This 3 acre peninsula into the Teton River provides amazing trout fishing right from your tent door (licenses issued just 1 mile down the road). This gorgeous nature area is minutes from town, with easy access to HWY20 and HWY33. Deer, moose, bald eagles and osprey frequent the area year round, as well as beaver, waterfowl and night owls. RV dumps right down the road, as well as a 27 hole golf course, if that's your thing. Or just relax, dip your feet in the Teton River and listen to the water pass by. Triple M Camp is an 18-acre summer camp property with cabins, dining hall and commercial kitchen, located on Upper Twin Lake, ID. There are 6 cabins, situated conveniently between the cabins is the restroom with 6 showers, sinks and toilets, 3 per gender. The Pavilion, a large covered concrete area, is a short walk from the restrooms. Behind the cabins are two large grass fields. Between them is a firepit with raised benches and another firepit with a stage and seating. Next to the firepits and field is a large play structure and rock-climbing wall. Past the fields are walking/snowshoeing trails and camp sites. The camp is not directly on the lake, but above it for stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Across Twin Lakes Road and down an inclined dirt path is the 250ft sandy beach. Bring a kayak or boat to explore the shores on the opposite side of the upper lake or venture through the shallow canal to the lower lake for more boating opportunities. Apologetically, the docks are unavailable for mooring water toys. There are many other activities nearby Twin Lakes. Just down the road is the Twin Lakes Village Golf Course. The popular tourist town Coeur d’ Alene, ID and Silverwood Theme Park are 30 minutes away. Not to mention several other lakes within 30 minutes.

Pitch your tent in a secluded cove of pines. Fresh well water within short walking distance (20 yds). Community covered patio with grilling available. LBR is primarily a tent camping campground. There are also many moles so the ground can be a bit bumpy. WE DO NOT ACCEPT R’V’s or campers larger than a camper van. 4 people per site, 6 max per site but that is $5 per person extra. little town of Bayview has a good restaurant Captains Wheel. 5 miles east on HWY 54. Something new near us! There is a new Super 1 foods grocery store with an Ace hardware store complex just after you turn off HWY 95 to come to LBR. NEW! Sweet Lou's BBQ Pit at Athol Crossings next to the Super 1. You can get all your food needs and many of your camping needs there. This will be very helpful to all our guests.

Camp Chain Lakes

Learn more about this land:Park your RV, overland rig, pitch a tent, or sleep under the stars next to the Coeur D’ Alene River. Be advised this is directly next to State Highway 3. If you are a light sleeper, or road noise bothers you, this is not the campsite for you. At the camp, you can launch your kayaks at the river to go for an adventure down through the Chain Lakes, all eight are accessible by the river adjacent to where you will sleep. The bird and wildlife watching in this area is world class. Ospreys, hawks, turkeys and other animals commonly hang out in these parts. You can go for a swim at one of the sandbars, take your dirt bikes or side by sides down Killarney Lake Road to access an extensive network of trails and dirt roads into remote wilderness. There is no cell service, no water or electrical hookups, or toilet. As beautiful as it is, your experience will not be “glamping” unless you come with all the comforts you personally desire. You can hunt on the forest service land by 4th of July Pass, fish on the river, or on the Chain Lakes (with the proper permits, of course). There is a access into the water from camp but it is quite steep. For easy access to the water, use the docks or boat launch at Killarney Lake or Bull Run. Pets and kids are allowed at your own risk. Be advised the highway and river are hazardous for off-leash animals and rambunctious toddlers.Please send a message if you have any questions. I am happy to help.

There are also many moles so the ground can be a bit bumpy. WE DO NOT ACCEPT R’V’s or campers larger than a camper van. 4 people per site, 6 max per site but that is $5 per person extra. little town of Bayview has a good restaurant Captains Wheel. 5 miles east on HWY 54. Something new near us! There is a new Super 1 foods grocery store with an Ace hardware store complex just after you turn off HWY 95 to come to LBR. NEW! Sweet Lou's BBQ Pit at Athol Crossings next to the Super 1. You can get all your food needs and many of your camping needs there. This will be very helpful to all our guests.

Teton Corners has been a favorite fishing and stayover spot for generations, and we felt we should step up and adopt it since we didn't want to see it developed, ripped apart or closed off. Know that by staying here, you are helping preserve this small piece of natural beauty in Idaho. It may not be the biggest preserve, but you have to start somewhere. Come stay a night! Learn more about this land: Come to our riverside getaway at Teton Corners. This 3 acre peninsula into the Teton River provides amazing trout fishing right from your tent door (licenses issued just 1 mile down the road). This gorgeous nature area is minutes from town, with easy access to HWY20 and HWY33. Deer, moose, bald eagles and osprey frequent the area year round, as well as beaver, waterfowl and night owls. RV dumps right down the road, as well as a 27 hole golf course, if that's your thing. Or just relax, dip your feet in the Teton River and listen to the water pass by. Note: River levels fluctuate over the season. We've tried to take pictures of all water seasons for reference.

Overview

Take a trip to the water and kick back one of Idaho's great lakes or rivers. The hike-in wilderness beaches, drive-up campgrounds, and lakeside pullouts make Idaho an unexpected paradise for beach camping trips. While summer is ideal for swimming in Redfish Lake, Henry's Lake, and other mountain areas like Ashton or Stanley, you'll find year-round opportunities for recreation. Bear Lake is a beautiful expanse of blue water near the Utah border, and the more central Magic Lake is set amid the region's unique volcanic geology. Go south from Magic past Twin Falls to take a boat trip or hike along the beaches at Salmon Falls Reservoir, where the fishing is excellent without the crowds. After researching the endless array of rivers and lakes, it quickly becomes apparent that Idaho has its own relaxing beaches surrounded by Rocky Mountains, ones where you can do some tent camping or park your RV.
