Good amount of space at the campsite. The section of beach on the river is an excellent chill spot for sun or swimming. Also, appreciate the campsites proximity to other outdoor activities in the area. Had a great time here.

Our family loved tent camping on Katie's land. The location was tucked away, so we had great privacy. The beach on the river is spectacular and we couldn't get our kids (or dogs) out of it!

We were not told about the very poorly maintained dirt road. It was very rough on the trailer. Many divots holes and dips. The campsites numbers were supposed to be on the trees however they were not. Our trailer took a beating so we left. I do not recommend taking a trailer to this campground. One of my stabilizing bars came off my hitch.

My faculty had an amazing time at Katie's place. We had a private driveway, large campsite with a fire pit. Easy directions with signs along the way. About a 8 min walk to the river which was not crowded at all. So beautiful and very quiet at night. The road was very dusty but that is primitive camping which is exactly what we wanted.

Great site, relatively easy to find with ample shade, sun and wood. Lots of privacy at the site but the beach offered a great chance to mingle with other campers if that’s what you were looking for so you were offered something for whatever mood. Will definitely be returning!

We truly enjoyed our time at Katie’s hipcamp site! First she was SO great at replying quickly every single time! She was so helpful! The river is very beautiful and peaceful! It is a unique little piece of property. It almost seems like a camping village with mostly long-term campers and one hipcamp site. We met one gal who said her in-laws stay there from May to September. We would love to do that one day too:-). Sounds amazing! The campers we saw were respectful and quiet. Some had ATVs/dirtbikes and every now and then we would hear them in the distance but we wish had some too!:-) Everyone had dogs but all were very friendly and owners very careful to watch them as we were with ours! We had the HUGE beach (rocky but smooth rocks) to ourselves most of the time and when we didn’t everyone was very considerate and friendly! We floated, swam, and hung out all day by the water! Our dogs loved it too! The campsite itself was very private and set back. It is a a couple minute walk to the beach. Once you come over the little hill and look out onto the beach and river you really appreciate how blessed we are to enjoy such beauty!
I would note it’s a fairly bumpy and very dusty drive in. We plan to camp there again end of July!!

This site was the best! We will be camping here again. Katie was very kind and answered all of our questions. Her response time was very fast. All four of our dogs and three kids absolutely had a blast. We made great memories in 4 days. The river is a just a short walk away. We tent camped here and it was amazing to see the stars at night. It's a large enough site for a big family to feel comfortable. The road in and out is very bumpy so take it slow. There were so many bees so we bought bee traps. That helped. We have no complaints. Makes us want to move to Idaho!

This was an awesome little camp site tucked I to the woods. It has a dispersed camping feel even with distant neighbors. It is an easy 1-2 minute walk down to the river, which is shallow and slow - great for dogs and kids! The host’s directions were clear and concise. That being said, due to a complete lack of cell service, I would’ve really liked a little bit more and clearer signage to indicate the correct direction and campsite. The photos on the listing also make it seem like this campsite was more or less riverside, which was not the case (although like I said, it’s only 1-2 minute walk away!). However, all that being said, this was an awesome little campsite. We were only there for a brief overnight on a big road trip, but I would absolutely go back and would recommend this site to anyone.

We were disappointed in our choice of this HipCamp site. The road in was quite rugged and although the instructions to the general area were good, the instructions to the specific site were very lacking. The area had a multitude of other long term “campers” in the area using loud offroad vehicles and chainsaws. We had expected more when paying a rate of $50/night. This site would be just “adequate” at $20/night. We left after one night and forfeited our next nights payment.

I liked that the site was surrounded by plenty of trees and brush to give it a private feel. Directions were right on point and easy to follow. Will definitely make it back out soon.

We had a wonderful time! There were other camp sites around us but far enough away we could barely hear or even see them! Huge trees provided plenty of shade and the beach/river was just a minute walk.
We even saw a moose as we were packing up.

What a great find! This is how camping ‘used to be’ when I was young and growing up.
We loved the off the beaten path and pure natural setting of this property. We were the only campers there so enjoying the solitude of this riverfront area was priceless.
My only recommendation is to have some signage on the available sites so a First Timer knows they are in the right spot.
I don’t even want to leave a review because then the secret will be out! This is a beautiful camping area. Thank you for the great communication
