Weekend Trip to Teton Views

Communication with the host was easy and the glamper was more than I expected super clean and the bed is amazingly comfortable! It was very quiet and you can hear the seasonal stream. Will visit again.

Serene. Picturesque. Friendly - treats you like family. My 2-night stay was exactly what I needed. Unique weekend where I participated in the Grand Teton Half Marathon, and I was traveling alone (50+, male), and using my tent-attached-to-my-Jeep. Heather graciously (1) allowed me a flexible departure time that we discussed upfront, (2) worked proactively to provide me with the amenities I requested - water, electricity, wifi, wood, and (3) asked fory honest feedback on how she could have made my stay better. Being new to this business endeavor, Heather wants to provide the services that customers are asking for. Heather is 5-stars from me. My only suggestions, aimed at helping her business become a desired destination, are as follows: (1) Setup a fixed water spigot and electric outlet at the site where you want tent campers to stay (less work for Heather, more ease-of-use for the customers who request these amenities. (2) guest outhouse or equivalent. A single male have very different requirements than the various other guest combinations that could be encountered. Views are tough to beat. Quiet time by the fire pit are valuable. Wifi is a great touch. I was able to work remotely without interruption. Thank you Heather, for such an easy stay.

Lovely shaded campsite with great views over the farmland with hills behind. Really peaceful and relaxing. Trees provided some good bird life. All amenities provided and fresh eggs brought to us. Great stopover on our way to Oregon. Highly recommend.

4 nights at The Park at Swan Valley

Beautiful location and scenery. A little far from the Tetons but we still drove I. 2 days. The tiny cabin was adorable lots of room, good bed and nice bath. The only issue was the lack of hot water.

1 night at Mini Acres Farm

It was perfect and was as listed. Very easy to find. We got to camp in the middle of the day and the shade from the trees was wonderful. Yummy fresh eggs! We would suggest renting if in the area.

3 nights at The Park at Swan Valley

Bryce and Nellie have a beautiful property! I used it as my base for exploring the Tetons and Yellowstone. It is a little distant from those parks but it’s far more peaceful than closer alternatives and offers a respite from the crowds in Jackson!

2 nights at Wolf Lodge Campground

Wolf Lodge was a very central location and a nice RV park. We had a couple hiccups at first (the grass around the cabin had not been mowed for quite a while) but the management team stepped up and took care of our concerns quickly. The only criticisms were the floor of the cabin could’ve been cleaner, and there were a lot of dead bugs inside but everything else seemed clean and it was comfortable once we got everything plugged in. There’s no shower in the cabin, but the camp showers are very clean and nice. Overall, I’d recommend if you’re looking for a rustic campground experience!

2 nights at The Park at Swan Valley

We stayed here two nights & could have stayed more! It was a beautiful setting in a large field surrounded by mountains. We set up our tent in the grass and it was a level space. There was only one other tent, so we had lots of privacy. There is a full kitchen and comfortable community room that we took full advantage of. Hosts were nice, check in was easy, and it was a great place for our pup to play. (If we went far enough afield, we were able to toss her ball off leash.) There is no shade, but we were out exploring all day, so that was no problem. Also, there is a quarry nearby, so during the day trucks drove down the gravel road. The night sky was stunning. We would definitely stay here again.

Check-in was easy, even though we arrived late. The sites were easy to access and the bathrooms were terrific!! It is a beautiful place and I would definitely stay again!

What a gem this is! Just starting, but have some great plans! The view. Just WOW! Super dog friendly! The best part may be the history of the cabin. A really great story and a lovely cabin on property. Heather and Mom were just so nice and welcoming! Really enjoyed meeting them!

We had a great stay at The Camp at Swan Valley! The full hookup RV site was easy to access and had everything we needed. The location is beautiful with wide-open views of the mountains and made a great home base for a day trip to Jackson and the Tetons. It was quiet and family-friendly during our stay, with just a few other campers around. The hosts were super welcoming—greeting us when we arrived and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, which we really appreciated. The lodge area was a nice bonus with clean bathhouse facilities, plenty of seating, and a few kid-friendly activities. Our kids especially loved the small playset—it’s always a win when they’re entertained! We’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a peaceful, scenic spot with a personal touch.

This is a lovely spot on a small farm. Shaded & quiet, with interesting rivers nearby. Appreciated the electric & water hookups. Fun to watch the California quail wandering about.

We are currently planning/building another shower/restroom house and a laundry mat. There is a fee dump station on site. With over ten acres of property to play at and stroll, your stay will be one of fun, peace and quiet. Our RV & Camp is fun! We have our famous Borrow Barn with loads of complementary activities including a 9 hole disc golf course with maps/disc/scorecards, free pedal boats, Little Free Library #69967, volleyball, tetherball, badminton, board games and more, plus our cruiser bicycles in our Bike Corral are for guests to enjoy on property also. Children must be watched always and very closely-- enjoy being with your children on the property. A beautiful Restroom and Shower House is fee free. We are located in the Heise-Kelly Canyon of southeast Idaho with fabulous sunrises and sunsets. We are very close to hiking, hot springs, rapelling, 200+ miles of ATV and SxS trails, golf, mini-golf, a driving range, skiing, ice cream parlor and two restaurants, and the mighty Snake River corridor right across the road. 90 minutes to the east to Jackson/GTNP/then South Gate in YNP (2 routes-- the mountain pass or the easy Snake River route), and 90 minutes to the north to West Yellowstone/Yellowstone West Gate (2 steep mountain passes). Both routes are beautiful with waterfalls, gorgeous mountain views, and Idaho countryside. We are 20 minutes from Bear World in Rexburg, and less than two hours from Grand Teton Park and Yellowstone National Park regardless of which of the four routes that you take, with each route including a beautiful waterfall. 90 minutes to the east to Jackson/GTNP/then South Gate in YNP (2 routes-- the mountain pass or the easy Snake River route), and 90 minutes to the north to West Yellowstone/Yellowstone West Gate (2 steep mountain passes). Both routes are beautiful with waterfalls, gorgeous mountain views, and Idaho countryside.

This property was and is an organic permaculture farm in the forest. There are two orchards and an organic garden. The water is from a spring. The La Luna cabin is off-grid with an option to plugin if needed. Hot Showers at my cabins are private and outdoors. There's nothing more wonderful than a hot spring-fed shower. The toilets are composting. (No water is wasted here)! Two of the cabins were built from the trees on the property by the first family that lived here in the earlier 1900s. The Birds Nest cabin was originally a tool shed that needed a LOT of Love to be in the condition that it is today. It does have power, running water and wi-fi. There is the option to take an acrylic painting class, banjo, guitar or fiddle lessons, paddleboard lessons, and have a real old-timey campfire with a glass of wine or two with live music performed by our famous Fiddlin Red on the fiddle, banjo, and guitar. Your experience here may change your life forever! We haven't added all the experiential options yet, so if there is something you are interested in please inquire. Every year we make it more and more magical and interesting. It's four miles up a county-maintained dirt road and one mile to a non-motorized lake. I can't see my neighbors, but they are awesome artists and musicians and some of them are off the grid! If you're bringing a pet, they must be on a leash and be quiet pets. If you are bringing a child they also need to be quiet and respectful. I want to keep my neighbors and my other guests happy with a peaceful atmosphere. Thank you!

Bristol is bordered by the Portneuf River to the North and Mt Moh to the South, offering river access and a host of trails. Fishing in the river is great, boasting rainbow, cut throat, brook and brown trout. There's also a few great swimming holes right below the property, including a 15 ft. waterfall. Guests may hike trails to the old mines, or be directed to a plethora of trails for biking nearby. The setting at Bristol is uniquely peaceful for the busy tourist town of Lava Hot Springs. Although still technically within city limits, the place offers an atmosphere of it's own, seemingly outside of time. Once a miners camp and stage coach stop along the Oregon Trail, we have worked hard to maintain the buildings and grounds. With an abundance of trees, (bonus if you can name all varieties) the main compound is well shaded through the hot summer months. Our single room, quaint cabins have a shared bathroom with showers and towels available. We are a minutes walk from the hot springs and downtown, so no need to fight for a parking spot!
