Enjoy a true mountain town experience in the Cooke City - Silver Gate area after a day of exploring Yellowstone National Park and the surrounding high country. The property is 100' x 100' and the house is 1,050sf. Everything in this house is brand new and was completed in July 2023. A large mudroom/gear room/laundry room sets the stage for your endless adventures in the Cooke City - Silver Gate area. We've done our best to set the kitchen up with everything you could need to make most standard meals - pots, pans, baking sheets, and coffee supplies. YOU WILL NEED YOUR OWN MILK/CREAMER, which you can get at the Sinclair or Cooke City General Store, a 3-minute walk away. Sugar, spices and cooking oil on hand. For dining out, Cooke City has several summer restaurants. Easy to get basic provisions at The Sinclair and The Cooke City General Store - actually, you must visit the General Store, it's AWESOME! You can make a full meal from what they offer, but for more variety, shop in Cody, Livingston, or Gardiner before arrival. We keep cooking oil and spice at the house. Whether you are renting to work remotely, need a basecamp for a month of wildlife viewing, or want to provide your family with a unique summer experience, this house will cover your basic needs with ease - shelter, kitchen, internet, and a shower. WE DO NOT HAVE A TV. THERE IS NO CELL SERVICE IN COOKE CITY and many places in the park and to the east into WY. You will want to use "calling over wifi" to make phone calls when you are in wifi, and using this option, your phone works as normal. NO SMOKING NO PETS We built this with our own hands, just the two of us! Thousands of hours of sweat, sometimes tears, a LOT of hard work, long days, missed skiing, and sacrifices. The site, although small, had all the facilities we needed. The gentleman next door (Randy) was so helpful. We saw a mother black bear and her two cubs and elk on this site. It was easy to get into Yellowstone and the town had everything you could want.

My little dog and I absolutely loved our stay at Yellowstone Holiday. Our cabin was super cozy with a little heater to keep us warm. During the day, we enjoyed the lakeside walks. I was able to do a load of laundry & take a nice hot shower. The staff were warm, kind, friendly, and helpful, and Penny loved stopping by for treats. I would absolutely stay here again.

Absolutely loved our beautiful glampsite on the way to Yellowstone National Park! Didn’t know it came with great perks like the welcome center, friendly staff, towels for showering, a community fire pit, a map, etc! Sure it can be colder at night with the high altitude but I slept very comfortably with the fuzzy blankets provided. It was such an aesthetic way to camp and I will never go back to regular camping LOL. Very responsive and friendly host, and super helpful and chill staff! One guy even gave me his personal floss when I had an “floss emergency” lol. Absolutely loved it here! 1000000/10 would stay again and bring more friends :)

Sportsman's Retreat was perfect for us! Tucked away from the crowds but still right next to downtown Gardiner. There are 2 asphalt paved spaces available with full hookups. I use a 30 amp service but I believe 50 amp plug was there too. Very clean setup with grass behind the pad, picnic bench and a large fenced grass pet area. An Elk cow met us each morning like she was the neighborhood pet, but try to approach her. They are wild animals and unpredictable. Especially if her calf is nearby. Also Grizzly bears at times. DO NOT let your pet wander unleashed or leave food or trash outside. We loved our stay there and highly recommend it.

This was the perfect spot to explore Yellowstone National Park from; it's minutes from the North Entrance! It's on a quiet street with the only noise being from the neighbourhood elk calling to one another! The owners were friendly and easy-going with helpful suggestions. It's a nice, paved, full hookup place to park your rig, with a picnic table. The main streets of Gardiner are walkable as well. Very affordable for the area too!

If you are looking for a great location at a clean and friendly spot, this one fits the. There is even a spot where you can see the sun set over the Tetons. Gas station/Mini Market is also around the corner for quick and easy fill up or last minute needs.

Beautiful spot with an outlook down the valley. Easy access to Yellowstone National Park, and only ~40mins drive from the Cody Rodeo. Camped with a 1-man tent and basic air mattress, would probably suit someone a bit more equipped. Sunrise was beautiful, and I’m sure sunset would have been too if I’d been at the site as it went dark. Steep and rubbly driveway so maybe not best for low clearance 2WD vehicles.

Beautiful views of the mountains. Wildlife such as deer and elk frequent the property. Walking distance to everything Gardiner has to offer. We purchased the property in 2016 to share with travelers. There are three other rentals on the property. Learn more about this land: Shawn has been a nurse for 20+ years and understands the importance of a clean environment.  Take a step back in time. Imagine yourself as an original Homesteader in this early 1900's cabin. But with modern convinces. 5 minutes from Gardiner, Montana - The North Entrance to Yellowstone & Yellowstone Hot Springs. We provide delicious well water! Little Trail Creek runs thru the property. There are two rooms in the cabin. Dining table, kitchen supply hutch & wood stove in the main room.Two queen beds, a small cot in the bedroom. There is one chandelier and 1 outlet in each room. There is one extra cabin with one queen bed available for an additional fee. It is 4 feet from the homestead. It is only available for use by guests of the homestead cabin, so it is private. There is a gorgeous new shower house built in 2023. It provides a large walk in shower, vanity and sink, outlet and standard flush toilet.   Candles, oil lanterns, propane for the BBQ grill, campfire ring, camp chairs, wood stove, towels, hot springs & river towels, bedding, pots, pans, utensils, basic camp supplies are all included! There is a separate shack with an electrical outlet, toaster oven, electric coffee pot, percolator, a single electric burner for the cooking supplies. There are 3 other rentals on this property. Each cabin has 1 - 1.5 acres of private use and are generously spaced out.The Homestead cabin is bordered by Little Trail Creek and the house pasture. There are 5 horses on site.  Absorkee Wilderness is in the back yard with thousands of miles of hiking trails. This is a Glamping experience. There my be wildlife - including bears, elk, deer, bugs or field mice at anytime. We have tried to preserve the Homestead cabin as much as possible to its original state. There are elk, deer, birds and other native wildlife on the property daily.

Located less than a mile from the NorthEast entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The Range Riders is a rustic Airbnb lodging option for people who don’t mind communal bathrooms, creaking floors, and thin walls. It is a beautiful building with a lot of history and charm that shows it's age. Range Rider Accommodations Located in the town of Silver Gate, just outside the Northeast entrance to Yellowstone National Park, sits the historic Range Rider Lodge. Construction began on the Range Rider in 1937 after the magnificent Beartooth Highway was completed. Whole logs were brought in from the surrounding forests and oil paintings depicting beautiful mountain scenes were commissioned to line the banisters of the second floor. The Range Rider was originally constructed to be an “indoor playground” for all of the tourists coming over the Beartooth Highway. Since its opening, the Range Rider, originally called the Gorham Chalet, has seen many wild times and brought a lot of entertainment to a small mountain community. Ernest Hemingway even used to frequent the bar and write. The original logs still stand and the Range Rider still possesses all of the magic that it has had since the day it opened. Over the years not much has changed, just enough so that people can continue to enjoy the Range Rider as so many have been able to in the past. Rooms in the Range Rider are available to be rented for nightly rentals. Rooms with one double bed start at $99.00/night and rooms with two double beds start at $184.00/night (these prices do not include tax). There are 5 communal restrooms; among them are 2 men’s showers and two women’s showers and two men’s restrooms and 2 women’s restrooms. The Range Rider is a rustic lodging option for people who don’t mind communal bathrooms, creaking floors, and thin walls. It is a beautiful building with a lot of history and charm but its age shows. The Range Rider Lodge is not for people looking for a luxury lodging option. It offers the bare minimum for your stay; the beds are comfortable and made with fresh linens and towels are provided for the bathrooms. The rooms are simple with just a bed and a table furnishing each room. The building warms up during the day but cools off at night depending on the outside temperature; to combat this we provide small space heaters in each bedroom.

Our property is a small RV park (11 sites) right on the banks of the iconic Yellowstone River. We have 2 HipCamp sites and this one has glorious views of Electric and Sepulcher Mountains. When all is quiet, you can hear the roar of the mighty Yellowstone River! We DO NOT have a bath house so you must be self contained. We DO have full water, sewer, and power hook ups.
