Hilltop Camp near Hauser Lake sits on 20 acres in the Helena Valley, surrounded by four lakes and open views of Hauser Lake and several mountain ranges. Three sites on a gentle hill with views all around. A genuine working farm: horses, chickens, roosters, guinea fowl, and a Hereford steer. Talk to Granny Julie about the animals. Nine miles from Helena. A mile and a half from Lakeside, where you'll find a gas station, convenience store, boat launches, and a good bar and restaurant. Easy access to Helena National Forest and York beyond that. A solid basecamp or a straightforward overnight when you just need a good night's rest. Hosts live on the property. Children visit Granny regularly and there are animals around - please drive slowly on the property. The animals do make noise so please be aware of that when booking.

100%
(3)
RV/tent site · Sleeps 6 · Vehicles under 30 ft
Upper Hill Campsite - Site #2 - Drive up the hill, take the first right at the top. Sitting at the highest point on the property, this dry camping site has open views in every direction and easy access to the portable toilet and trash bins. Sites follow the natural slope of the hill — not level, but manageable for most setups. RV and trailer guests should come prepared with leveling blocks. Tent campers generally have no trouble finding a comfortable spot. What's here: a picnic table, room to stretch out, and some of the best views on the property. A few things to know before you book: Water — Potable water is available on site but cannot be connected to directly. It's fine for showering and animals, but not for drinking and cooking. Winter stays (October 1 – May 1) — We're open year-round, but water and toilet facilities are unavailable in the colder months. Winter guests need to be fully self-contained. Toilets — A portable toilet is on site during the warmer months, conveniently close to this site. No flush toilets on the property. Trash — Bins are placed around the property for your use. There is overflow parking just down the hill from this site. Questions? Just ask — we're happy to help you figure out if this site is the right fit for your setup.
