Learn more about this land: Four-season off-grid rustic cabin that can sleep up to 6 adults and up to 10 total. Access by vehicle (summer) or snowmobile (winter). Approximately 468 square feet, one room cabin. Separate kitchen/eating areas (fully stocked) vs sleeping area. Large outdoor kitchen with huge griddle and grill are available during the summer. Bring your own sleeping bags, food, and water. Electricity (from solar power) inside the cabin. Padding and mattresses provided. Primitive outhouse near the cabin So much to do - so much to see (moose and deer are commonplace). SUMMER: Access to private lake: swimming and fishing and boating (no gas engines allowed). Old canoe and 2 paddle boards can be provided. Private sand dune area for ATVs, with access to hundreds of miles of public land trails. St Anthony Sand Dunes, Civil Defense Caves, Ice Caves and Island Park Reservoir are all accessible on an ATV day trip. Yellowstone National Park is an 80 minute drive, though accessing the property requires a 5.5 mile drive on a dirt road, a total of 25 minutes from Ashton. High clearance vehicles are recommended. Campfire ring near outdoor kitchen for your evening gatherings. Lots of firewood for you to use - please don’t be wasteful. Please allow 72 hour notice for booking as we use the property frequently. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS for those who book: • Please no food down the drain in the cabin - please limit the amount of water as it is just a small French drain for the grey water • Electrical system is a solar system that can easily be overloaded. If the fridge is turned on, no other appliances can be used. And the small fridge can only be turned on during the day. No toasters, curling irons, blenders. • Please keep toilet lid down and toilet paper enclosed in the plastic container in the outhouse when not in use, otherwise critters get to it and chew it up. • There is no running water in the cabin. There is a large 5 gallon water cooler that can be filled with cold water for drinking. The smaller 2 gallon container can be filled with hot water for washing hands. •Adjacent neighbors have been complaining about renters being on their property. Do not walk over the berm or past fencing.
