"Follow the dirt road over the hill" is a bit of an exaggeration. From the point we entered the dirt road, it was going to take us two hours to get there according to the GPS. And the dirt road is not something any vehicle can handle, it appeared to have large bumps all over the place that only a good truck or SUV could handle, especially for a 2 hour drive.

Crystal was great at accommodating our late arrival, communicating with us and giving us a heads up regarding the on-site weather conditions. We woke up to an amazing landscape and a beautiful sunrise on the cliff. The weather was great and it got extremely windy at night so check the weather report and use heavy stones and guylines to hold down the tent. There's portable water and trash facilities available on site. I camped here with my dog and she loved having the freedom to run around and play fetch, however, watch out for few areas that have broken glass or barbed wire(we did pick up most of the shards around the campsite). The hike down to the river was totally worth it and the views from our site were amazing!
