Welcome to Wheat & Beans, a charming farmhouse property constructed in 1900. Situated close to town yet nestled in a tranquil setting, this property offers a serene getaway for your vacation. As you explore the surroundings, you'll be captivated by the breathtaking views of Moscow Mountain to the East and stunning sunsets to the West. The property is enveloped by picturesque farmland, featuring lush fields of Wheat, Canola and Garbanzo Beans, creating a scenic backdrop that truly embodies the essence of rural living. We offer two RV spaces. To ensure your comfort and convenience during your stay, we provide essential amenities such as water, 30 amp at Grain Bin WEST, 50 amp service at Grain Bin RV, water and a dump station located at each parking area. Whether you're seeking a serene retreat or an opportunity to experience rural farm life, our RV parking offers a delightful blend of comfort, and natural beauty. Our property is a work in progress as we tame the plot of land and update 1900 farmhouse. We are learning as we get to know the rhythm of the Palouse and the surrounding farmland. The RV plot is tucked under the trees next to the grain bins. Watch the sunrise over Moscow Mountain and take in the sunsets over the western rolling hills. It's wide open out here, with plenty of room to breathe. There is another site (Grain Bin West) on the west side of the trees and grain bins. This area site will have much more availability this year. 50 amp service at the site. Bring an adaptor if you need 30amp or 110v service. 4” threaded dump station at the site Water at site We are living in the house. There are a couple of barn cats that may come out if they get curious or want to hunt. We have a small Yorkie that mostly stays inside and also have a larger dog that will be in his pen or leashed during your stay. The RV spot is on a slight slope and may need leveling. I have lumber available if you need it. 7.7 miles to WSU 77 miles to Spokane 36 miles to Lewiston 13 miles to Kamiak Butte

Scenic RV Site Overlooking the Palouse Just three miles north of Moscow, Idaho, this peaceful RV site offers stunning views of rolling wheat fields and breathtaking sunsets. Located on the west side of our property, this spot provides extra privacy, nestled beyond the trees and grain bins. If you're looking for a quiet retreat with easy access to town, this is the perfect place. This RV-only site features 30-amp electric service, water and a 4" septic hookup. The spacious picnic area includes a fire pit, ideal for evening gatherings—just note that seasonal fire restrictions are typically in place during mid-to-late summer. Perched on the open hills, you may experience gusty winds when the weather changes — a true taste of the Palouse. For outdoor enthusiasts, Kamiak Butte and Moscow Mountain offer excellent hiking just a short drive away. The site is also great for relaxing in solitude, with minimal noise except for the occasional passing car on a nearby road (100-200 feet away). Pets are welcome, but owners should keep them safe and under control. Important Notes: RV-friendly Bring your own shade—the afternoon sun can be strong in late summer Quiet and peaceful, yet close to town We are living in the house. Surrounded by rolling wheat fields and open farmland, this is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy spectacular sunsets, and experience quiet country living—while still being just minutes from Moscow and Pullman. Wheat & Beans features four campsites in total. Harvest View North is one of two dry camping sites located side by side, so you may have a neighbor during your stay. We strive to maintain a peaceful atmosphere, so generators are not permitted. The campsite sits on natural grass with plenty of room to spread out. The ground is uneven, so please plan on using leveling blocks. A shared potable water spigot (one spigot with two valves) serves both dry camping sites. There are no electrical hookups, although a standard 120V extension cord may be available for light-duty use with prior approval—please contact the host before booking. Guests are welcome to enjoy the walking path around the perimeter of the property, where you'll often hawks, and other local wildlife. We loved our stay at Wheat and Beans! This was our first stay at a HipCamp spot and we were apprehensive but everything was perfect. The site was exactly how portrayed in the pictures. Everything was clean and in perfect working order and it is only 10 minutes from Moscow. The hosts were really friendly and though we didn’t need any assistance they were nearby if needed.

This site was beautiful and private. The hosts were friendly and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We didn’t use the water or sewer hookups, but the electricity was perfect for running the fan and keeping the RV cool on a very hot day. In the evening we enjoyed a wonderful sunset view over the Palouse hills. Being so close to both WSU and the University of Idaho turned our campus visits into a little vacation. Definitely recommend!

We were pleasantly surprised when we drove up to the site. It’s about 5 minutes north of Moscow. The spot was under shade trees and there was a fire pit behind. What we loved were the views of wheat and canola fields as far as the eyes can see. Nick came to greet us and we met the family. They were outstanding hosts. The spot was well maintained and though the hosts were next door, they respected our privacy. Even though there was another camper in the next spot we were separated and they weren’t noisy. We took evening walks, enjoyed the sunsets and quiet. Nick suggested some places to visit and eat in Moscow. We had a very wonderful and relaxing time.

The spot is really just perfect. Well kept, fairly level spot on gravel with full hookups which is a nice perk for a hip camp spot. The view is absolutely gorgeous. The weather was cold and windy, but even in our hybrid trailer, we were plenty comfortable. Nicholas, the host, was easy to communicate with and super nice. I wish we'd been able to stay longer but I would come back for sure. Highly recommend!

Less than 5 minutes out of Moscow, out in rolling wheat fields. Host gave easy directions. Full hookup site under nice shade trees. Quiet and relaxing, which was much needed after vet appts. A 20 minute drive to WSU vet hospital, that was our reason for being there. Friendly and helpful hosts. Would love to stay again when we are in the area again.

We were there first weekend in May. Incredible weather. Nicholas has a great set up. Easy back in for our 25’ trailer with a 4’ bike rack attached on the back. Clean quiet setting on gravel farm road. Less than a mile from 95. FANTASTIC gravel riding right out the door. Hiking at Moscow Mountain 15 minutes - dogs were off leash. 10-15 minutes to university area. Highly recommend. Thanks Nicholas!!!!

Great stay! The spot is lovely and has a great view with full hookups. Close to town, only about a five minute drive to the grocery store/town area. It was pretty windy and rainy when we visited but we were here to see family so not a huge deal. Will stay here again when we’re back in town!

This is a great spot if you are visiting Moscow. It is real close to town which makes for an easy commute. However, it is also far enough out of town to make you feel like you are on a farm or truly camping. The hosts are very friendly and quick with communication. The site was very clean and level. I definitely will be back and would recommend this to others!

Had full hook up with fire pit, chairs, and firewood. Nick was a lovely host – friendly, warm, even offered us fresh eggs from his barn! Already booked a second stay for spring.

The campsite was clean with full hook up (water and sewer). Camp chairs, fire wood, and a garbage receptacle was provided. Wish the weather was better to enjoy the space more. Second site with full hook ups is also available. Directions to the site were very accurate and the host offered us the other site to get out of the weather, but we couldn't pass up the view from the silo site. Thanks for letting us enjoy your property, and we hope to return in the spring.

Booked this spot while moving our daughter back to Pullman (WSU) Nick was a fabulous host and very accommodating. We parked in the wrong spot…epic fail on my part 😢 and yet he was so flexible and understanding. His property is so beautiful…. very clean, well kept and equipped for what we needed. Distance to Moscow was a 5-10min drive at best and 20-25 min to Pullman. Side note, if you take the farm roads to Pullman it’s the most beautiful drive. We will be back for sure!
