Enjoy 16 acres of trees with a pond and a variety of wildlife. Wander the property and you can expect to see deer, elk, an occasional moose, dozens of turkey, quail, grouse, snowshoe hare, and a trio of domestic chickens who have made Little Hawk Landing their favorite hangout. The 300 sq ft cabin is fully stocked and can be set up with a king bed or two twins - please specify your choice at registration or send me a quick message - and there is also a pullout twin sleeper sofa bed. We provide free Wi-Fi and there is a TV with a DVD/Blue-ray player and a wide assortment of movies. All firewood for the woodburning stove is provided. During the warmer months, make use of our kayaks at the pond, or enjoy an evening under the stars by a campfire. Little Hawk Landing is minutes away from prime hunting, fishing, hiking, boating, and snowmobiling locations. The town of Deary is five miles away with a grocery store, gas stations, two coffee shops, a bakery, wine bar, and several restaurants. We are 45 minutes from the University of Idaho, and an hour from Washington State University and Lewis-Clark State College.

Enjoy the convenience of full RV hookups in the natural beauty at Little Hawk Landing. These 16 wooded acres are in the middle of prime hiking, fishing, hunting, and ATV/snowmobiling locations, and only 5 miles from Deary, Idaho, which has groceries, gas, and restaurants. Site B is an easy pull-through spot that can accommodate a large camper with slide-outs. There is plenty of room to park trailers/toy haulers.

Site C is on a gravel pad close to the pond. This site is only available from April 15 to September 30. It is ideal for smaller trailers (under 30 ft), and it has no hookups. Generators are allowed at this site. There is access to potable water and a trash container. This site has a fire pit/ring, and fire wood is provided.

This newly built 300 sq ft cabin is surrounded by trees and wildlife, and has everything you need including a washer/dryer, electric heat and a wood-burning stove, a patio BBQ grill, and plenty of parking for ATVs or toy haulers. We provide free Wi-Fi and a TV with DVD/Blu-ray player and an assortment of movies. The kitchenette has a two-burner hotplate, toaster oven/air fryer, microwave, coffee pot, electric kettle, Crock-pot, toaster, minifridge/freezer, and all dishes and cooking utensils. Basic seasonings, cooking oil, ground coffee, etc. are also provided. The bathroom is stocked with 100% cotton towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soap, a hair dryer, and laundry soap. It sleeps three adults with either a king bed or two twin beds - please indicate your choice at registration or send me a quick message. There is also a twin pull-out sofa bed. All bedding, linens, blankets, and pillows are provided.

The Duck - Camper

The Duck is a fully stocked 21-foot 2000 Mallard camper on 16 acres of private timber and a 1/4 acre pond outside Deary, Idaho. Perfect for two adults for hunting camp or ideal for a family with small children wanting the camping experience without the hassle and expense of owing an RV. It features two RV-sized full (48x75) beds and a bunkbed for kids under 120 lbs. Full hookups (gas, electric, water, sewer) with a bathroom/shower, 3-burner gas stove/oven, coffee maker, TV/DVD player, and cassette/aux stereo. A gas BBQ grill, picnic table, and fire ring and firewood for an evening campfire are provided. Enjoy a tranquil, natural atmosphere close to prime hunting and outdoor activities with the comfort of both heating and AC to keep the space just right. Whether you’re unwinding inside or exploring nearby, this excellent spot offers a peaceful retreat. We're happy to assist with any questions while you stay at Little Hawk Landing in The Duck.

Easy in and out with my travel trailer. Level parking with full hook up’s. The land has a cool pond with a sand area. Also there’s sand toys for kids. Chris was super nice, he told my dog could go swimming in the pond. I had to tell him that my dog (being a Lab) found the pond 5 minutes after I parked. If ever I’m in the area again, I will most definitely stay again.

We had a great stay here with our camper last weekend. We stayed in Site B, one of the two full-hookup RV sites on the property. The sites are separated by a patch of trees, which provides plenty of privacy and space so you don't feel crowded. Site B also faces the cabin, but we still felt like we had our own area. The sites were very large and made it very easy to maneuver a camper. The owners have clearly put a lot of time and effort into the property, with thoughtful landscaping and nice touches throughout. The pond even has a sandy area that was brought in, creating a pleasant spot to relax by the water. While swimming in the pond wasn't something we chose to do, others may enjoy it, and it would likely be great for dogs. The campground had everything we needed and more, and the owners were very responsive whenever we had questions. If you're looking for a clean, well-maintained campground with full hookups and a peaceful atmosphere, I would highly recommend staying here.

Site A - Full Hookup RV Site
Little Hawk Landing is a great camping spot. It is perfectly situated, so that hiking, biking and kayaking are all within 20-30 minutes. The town of Deary is 5-10 minutes away. The site is on a dirt road off hwy 9 and there is a minimal amount of traffic as neighbors go by, but it was definitely quiet and private. The site was clean, level and easy to get into and out of. Chris was extremely responsive any time I had a question. She did stop by to check on us, but left us to ourselves. We had no doubt she'd have been right there had we had a problem, but everything was in perfect order. She even left us a stack of firewood and a firepit to burn it in! I highly recommend Little Hawk Landing.
