What a fun experience staying in the Tipi! We also enjoyed our chats with Peter who was both inviting and interesting. The boys and sleeping bags were great. Just bring your sleeping bag and pillow and you are set.

Great off grid spot to camp with amenities all provided. A few minutes away from a back road entry into Grand Teton park and a glorious view for sunrise.

Great view and nice place to spend time.
We enjoyed hanging in the tipi, though we just slept in our van. We even built a little fire in the provided fireplace in the Tipi. We were pleased to find the place.

We had a great time at this property. We used the space as a place to crash after some travel and park days and I wish we could have spent more time there. Gorgeous views and all the basics we needed. I would definitely recommend this as a spot for folks who are looking for a basecamp to Grand Teton or Jackson. The host, Peter, also sent great directions and was super responsive when we had questions. Thanks for having us!

The tipi was comfortable and the views across the road were beautiful. Saw elk grazing. Directions were clear and host was responsive. You are basically in someone’s yard but the neighbors have mules so that was pretty cool!

My friend and I loved camping here! About 20 mins from the city and super comfy cots with padding. Peter was so nice and welcoming too! Would stay here again!

Tipi has a wonderful overlook over the valley with mountains in the distance. We were visited by a deer when playing cards on the table outside. The solo stove was perfect to have a warm fire once it got cold at night.
Loved our time at the tipi with our dog. So close to town but still amazing views and a unique stay. Very comfortable!!

Absolutely magical. Stars were crazy. Super cozy. The solo stove inside the tipi is primo. The pupper and I were very comfortable.

We loved staying in the tipi. The views are amazing! The set up is also great. The hammock was a nice way to unwind during the day and then staying in the tipi with a fire at night was lovely. The set up with the cots and pad made set up and take down super easy. Would recommend!

Teton Painted Tipi
We really enjoyed our stay on Peter’s property. The tipi is comfortable and the design on the side is beautiful at night. The location is close to town has stunning views and is near to hiking and biking. Peter was a gracious and accommodating host who made us feel welcome. We would definitely recommend this Hipcamp experience to anyone seeking a unique Jackson Hole adventure.
