The property is divided by a creek. On one side, you'll find the parking area, shared bathhouse, outdoor kitchen, and common area. On the other side is the private tent site.
The walk between the parking area and the tent site is about 3 minutes (approximately 50 yards). Vehicle parking is conveniently located next to the kitchen and bathroom amenities. The property is also home to a small homestead and a working herbal farm.
Our location provides easy access to many of the area's most popular attractions. Grand Targhee Resort, the Teton River, Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Jackson Hole, and the charming towns of Driggs and Victor are all within easy driving distance.
There is also a small cottage on the property that serves as a separate vacation rental for up to two guests. Guests share the main amenities, while the tent site remains private for Hipcamp guests.
We live on the property in a yurt and are available if needed. We also respect our guests' privacy and strive to create a quiet retreat where you can enjoy the land at your own pace.

Access to some of the best trout fishing in the U.S. is just steps from your stay. Mountain views with nesting Osprey. Elk and deer also wander the property. Horseback riding and boat rentals are available nearby. One-hour drive to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Teton Park, and two hours to Yellowstone. Also attractions in our valley are Falls creek falls, an assume view just steps from your car you can stand on top of a wide spread waterfall dropping into the snake river. Just a couple miles from camp is Palisades creek trailhead, a wonderful hike along a wide creek through the forest with multiple foot bridges crossing the creek and leading to 2 mountain lakes. we have seen a family of moose at the lower lake 2 out of 3 times we hiked it. A trail to the right just before the lake brings you to an out cropping of rocks giving you an elevated view. And of course Palisades reservoir, a 20 mile long stretch of water is just 3 miles from camp. The dam keeps the water flow of the snake at optimal flow all season.

The Shoshone and Nez Perce Native American tribes spent their summers in this area hunting and fishing the many streams in this valley. Trapper's used the area until the U.S. market collapse of the beaver skin top-hat in the late 1830's. Mormon pioneers began settling here in the 1890's. My great-grandparents settled in Teton Valley after moving from Nebraska in 1917. They farmed this land; growing potatoes, barley and hay. Today we raise alfalfa/grass hay that we feed to our horses. In the bottom of our field south of the campsite is Trail Creek, which is the headwaters of the Teton River. It flows out of the southern Teton mountain range in Wyoming and into Idaho. This water eventually joins the mighty Snake River near Rexburg, Idaho as it continues it's journey to the pacific ocean. Summer's here are usually warm sunny days with cool, chilly nights. Our free-standing tiny cabins are located in our RV park with beautiful views of Ashton Hill. Cabins are approximately 400 sq feet, featuring a separate bedroom with two queen rooms and full closets, full bathroom, kitchen/dinette and cozy living space with a pull-out sofa. Don’t forget to enjoy the sunsets on your private outdoor porches! Eagle Peak Provisions are available for purchase at the hotel lobby for our guests with a variety of dietary preferences.
RV & Tent Sites
We are located at 164 and 205 White Pines Avenue, Ashton, Idaho 83420, kitty corner to the lodge. Most sites are pull-through, but we never have an issue with guests pulling in or out of our perimeter spots, as we can take up to 66-foot rigs. Sites have full hook-ups including water, sewer, and power with both 50-amp + 30-amp options.
At this time, sites do not offer cable TV at our RV campground.. Dedicated bathrooms/showers are NOT available at the RV sites. Our rooms do have private bathrooms and cable TV (Direct TV). Our community has a great laundromat within about half-a-mile of our property.

Bath house is amazing! Clean, hot water, good water pressure. There’s lights, microwave, fridge and heater in the tent.
It’s closed to a big road so you might want to bring eat plugs. The tent is facing a big field and close to a little country walk. We even saw a moose!

2 nights at Snake River Glamping
What a beautiful place. Step right out onto the river from your spacious tent. You wake up, and boom, there it is, flowing. Amazing!!! It was Elisabeth's 50th birthday; we had a smorgasbord of appetizers and charcuterie and "cups" of wine. on the deck like camping but civilized. Also, no bugs or flies or mosquitos—maybe just that time of year, but wow, that's amazing; dogs were loving it. What a great experience. Only negatives, only one restaurant in town; we didn't care; we brought our own food. What a beautiful river, moving fast. It's not the spot to throw frisbees for the dogs, but the energy is amazing.

We loved camping on Alicia’s land. It is a great location with easy access to the National Forest/National Park. Great hiking trails within 10 minutes. Their son even dog sat for us while we were hiking! Great experience overall!!!

We stayed in the tent site on location and it was wonderful! Sea Marie was extremely helpful and super responsive. The property is beautiful and the amenities like the stove, shower, and sauna were clean and well maintained. Highly recommend!

This was absolutely the best spot! Bryce and Nellie have created a wonderful spot to camp and hang out as a family. The common space with kids toys, the clean bathrooms and easy spots make it the nicest place. The hosts hospitality is wonderful. We will be back!

We loved our stay, the location is so beautiful and the hosts were so friendly!
We had a short walk to town to enjoy dinner and we were in the perfect location to enjoy nearby adventure. There was so much open space to find a spot to park and relax with our group, we only wish we could have stayed longer!
Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet corner just blocks from downtown, great views and close to so many outdoor activities in the area!

Everything went well. The owners and the camp hosts were the loveliest people. Kind, nothing phases them, always available to help. The camp was easy to find and super centrally located. Close to the national parks, cute small towns and the camp itself had everything I needed and more. Views for days, room between RV spots, camping spots if you’re tenting it or don’t need hook ups. The clubhouse/lodge has a kitchen, tv, books, games, laundry, private shower and bathroom. Plus Bryce and Nellie have a little shop with stickers, hats, tshirts and sweatshirts and more. Cute designs so I bought a bunch. One of the most peaceful weeks spent knowing The Park had everything handled.
