Angell Creek Campground is located in beautiful Island Park Idaho. It has been in our family for over 50 years. We are surrounded by pine trees, and it is a quiet place to escape the noise of the world. It is a place to recharge and enjoy the outdoors. Our campsite is close to West Yellowstone and only 30 mi. from Yellowstone National Park. Island Park has a lot to offer including: boating, waterskiing, fishing, canoeing, swimming, hiking, trail riding and much more. All of these activities are within a few minutes away. We are in close proximity to highway 20 and easy access to services and dining. We have a very large parking area where you can park trailers and vehicles. We have about 3 acres and have 5 RV spots. We have a central sheltered picnic area and a big fire pit on each RV spot. Each pad is rented at $40 a night with provided 50 and 20 amp service with an adapter provided for 30 amp service. No water or sewer is provided. There is a porta potty on location from mid May until end of October. Must pack out all of your trash or be a accessed a cleaning fee per lot. Although wanting to keep this campground in a primitive state, we will be adding a few updates in coming years. Pets allowed on a leash only.

#5 spot has a spacious, level area with a few trees around site, and a 50,30,20 amp power hookup. This spot is large enough for the RV itself and any awnings or slide outs. But we recommend less than 28 ft RV. This site is great if family traveling with you as it faces spot 4. Porter potty will be available from June until end of August. Spots 4 and 5 are ideal for pull campers under 28 feet due to the uneven terrain and the width of the turning loop. Please refer to the attached pictures for guidance. Encourage you to walk around campground before pulling into loop for better understanding of terrain and parking area

Angell Creek Campground is located in beautiful Island Park Idaho. It has been in our family for over 50 years. My husband and I where on our way to WY and it was getting late. All of a sudden it started to snow, we need a place to go for the night. I found Angel camp and it was so beautiful, and to our surprise it had electric hook ups so we even had heat thru night. I did need to call to ask a question and the host answered first ring and was very helpful and kind. This is such a wonderful camp sight. I would love to stay here again.

Such a lovely spot. 30 min to West Yellowstone. Super quiet area. Felt safe the whole time. The host was very accommodating. Definitely recommend.

Drove right to it with the directions that was sent to me, stayed four nights as a hotspot, jumping in and out of Montana , Wyoming and Yellowstone, about a 35 minute drive. Perfect set up for a single person or couples with pets. The area was well kept. I would definitely stay there or suggest it to others.

This is a great space to camp in. She keeps a clean porta potty onsite. The firepits are super nice with gravel around them, the RV sites also have gravel and are pretty level. She has taken care to make sure it’s a nice spot to hang out in. We will definitely go back.

Marisol was by far the best host we have ever had. Her land was a little way out of the way but it was well worth the drive. She was very helpful with directions and suggestions. There was a nice little creek that my grandkids loved to play in. She even left us some fire wood.

Seclusion and Safety

Loved my stay here. During my stay the other spots were occupied, but there wasn't much noise. Be aware though that there is not too much space between the two creekside spots - if you are looking for total privacy or if you have a reactive dog. Overall, quiet and peaceful with the occasional noise from mountain bikes at night! Extremely close and convenient to Yellowstone. I felt safe as a solo female traveler and would definitely stay here again.

PLEASANT SITE. Had some trouble finding it. There is an address on the sign and that worked well. Often had no cell signal. Our daughter was there before us and helped us find it when we called her.

My kids and I spent 3 nights in site 2. I loved waking to the sunlight on the creek. It is very easy to access and the site is graded very level. All of the sites looked easy to maneuver into as well. Hosts were helpful and very accommodating when I had questions or requests. Nearest rv dump I saw was in Last Chance about 16 minutes south.

Basic but cozy outside Yellowstone

The place was quiet and check-in was effortless. The indications were clear, we only had to travel a little distance on an unpaved road. The gps coordinates were precise but we anyway failed to find the entrance on the first try because the sign was hard to spot in the night. The campground was very tidy and clean.

Our site had electric hookup only, but the beautiful setting more than made up for it. Shaded by trees and nestled beside a bubbling brook, it felt peaceful and relaxing. There was also plenty of space to maneuver, making it easy to get in and out.
