

We spent a pleasant two nights at this private, solo, mountain spot overlooking Missoula. Corey was a good host, and the spot was clean and as advertised. It was very difficult to find even for us locals, but that can be easily corrected by better directions and more visible signage. For out-of-Staters wanting to have a Montana experience, the price is probably on point. I think it is pricy for no hookups and a poop-in-a-bag outhouse (it was nice though). Highlight was a beautiful red fox that trotted by, three feet from me, in the peaceful early morning.
As for directions, the main road up the mountain is easy to find, but the turnoff onto Corey's land is not. There is a sign with the number, but it is high up on a tree, obscured by branches from the road. Once you find that, the turn off to the site is marked by a very small (5" x5") metal sign with faded sharpie markings. Totally missed it and turning around is not easy. I can't remember if Hipcamp lets me post photos, but if so, I will show where to turn and it will be much easier to find.

This site was great. The views are amazing, it has a great fire pit set up. You can walk around up some trails just for fun. It felt private and away from everyone. We had a great weekend of laying around doing nothing but relaxing under the stars. We got a little lost getting there but the host helped us find our way. We also assumed when it said toilet available it was a port a potty or something similar but it is just an out house with bags for poo and pee in the woods :) complete fine, but wish we would have known going in. We had a great time and hope to go back!
Very quiet and quaint. I enjoyed the experience. It was a rustic cabin for sure but it worked just fine for us!

We loved camping on Corey’s land! The fire pit was a very nice feature. There was plenty of firewood and a simple yet clean outhouse. Besides for a little daytime traffic, it was super quiet. We were able to easily fit 2 tents with enough room for 2 cars. I definitely recommend the site for anyone who wants to get away from the city.
So beautiful! The cabin is a tight fit with the bed laid out, but it's clean and comfy. The site has plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the views of the valley & walking trails. The road in is nicely maintained and easy to reach. A few minor repairs to the screen door on the cabin; and the broken window and sticky door handle on the outhouse, would made it great. The outdoor shower wasn't set up, so having that ready would also be good. We were there during fire season, so no fires for us, but there is an awesome firepit area. If you are looking for an outdoor experience this is the place!

This Camp Triple Jay Hipcamp is a special place for certain! If you prefer a quiet, private “room with a view” at the end of the road and amidst the forest this is for you! I loved the charm and quality of the wag-bag outhouse! The hike up for the broader view was maybe 50 yards. Hiking down the road is also an option. Traffic below on the gravel road is far enough away to just hear the passing of a car and close enough to not feel that you’re camping in the middle of nowhere. Houses within a reasonable distance but not within view. Traveling solo this was a comfort to me for safety. The fire pit area was welcoming, had a supply of wood available, and was well maintained. I’d stay here again for certain!
