Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

At our rustic and historic homestead you'll find a quiet "Boondocking" camp site. Our home borders National Forest and the Bob Marshal Wilderness Area. We are only a few minutes drive to the west entrance to Glacier National Park, the Hungry Horse Reservoir and Desert Mountain Recreation Area. Our site is self-sufficient and offers big-sky mountain views that are ideal for stargazers and those just looking to be away from the crowds while visiting the Glacier National Park area. You’ll likely be visited by whitetail deer and our resident elk herd during the summer months. You'll need to be self-contained. Generators are ok between 9.am and 9pm. Propane fire pits are ok when fire restrictions permit.

Located at the far corner of our lower pasture, this boondocking site has a lovely view of Columbia Mountain. All guests must provide their own restroom. Propane fire pits are allowed. No pets. Located just a few miles from Glacier National Park, The Flathead River and Hungry Horse Reservoir.

Nice level, quiet grassy spot tucked nicely within some trees. The host’s house is within view but still felt private and scenic. Easy in and out of property. Considerate host.

We had an amazing stay. The views were beautiful and the site peaceful. The host was very helpful and quick to respond or help. Super close to the west entrance to Glacier National Park!

Great little spot

This was a great little nook for our base camp close to Glacier National Park for our daily excursions. The host (Danny) very friendly and inviting and the spot is very quiet, dark and private. We found it perfect and would come back again if in this area.
