We were here two years ago and made a point to come back. Nice location for going off road in a jeep or 4-wheeler. Restaurant menu was limited but what they had was very good. The bartender, Edmund, was efficient, polite and nice to chat with. We will be back when we pass through again.

Very basic. Under construction. Electric only as advertise so no surprise. Sites are level. So if all you want is an In-N-Out, it’s a good spot. Perhaps a bit overpriced, considering that.

Most affordable camping within a reasonable distance of Grand Teton. Power hookups were great. Spots are a bit narrow but the place does not seem to be crowded generally so it's unlikely you'll have a neighbor on either side. Showers were great.

We really enjoy this place honestly you cannot beat the price anywhere around a few long-term sites for sure but they are all very lovely people it felt safe it was beautiful highly recommend.

Website is Misleading

Site 9 - Riverside RV Spot

First, I rarely write reviews but I feel we were completely misled by the great website and pictures. The campground is completely unkept. The cabins appear to be long term rentals and are very cluttered and rundown. The grounds have not been maintained. Showers are unmarked in the back of the big red building, very difficult to locate. The gas station does not have pumps and the store was closed while we were there for our overnight stop. We could never locate the potable water to fill our tank. With regular maintenance and upkeep, this could be a pretty campground, as the view is decent. However, as it sits, I would not recommend.

Great stop for the Parks!

Site 9 - Riverside RV Spot

This unique slice of property was perfect for our needs. There is good 30 amp electric service at every rv site. Water available to fill your tank. No sewer hook up but I found a few dump stations not far away. The Hoback River is your backyard and the Tetons are so very close. It is just past a beautiful canyon and had a cool looking restaurant on property. I unfortunately did not get to eat there due to other obligations in my short stay. There is laundry facilities available and a restroom with showers in the main building. The sites are gravel and since snow season just ended the gravel was a little uneven but with hardly no effort I was balanced. It was so very peaceful. Ian and his wife were great at communicating. A beautiful 35 minute drive to Jackson where all the hustle and bustle is but here you can relax.

Great views of the valley! Campground was pretty empty which allowed for easier navigating and parking the trailer. Sites weren’t clearly marked and host said to park wherever. I fear if it was busier, then it would be a tighter fit. Site wasn’t big enough to allow a moderate trailer and long bed truck. Amenities such as showers, water, and trash weren’t clearly marked.

Ian is a super nice guy. His Elkhorn Saloon has great food and a friendly environment. The surrounding camp area in the back could use a some TLC. It has some areas that are junk yardish...abandoned and old vehicles.

Site 10 - Riverside RV Spot

This was not what we expected. The RV Park is an unkept parking lot with electric. The bathrooms with showers were decent but could use TLC located 200+ yards at the back of a bar/restaurant. In between the lot and the restaurant is a group of “cabins” most of which are inhabited by full time folks living in less than wholesome situations. We locked everything up. 1 washer and 1 dryer work. The description was a bit misleading.

We found this place good for what we needed. We had a one night stop over, needed to re-charge batteries and it was close to the Jeep trail we wanted to do. Unfortunately, restaurant wasn’t serving food when we were there and looks like season workers stay there as well. Wasn’t expecting much based on the reviews but it was what it was and hindsight we might have gone for a campground we passed coming through the pass if we didn’t need to charge up or going to the Jeep trail.

Site 9 - Riverside RV Spot

My husband & I enjoyed spending five nights camping in our fifth wheel on Ian’s land. It’s very quiet there. It’s also extremely dark which is great for watching stars. If you have a dog you need to walk after dark, be sure to have a flashlight. We also ate at his restaurant. We had appetizers one evening & had dinner there the next night. All the food was really tasty. My husband enjoyed the craft beers they had. The only downside was the fact that there were a lot of mosquitos. We would definitely stay here again if we’re ever in the area.

First the description is way too flowery for what it is. It’s a dusty parking lot with electric hook up. No river or creek views. All underbrush covers this. Also $55 plus all the extras which come to $71 is not even reasonable for this space. We came from Idaho and saw tons of free boondocking along the Snake River which would have been awesome. The only reason I picked this place it was close to Monument Ridge to take my Jeep.

Easy access off the road. Mosquitos were out of control so bring your bug spray. Unfortunately. the kitchen had just closed but Cheyenne the bartender hooked us up with cold drinks.

A Treasure Off the Beaten Path

We had a great stay at Ian’s Elkhorn. The views were breathtaking and just 15 minutes from Granite Hot Springs, which we really enjoyed, and 30 minutes from Jackson. We appreciated the clean restrooms with showers and laundry facilities. We had dinner twice at the restaurant and the staff and locals were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Ian was an awesome host! We came in for 3 days to see the Tetons and he directed us where to see moose and grizzly bear! The sites are gravel and nicely groomed. The food at the bar was awesome downhome cookin if you want a real taste of Wyoming stop into the “Ell Horn Trading post” you won’t be disappointed!

Site 18 - Riverside RV Spot

Great spot! Easy to find and get set up at. Plenty of space, great views, bathrooms were convenient and clean, and even has laundry on site ($3 per load at $1.50 for wash and $1.50 for dry). The on site restaurant was great and everybody was welcoming and friendly. Will absolutely stay here again if I find myself in the area!

Site 7 - Riverside RV Spot

Nice site near Jackson. The patrons of the restaurant/bar were a very friendly group of people. I can’t recall ever feeling so welcomed by people I had never met. Eric (the bartender) not only kept up with the drinks, he served the food too. Food was excellent. We were there for three days, wish we had planned a longer stay - felt like we were leaving our best friends. Will definitely go back.

Ian's land is peaceful and convenient. The food in the restaurant is excellent. I think there are some locals that live in the cabins and some RVs, but don't let that detour you away, everyone is welcoming. It's a quiet location to take in the beautiful surroundings.
