Exactly what we were looking for!
This was the perfect getaway! Amazing view, secluded, and Stan was very welcoming. Getting to be up top with a fire, the pup running around, and the place to ourselves we would book again.

Stan was such an incredible host and so responsive! There were 4 of us total and one dog and the site was perfect. We will definitely be coming back!

Enjoyed our trailer camping with friends at Joe Baldy View campsite. Plenty of solitude, kids had a blast playing with each other, and great view of Joe Baldy. Our host met us at the gravel road and led us to our campsite. Just down the road a couple miles is a lake and hiking trails. If you bring a trailer there is a dump station at Hawley's Landing.

A beautiful, semi secluded area with the convenience of gas stations, grocery stores and a lake nearby for the family to spend the day. The host was more than helpful and very informative of the surrounding are and historu behind it. We will definitely be back to check out the other camp spots.

AWD Tent Camping w/ Dogs
Parkside was a great campsite, very secluded and a wonderful view. Our pups had a great time and were okay off leash since there was no one around. It is on the side of a mountain so be careful if they don't have good recall 😜. The drive up was very primitive, we have a Mazda CX-5 and we're concerned with clearance due to some of the erosion and mud pits, so we highly recommend having at least 8" of clearance on your vehicle and AWD/4WD. The land was soft and flat so tent camping was easy & comfortable. Our host was very nice, checking in on us during the drive, providing direction and then guiding us up the mountain. He even brought us up some firewood and an axe to borrow. We would absolutely come back.

Great view and site area. Plenty of room for tents. Based on the info I thought there would already be a fire pit there, but there was not - not a big deal as we could dig one out and cover it up when done and adhere to Leave No Trace. Also, make sure to ask about the portable toilet before you arrive - simply reserving the site does not reserve the toilet.

Relaxing secluded spot in a field.
This stay ended up being one of the most relaxing stops we’ve had so far in our 2 month journey. At first there was some confusion about where the site was located. Cell and internet is sketchy and could not reach the host right away. The spot was secluded and private with a view of St Baldy Mtn. We had deer and turkey frequent the area. We enjoyed biking on the Trail of the Couer D’Alene nearby. This is a must!!! Visited the city of CDA and enjoyed a fantastic meal and shopping. Will definitely be back if we ever pass through this way. Thanks to Stan for his hospitality.

We loved the site! It was a spacious spot with lots of shade. It really was lovely!
My only issue was with a neighboring campsite behind ours (one that we didn't even realize was there initially with the fantastic privacy offered by the trees!). Until their arrival on our second day it almost felt like we were truly out in nature. The group of rowdy men hooting, hollering, and blaring their music until 2 am and later was beyond obnoxious. I do realize this wasn't necessarily the fault of the host and that the other site may not even belong to the same host, but it was exceedingly disruptive and greatly took away from the experience.
Though the neighbors were disruptive and obnoxious, I would definitely book this beautiful site again, but some preventative rules in place to avoid similar future issues would be super awesome. Sound travels well out in the woods so I'm quite sure we weren't the only group that was disrupted by the party boys. I had hoped to avoid the loud party campers by booking through a private land owner rather than renting a campground site. Just keep in mind that ear plugs may be as necessary here as in a regular camp ground, depending on your camping neighbors.

Painted cedar was absolutely amazing! Perfect location right near the boat launch but totally secluded, and Stan is a fantastic host.. I would definitely recommend it!

Primitive & Peaceful
We stayed one night up far up on a ridge. You should definitely have an all-wheel drive vehicle to get up there as the road is steep and bumpy. But it's well worth the drive because the views were spectacular and the dogs loved getting to run around off-leash with no neighbors to disturb.

What a gorgeous spot! No other campers or sites for at least a half mile. Stan gave a warm welcome and shared stories of his family having the property for generations. The site was great for dry tent and car camping. Cell reception at the site, but not at lower elevations around it. A mid to high clearance vehicle would be useful on the road up. Beautiful spot a short hike from camp for sunset and the sunrise from the campsite was not to be missed. Would love to visit again!

Peaceful and serene!!
My wife and I spent a week here with our 3 high drive dogs. It was an extremely quiet, peaceful and shaded area to park our camper. This area is far enough away from the road and tucked up amongst a grove of cedar trees that no one even knows that you're there, which was fabulous! Our family came up to visit and couldn't even find us.
The cellular service minimal at best, a signal booster is needed if you have to use the phone.
The Parkside Ranch hosts were very accommodating and easy to get along with. We didn't want to leave and come back home. 😎
Thank you very much for a relaxing time! We will definitely be staying there again.

This was just what we were looking for. Stan was so nice and has the best hospitality. We really enjoyed being able to visit the horse and goats. Once we were shown to our campsite, we were provided with great info with where we can explore on the mountain with our dogs and the campsite is only 5 to 10 minutes away from great places to swim and hike around heyburn state park. Our favorite part was the night sky, it was lit up with so many stars. We really enjoyed camping like the old days and are looking forward to visiting again.
