Teton Corners has been a favorite fishing and stayover spot for generations, and we felt we should step up and adopt it since we didn't want to see it developed, ripped apart or closed off. Know that by staying here, you are helping preserve this small piece of natural beauty in Idaho. It may not be the biggest preserve, but you have to start somewhere. Come stay a night! Learn more about this land: Come to our riverside getaway at Teton Corners. This 3 acre peninsula into the Teton River provides amazing trout fishing right from your tent door (licenses issued just 1 mile down the road). This gorgeous nature area is minutes from town, with easy access to HWY20 and HWY33. Deer, moose, bald eagles and osprey frequent the area year round, as well as beaver, waterfowl and night owls. RV dumps right down the road, as well as a 27 hole golf course, if that's your thing. Or just relax, dip your feet in the Teton River and listen to the water pass by. This is a 16 foot traditional style tipi, facing east. It has two sleeping cots with inflatable pads, and a wood burning Solo fire container. (Yes I supply the firewood.) The National Park is 20 minutes away, the Town of Jackson is about 8 miles away, Teton Pass is just up the road. Right now (in the Fall) the Elk are bugling in the field right across from us. Both routes are beautiful with waterfalls, gorgeous mountain views, and Idaho countryside. We are 20 minutes from Bear World in Rexburg, and less than two hours from Grand Teton Park and Yellowstone National Park regardless of which of the four routes that you take, with each route including a beautiful waterfall. 90 minutes to the east to Jackson/GTNP/then South Gate in YNP (2 routes-- the mountain pass or the easy Snake River route), and 90 minutes to the north to West Yellowstone/Yellowstone West Gate (2 steep mountain passes). During the spring season, snowmelt and runoff from Teton Creek may pass through portions of the property due to natural high-water conditions. The property is surrounded by mature willow trees and natural vegetation, creating a beautiful and natural setting. Wildlife is common in this area, and you may see deer or even moose nearby. Please remain aware of your surroundings and exercise caution.
