1 tent site
A 154 acre working ranch that has been operating over 100 years, situated in a wildlife corridor joining the Mission Mountain wilderness with the Flathead River and Bison Range. The camping site is located along 300 feet of the Mission Creek with scattered 100 year old pine trees. A nature walk to 3 walking bridges, with spectacular mountain views, an old cedar grove and a bald eagle nest is available. Access to the creek is possible from the camp site, although some areas of the ranch are off-limits due to ranch operation and private dwellings.Pitch your tent in one of 4 sites with fire ring, picnic table alongside our beautiful and peaceful creek and pine woodland forest. Each site has its own unique feature ranging from more secluded to open camping.
The area is home to bears and other wildlife who pass through the animal corridor which makes for a unique experience. A walking trail is being developed including a bridge and old cedar grove and eagle nest with incredible views of the surrounding Mission Mountains.
The area is situated on a 100 year old working ranch with the barn and corrals, and the main house 3 minutes away, and may have miniature cows and goats grazing nearby. We do have working border collies and free ranging chickens.
Pets are welcome, and can be off lease as long as they are well behaved and do not harass nearby livestock or dogs. We have some farm produce available including eggs and vegetables depending on season. Due to Summer fire risks, seasonal fire restrictions may apply.
