Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.

Our ranch is situated 6 miles from Craters of the Moon and is a working ranch. We have 3 separate options to stay: a beautiful pair of Champagne Creek Yurts tucked in their own aspen grove, a Cozy Craters Tiny House in its own canyon, and Craters of the Moon RV pull through sites at the base of the ranch. Embrace the night as part of the International Dark Sky landscape! You are surrounded by the natural beauty of the Pioneer Mountains overlooking Craters of the Moon. Keep your eyes peeled for elk, deer, antelope, moose, coyotes, and sage grouse! We have working cowdogs, so we ask that you not pet the dogs! Also, please leave gates as you found them! You lose cell service for a few miles as you approach the ranch, however RV sites and Tiny House have dedicated internet service.

We have 9 dispersed, pull through RV sites to choose from. The sites are not numbered, and will be first come, first serve. Western views of the Pioneer Mountains, Eastern views of Craters of the Moon. The 40 foot RV pads are Craters gravel! There are no connections, and you will need to be self contained. We do not allow open flame fires, but you are welcome to bring a propane powered fire pit. Dogs are welcome on leash only. Please pick up after your pet.

Champagne Creek Yurts

This booking is for both the Champagne Creek Yurts. They are connected by a spacious deck and all of this is nestled in a huge quaking aspen forest. There is a fire pit available, but please check if there are any fire watches before building a fire! This part of Idaho can dry out fast in the summertime! Our two Champagne Creek Yurts are right off a county road, yet very private. They are only 10 minutes from Craters of the Moon! Bring your own sleeping bags and snuggle down in The Hemingway Yurt. We offer four beds with twin mattresses and one queen. The Champagne Yurt is dedicated to rustic kitchen use- including a prep area, propane stove, and family table. "Rustic" means no power nor running water, but we provide lanterns and water in coolers. There is a separate restroom. This is the most unique night around! The space Champagne Creek Yurts are a wonderful spot to unwind in rustic style. The Hemingway Yurt is carpeted and includes 5 beds with mattresses, shelves, and a library of books! You do need to bring your own sleeping bags! The Champagne Yurt includes workspace, basic kitchen necessities, a propane stove, and family table. The restroom has a separate and clean toilet! We provide water, towels, and lanterns for your stay. This is the ideal headquarters to explore the Pioneer Mountains and enjoy yurting in style!

This Cozy Craters Tiny House is situated 6 miles from Craters of the Moon on a working ranch. Enjoy the solitude of your own space in your own canyon. Embrace the night as part of the International Dark Sky landscape! You are surrounded by the natural beauty of the Pioneer Mountains overlooking Craters of the Moon. Enjoy our Starlink WIFI while you keep your eyes peeled for elk, deer, antelope, and sage grouse! This unique space is a private tiny home with an expansive view. The space Our Tiny House features a comfy queen bed with mattress topper. The recliner folds out as a single bed and there is also a self inflating twin air mattress available. Guest access Our Cozy Craters Tiny House is located on a working family ranch, so you may see a field of baby calves on your drive in! Other things to note **We are mapped incorrectly on Google maps! Please follow the written directions to the tiny house! **This is located on a working ranch. We ask that you do not pet the dogs! Also, leave gates as you found them! **You lose cell service for a few miles as you approach the ranch. never fear though, we have a Starlink WIFI connection waiting for you at the Tiny House!
