Absolutely loved my stay in this adorable little A-frame! As a solo female traveler, I felt comfortable and relatively safe. It feels like you're tucked deep into the Montana Rockies, yet you're only about five minutes from the interstate, which gave me some peace of mind. I downloaded the directions ahead of time due to limited cell service and had no trouble finding it, though I was very glad to have AWD for the last stretch!
I was awestruck when I pulled up. The cabin is adorable and the mountain backdrop is absolutely stunning. The outdoor kitchen, shower, and toilet are just a short walk up the path, and thoughtful touches like tea, books, and games made it feel especially cozy.
A huge highlight was kayaking the Missouri River. As a solo traveler, the logistics would have been difficult, but Ben went above and beyond to help load the kayak and coordinate a ride for me. The river was incredibly peaceful and beautiful, and I even saw several bald eagles!
Thank you, Kate and Ben, for being so friendly, accommodating, and hospitable. I can't wait to come back with my husband for a romantic getaway in this beautiful little piece of Montana!

We had a great time staying at this mini a frame!! We got there in the dark so it was a little scary at first but maps took us right there and the second we stepped inside we were immediately comforted by how cute and homey it was. The shower was perfect and the outhouse was the nicest one we have ever been in! Waking up to the beautiful views was the cherry on top!! Highly recommend!

This place is the best! Area is gorgeous, A-frame is set up so well, and the hosts are lovely! You’ll have everything you need, and if you don’t, then the hosts are very responsive and willing to help out. 10/10 stay!

Extremely easy to find, instructions were concise and accurate! The area was enjoyable though I was only staying for a night on a longer trip. Would absolutely stay here again.

This was on of the best stays I’ve had anywhere. The location is BEAUTIFUL, the host were some of the sweetest people we even had dinner with them and their family, and right across the street was the perfect stream to go swim at. 1000/10 recommend!!!!
Such a beautiful campsite! Very private, outhouse and outdoor shower with warm water was a nice touch:)

Perfect oasis in Montana
Fantastic hosts and property. Very secluded but quick access to main road. Super nice hosts who maintain everything well. Shower was hot and everything was clean and well thought out.

Kate was very nice. She brought us directly to the tent site and showed us amenities at our disposal. The site was beautiful, the location was secluded but only 1/4 mile to I-15. It's was very close to the Missouri River. A couple of good restaurants not too far. We took a hike to the top. It was challenging but worth it. Nice to have a bathroom, shower and cooking spot walking distance to the site. Thank you for sharing your property and wish you the best.
We had a amazing time staying at the a frame, everything was perfect! The view and surroundings cant be beat. My wife used the shower and was impressed. I highly recommend staying a night or two here.

Was really good as there was no internet, were all by yourself and the scenery was beautiful.

Staying at the A-frame was the best part of our 2 week honeymoon (so far). It is incredibly quiet and peaceful. You can hike up some of the surrounding hills/mountains and get a great view of the Missouri River. The A-frame itself was amazing and very cozy. The hosts made sure to have some necessities available for use. The outhouse and shower were awesome and very clean. Would recommend this spot to anyone, and we would love to come back ourselves.

Great secluded spot up a small side canyon.
Brand new pit toilet and shower. Great directions and easy to find. Nice flat pull through for our pop up truck camper, and another vehicle and tent. Would definitely use this spot again . Close to fishing access on Missouri. A frame was also occupied so we did not get to go up and see it. Looked really cute from our site.

Better than any campground you can find! This little valley surrounded by mountains was incredible! The hosts were very nice and communicative.
We stayed in our campervan and it was stunning to wake up to that scenery surrounding us! A little bit of a rough road for a short distance, but we made it up just fine.
The hot shower was an extra added bonus and we even saw a few mule deers during our stay.

Beautiful location. But no host available. Directions say to stop at a location where someone will direct you to the location. However no one was there and it was not clear where tent sight was. I ended up just picking a random place. Never saw another person.

Great spot, exactly as described. Private, quiet, beautiful. Instructions were incredibly specific and helpful. Will absolutely book again if I'm headed back in this direction.
Secluded canyon stay near beautiful Cascade, MT. The scenery was amazing and we really enjoyed our stay at the mini A-frame.
Absolutely beautiful property. Thoughtful accommodations(games, solar powered flashlight/radio, books, hiking poles). Truly a wonderful experience. We didn’t encounter any bears but we did get to see a few deer. I recommend getting there during the light hours so you can find your way. Easy to follow instruction. Hosts are responsive and welcoming. Propane fire pit was a nice bonus. Our indoor heater was out of propane but we were comfortable. Bathroom and shower are down a little ways from the a-frame but not a bad walk. Definitely set up for a camper ready for a little glamp :)

Great little site to sleep and regroup along the way.
What a wonderful spot in the world. Just outside cell reception is a little piece of heaven! Thank you so much for sharing it with us. As a couples weekend away, this was perfect. We will be back again.

Kate and Ben's A-frame was awesome. Just a few minutes from the highway, but still very secluded. No other buildings or anything around. The cabin was super cute and cozy. And with the side open, there's a great view of the canyon during the day and the stars at night. Highly recommend!
An exceptional place to set up camp. The campsite, both tent and A frame, sit in a small valley between two mountain sides. You get excellent views all around, there was no pest bugs like mosquitoes, and there is plenty of opportunity for hiking on the property, though trails are still a work in progress. The bathroom and shower are clean, and Kate and Ben were excellent hosts. No signal, but that can be a bonus depending on how you look at it. Overall, sincerely recommend giving this campsite a stay

What a perfect getaway spot. This cabin is nestled amidst hills and forest and is such a peaceful retreat from the world. The cabin has everything that you need to just unplug and the shower is amazing! A vehicle with clearance is a must to climb the last part of the drive, especially if it has been raining. I will definitely return!
