Nestled high in the Rocky Mountains of southeast Idaho at an elevation of 6500 ft, our yurt has magnificent views of Mt. Bonneville and the surrounding Pebble Creek Basin.
Along with a handful of neighbors, within a private property recreational area, we are surrounded by the Caribou-Targhee National Forest, with vehicle access from mid-May through mid-November each year.
Pebble Yurt has a 30 ft diameter with a partial loft for a total of 900 ft2 of indoor living space.
You will be completely off grid, but with running hot and cold water, solar electricity, and heating and cooling features. We also feature an indoor shower, sink, and composting toilet.
Bring your ATV's, mountain bikes, or hiking boots to explore the Pebble Basin.
Or take a short drive to Lava Hot Springs for world-class hot pools, water slides, or white water rafting.
Fishing in the Portneuf River or Chesterfield Reservoir, exploring the Chesterfield historic town site, or trying out a zipline or go-cart are other local activities.
Pebble Yurt was built circa 2010 by a retiring forest service employee to the highest standards.
We've used that canvas to create a unique glamping experience for our guests, with the best creature comforts available in a wilderness setting.

Caribou Yurt on the original Caribou Ski Resort. We have a 20' glamping-style yurt listed on AirB&B. When you book the yurt you can set up a tent as well. We are 5 miles east, outside Pocatello, Idaho at 5900' elevation. We are on 5 acres next to public lands (BLM) We have trees and some flat ground. Great accsess to mountain biking, hiking and ski turing. There are some springs within walking distance & beaver ponds just up the road. In summer you can jump on (or sleep out under the stars on the trampoline and cook over a fire. We have accsess to many miles of MTB trails. In the winter you can ski the MTB trails and the original Caribou Ski Area runs. In winter, accsess to the yurt may mean a 10 min walk down the driveway.

Located at the base of Wolverine Canyon is our little slice of heaven called Wolverine Ranch. It is a 100 year old working cattle ranch. The Camp is located in the Headquarters Wolverine Ranch and we decided to name it Wolverine Adventures after a saying that Kelly and Robyn's family has. If something has to be done on the Ranch that is of a more difficult nature, we ask one another "What time is it? Adventure time!" This gets us through the more demanding tasks on the Ranch and allows us to have fun and humor through it all.
As you pull through the Juniper log archway you will drive right through the corrals. Gates may be closed but are to contain cattle and horses, not to keep people out. Come on in and please close the gate behind you.
Wolverine and Jones Creeks run through camp and we do allow catch and release fishing with an Idaho Fishing License of course. Camp is the perfect place to unwind after driving all day and unplug from the busy world outside of the gates. THERE IS NO CELL SERVICE AT CAMP!! You may get signal a short walk up a hill above camp. We do allow campfires but only in the community fire pit area. There is a hot water shower with 180 degree views of the Juniper covered hills while you wash the stress away. We do also have a flushing toilet and potable water right in camp. We do offer a few add on Adventures such as trail rides or Ranch tours. These will need to be discussed in advance of your arrival. Communication with Robyn is encouraged via HipCamp messaging as we often are out of service and need to know an approximate ETA. We prefer to meet every guest and help you get settled in, answer any questions, and apprise you of any information you will need to enjoy your stay. There is abundant wildlife that frequent The Camp, including White Tailed Deer, Mule Deer, Song Birds, Racoons, skunks, and snakes. We do allow pets, however they must be on leash and under control at all times, The Camp has resident chickens and cattle and horses are always nearby.

The camping area sits under a small grove of silver poplar trees that provide shade and a base for a prepared fire pit, a rope hammock, and a small sitting area. You’ll find plenty of space to spread out, whether you’re bringing a tent or a small travel trailer, and there’s a picnic table and horseshoe pit at the site to enhance your stay.
While the setting is rural and tranquil, Shipley Farm is conveniently located just minutes from town for groceries, coffee, and local spots, and within easy reach of outdoor recreation like fishing on the Snake River, birding, and exploring nearby natural areas. Bruneau Sand Dunes State Park is about a 20-minute drive away, and the proximity to I-84 makes this a great stop for road-trippers.
This is a tent and car camping site at its heart, and while larger trailers may struggle to find level ground, small travel trailers are welcome. The vibe here is relaxed and rustic—bring your sense of adventure, enjoy the wide-open skies, and make the most of your time under the stars.

Bristol is bordered by the Portneuf River to the North and Mt Moh to the South, offering river access and a host of trails. Fishing in the river is great, boasting rainbow, cut throat, brook and brown trout. There's also a few great swimming holes right below the property, including a 15 ft. waterfall. Guests may hike trails to the old mines, or be directed to a plethora of trails for biking nearby. The setting at Bristol is uniquely peaceful for the busy tourist town of Lava Hot Springs. Although still technically within city limits, the place offers an atmosphere of it's own, seemingly outside of time. Once a miners camp and stage coach stop along the Oregon Trail, we have worked hard to maintain the buildings and grounds. With an abundance of trees, (bonus if you can name all varieties) the main compound is well shaded through the hot summer months. Our single room, quaint cabins have a shared bathroom with showers and towels available. We are a minutes walk from the hot springs and downtown, so no need to fight for a parking spot!

We accommodate RVs and accompanying vehicles up to 30 feet long and 10 feet wide. For larger RVs, the purchase of two spots is necessary. Please remember that grey water dumping on the ground is strictly prohibited to maintain our beautiful environment. Each RV site is equipped with water hookups, and power hookups are available in both 30 amp and 50 amp options. However, please note that not all sites offer 50 amp service.
For your convenience, a sewer dump station is available, although individual RV sites do not have sewer hookups. Garbage cans are provided next to the bathrooms to help keep our park clean. Restrooms and showers are accessible to paying guests only, with entry via a key code obtainable during regular business hours at the EISF Office, located at 97 Park Street, Blackfoot, ID 83221. Please be aware that the office is closed on weekends and holidays.

I love love love this spot. I decided to do a road trip instead of fly to my destination just so I could stop here and stay overnight. The site at the top where they are building a glamping type dome is just gorgeous. 360 views. Last fall I stayed here with my dog, and I have since lost him to cancer so this trip was a bit of a memorial. I remember him joyfully running around and exploring as the sun set on the mountains. Definitely recommend if your goal is privacy, beauty, and plenty of space.

Weekend Trip to Bristol Park Historic Cabins
I loved the whole vibe of the place. Cute little touches every where, like a pair of old ice skates hanging on a bannister. Breakfast was amazing, and so was the coffee. Rooms where small and cozy. Bathrooms were rustic, could use a little dusting from floor to ceiling, but clean towels and a great shower. Will definitely be back!!
