The tent was amazing! It was the perfect mix of wilderness and comfort. I had my 4 yr old daughter and we had a blast. Endless rocks and boulders to climb on and plenty of privacy. We heard an elk bugling on the second the morning as well, creating quite the experience.
We also took a quick drive to the Hardware Cafe just a few miles down the road for some comfort food.
We will definitely be staying again next year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jamie’s Elkhorn tent. She has curated the space beautifully and thought of every little detail. The property is beautiful and close to Helena. We got the mountain camping experience without having to drive far. Thank you for you hospitality!

We wanted to go somewhere, but had to be super close to home. Enter an Elkhorn Mountain adventure, just 20 minutes from our door in Helena, down the highway to Clancy to the Homestead Camp.
We love camping ⛺️ and yet I didn’t feel up to all of the work required. And I’m really very extremely tired and wanted to sleep well.
I found this gorgeous getaway on Hip-camp and with the hard work done, all I had to do was eat, drink, read, and sleep. And boy, did I sleep! Multiple times a day even!
We watched clouds rolls by until the sky darkened and it was the stars’ turn. ✨ We fell asleep to rain drops kissing the canvas and woke to the rattle of thunder of deep in the mountains. ⛰️

We loved our stay at the Casey tent! Super cute and unique stay. The land it is on is beautiful and it is not far from Helena which was nice. We stayed one night but wish it was a couple more. I will say, don’t take the warning for the two track road lightly. Our minivan didn’t make it the whole one mile to the tent (we didn’t know what to expect for the drive on the property)

Absolutely loved this campsite! It really couldn't be a more perfect set-up with all necessities, hiking trails near campsites, private yet easy to access and a short drive to Helena, plus a great spot to stay with pets! Such a beautiful location & the sunsets in the evening are 5 star rating, if you're looking for a place to relax and unwind it doesn't get any better than this. I would definitely stay again and I would recommend Jamie's campsite to anyone looking a place to stay in the area.

We loved it! Such a beautiful place. It feels so remote but you are actually close to town. The tent was cozy and it had everything we needed at the site. Would love to stay again.

Beautiful place! The cabin is very cozy and comfortable. Bed was great. The views are amazing and the whole area was great. Jamie is very kind and easy to communicate with. Will definitely stay again!

Our time at The Casey tent was so peaceful and lovely. The pups enjoyed having space to run around and the views were beautiful. There was plenty of space to roam and explore if you desired but we really just settled in each night and took in the serenity. The furnishings inside the tent were very cozy and there were lots of blankets provided to stay warm! We stayed for two nights and had enough water for two humans and two pups but I’d recommend bringing more if you have a longer stay planned. We didn't have access to a power station but thankfully brought one along to charge phone & power our twinkle lights. Ideal distance from Helena if you are looking to explore the capital!

This place is great. Very private and beautiful setting but only 10 min drive to downtown Helena. Was perfect for me and my 9 and 11 year old sons.

The Casey tent was absolutely amazing! Super secluded and cozy, not too far from the city and not too close to it. My husband and I absolutely loved how cozy and warm it was. Definitely recommend 🥰

The Casey Tent
This site is the reason I love Hipcamp. It was luxurious and comfortable but felt like camping being tucked away. It had the perfect touches for an enjoyable stay. Really appreciated the zipper screen door to help with flys and bugs. And you can't beat that view from the tent. We slept so comfortably on the bed. It was like sleeping in a picture from a magazine.

An absolute GEM of a location!!! Completely private location with amazing views. The tent is a completely glam experience with a lovely comfortable bed. The host had fresh flowers, a water container and a propane fire pit ready for our arrival (no fires on our visit though). There is a porta-potty on site as well. The drive in is on a path through pasture and up to the top of the hill. Just loved this spot.
