Our rates are a fraction of what local RV parks charge, and we offer great value with real country charm. This is our home, not a commercial campground—so while we take pride in our space, we keep it simple and genuine.
What to Expect
- Country landscaping with native plants and pollinator-friendly “weeds.” Goathead stickers are common in rural Idaho.
- Shaded areas, open skies, and seasonal views of horses grazing.
- Yardwork happens around our schedules and between guests.
Garden & Fruit
From July to October, guests may enjoy cherries, raspberries, apricots, peaches, plums, pears, and apples—depending on weather and timing. Just ask before picking, as not all fruit may be ripe or reachable.
RV Site Options
- Site 1: Full hookup with 50amp (30amp converter available) and water.
- Site 2: Covered RV Bay with 30amp and water—fits big rigs and slide-outs.
All sites are back-in only—please plan accordingly.

On6acres is a lost piece of private ground in the Snake River Canyon only 10 minutes from boat launches and hot spring baths in the Thousand Springs area. A 6.5 acre sloping desert with canyon views, ponds, native plants and trees. Including turkeys, deer, eagles, hawks, fish, rabbits, lizards, otters, and many other wild animals.
**This is a natural, untouched, raw property. ******Please set your expectations correctly. Right now the experience is much closer to actual camping experience rather than a commercial campground but with the benefit of only being 10 minutes from the river in one direction and 10 minutes from town in the other direction. Come stargaze with very little light pollution and enjoy the quiet nature around. There are no amenities other than 3 designated/private spaces to pitch a tent or pick-up/van campers and a professionally maintained outhouse. Respect the property, and the wildlife and ecosystem it supports. We are happy to share the space while we continue to grow and develop this awesome piece of ground.

Our property is 4 miles from BLM, 5 miles from the Mammoth caves and 10 miles from the Ice Caves. You may be greeted by horses, cattle or dogs on our property, and it's quite possible that you will encounter snakes 🐍 and hear coyotes at night (light sleepers take this into account). We do not have designated areas but, please don’t block the turn around area to the far south, please park wherever you desire, walk your route as this virgin ground has many rocks. 🪨 If leveling is an issue & you need to block the road, let’s verify we have no other campers coming.
There is a runoff river that runs through the property in the early spring but, rarely has water, however, it has amazing lava rock (similar to Black Magic Canyon which isn’t far away); We also like to use it for campfires! Do not drive into the river bottom unless you have 4WD.

We raise Wagyu beef & offer liver dog treats, sourdough bread, we often have dozens of eggs on hand from a local chicken farmer and I make tallow lotion with a dear friend! Nearly every day of the year you can watch the BASE jumpers from the Perrine bridge, one of the only legal places in the country. You name it, you can do it here. We're only a few hours from Yellowstone National Park and historic Sun Valley is 90 mins north or the famous City of Rocks rock climbing area can be found south of here.About 45 minutes to an hour north of here is Craters of the Moon National Monument for some excellent caving hiking and exploring.We use this area for storing vehicles or riding toys so please be respectful of our homes and the neighbors.

The view from the site is spectacular! While I wish there would be something at least partially blocking the site from the back of the house to give it a little more privacy, it was very peaceful and so quiet that you could hear coyotes in the bottom of the canyon.

Had to change plans for the weekend because of weather at our initial spot we were heading to. Thankfully Brittany was willing to take us in last minute, and I mean it, I set up everything about an hour before we got into town. Everyone we met in her family was super nice and accommodating, especially Brittany. She was always quick to respond and attentive to things. Even was willing to have us follow her into the property which helped since we were on motorcycles for our trip. They have a lot of add on options available and the things like the beef and the sourdough are definitely worth it. We got eggs too and between the three things that was our dinner that night and we couldn’t have felt like we had a better meal. I will be coming back here for sure, and if you’re reading this then you should too!

Wow! A stunning view and perfect restful spot! Brett’s canyon-side location is spacious yet cozy, well-graded and level. Finding the location was easy, convenient to I-84 but still had an isolated feel. I felt very safe here yet appreciative of the adventurous feel the sight gave me. I will be back!!

we stayed here for the second time in about 10 days (on each end of our xmas road trip). joshua was a wonderful host. he made sure everything was ready for us, the lights were on and pellet stove was on so it was nice and warm when we arrived. the first time we stayed, we arrived on xmas night and there was event a little xmas tree out front lit up which was a cute touch and the kids enjoyed it, even though we were all tired by the time we got there. there was plenty of room for our family. the yurt is pretty spacious and very clean and modern. the kids enjoyed the tiered bunkbed and hot coco in the keurig. we had everything we needed to make food and enjoy respite on our journey. joshua is a very thoughtful and responsive host. we will definitely stay here again when we pass through the area.

The dogs in the area were barking throughout the night, so we did have to use the earplugs provided (thank you!). I will probably use a noise machine next time. Other than that, this place is fabulous and the hosts are very thoughtful and kind.

A great stop! Marni was so friendly and helpful with directions. There’s an adorable cat who will try to be your best friend. All-in-all, the place is nice, not too close to the main house, and all the amenities were as described.
