River access is just a short distance away, providing opportunities for fishing, sunbathing, or floating along the Cowlitz River. Just follow the pink flagging from our "Black Tail River Trail" sign at the south end of the grounds along the mowed path into the woods to the river. Approx 750' from the sign.
Conveniently located near the towns of Kelso and Longview, and only 2.7 miles from Castle Rock.
Two full hookups are available, two water/power sites, along with ample dry camping areas. We have a porta potty as well.
Horses are welcome on the property, as are leashed/penned and friendly pets. Dogs can be off leash at the river, but be courteous and aware of other dogs. Please clean up after your animals!
Cell phone coverage is good here, we do not have wifi available.
We offer firewood for sale (cash) and allow propane fire pits. We also have a community fire pit for our campers, called the Lave Pit, directly across from our dry camp area. We follow the Cowlitz County burn ban, July 15-Sept 30.

The two small parks are located right next to each other, only divided by a private drive, and are both run by the same owner. The office is located in the two-story building that says Wind Mountain Resort.
Children are welcome but we don't offer a playground or games and focus more on fishermen, hikers, mountain bikers, and guests who come to enjoy the great outdoors and all the watersports the Gorge has to offer.
Centrally located in the Columbia River Gorge, the RV Parks offer a unique vantage point to experience the breathtaking beauty and spectacular waterfalls cascading from basalt cliffs, including the renowned Multnomah, Bridal Veil, and Latourell Falls. As you venture eastward, the landscape transforms into an even grander and more vibrant panorama. The Gorge is a playground for outdoor enthusiasts. Hiking, cycling, mountain biking, kayaking, whitewater rafting, excellent (salmon) fishing, two boat ramps nearby, and with Hood River, proudly recognized as the windsurfing capital of the world, only 15 miles away. The area also offers the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, and three volcanoes, Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, and Mt. Saint Helens, the Bonneville Dam and wineries, brewpubs, museums, and so much more.

1. We're sure a lot of Hipcampers look for seclusion and peace and quiet, but that's not what you'll get at our park. Although our sites are spacious, we're located along busy State Highway 14 and there's also a train coming through at all hours of the day and night (far more often than we like). Light sleepers, please ask our host for complimentary earplugs or bring your own.
2. We're a rural park with gravel roads, grass, weeds, and trees and not a fancy RV Park with immaculate grounds and manicured lawns. Sorry.

.Our 16 acre private riverfront property is located on the Dungeness River just outside the city of Sequim in Clallam County on the Olympic Peninsula. There are just two very large campsites. Each site can accommodate two RV’s or just a bunch of tents. You will have full access to the parcel allowing you to explore or just hang out at the river. We are pet friendly. Well behaved dogs can be off leash this vacation.
The nearest towns are Sequim, Port Angeles, Port Townsend, Victoria B.C., Just minutes from Sequim you’ll find restaurants, wineries and grocery stores.
The nearest attractions are Olympic National Park, Hurricane Ridge, Olympic Discovery Trail, Ferry Dock to Victoria B.C., Lake Crescent, and Hoh Rainforest where you can enjoy activities such as: boating, fishing, wildlife viewing, winter activities, hiking, biking, etc. Also, you can ride directly from the campsite to some fabulous mountain biking trails at Dungeness Trails.
PLEASE NOTE, Both sites are equipped with an additional RV parking spot right on the river with 30 amp power and Wifi for an additional $45.00 per night. PLEASE ADD THIS AS AN EXTRA AT THE TIME OF BOOKING.

This property is a great camp for enjoying everything that Eastern Washington outdoors has to offer. The Columbia river is in the valley below which provides fishing and watersports. The property is adjacent to thousands of acres of State and federal land which are free to explore. Winter tends to bring significant snowfall which makes this a great destination for winter sports as well. The property sits on top of a mountain plateau known as Harmony Heights. The site is about a 20 minute drive to Brewster or Pateros and about 40 minutes to Lake Chelan. This is an fairly large site and will accommodate two RV's as well as plenty of area for tent camping. There is plenty of good spots to play with dogs without any conflicts. Despite the existence of year round residences and cabins this area is still very wild so you have a chance of an encounter with any critter that is native to the forests and prairies of North Central Washington. This includes but is not limited to the occasional bull snake, rattle snake, badger, black bear, mule deer, whitetail deer, moose, coyote, wolf, mountain lion, bobcat, as well as all kinds of birds including blue birds, hawks, owls, turkey, chukar, ravens, Hungarian partridge, quail, and forest grouse. Bring a field guide you will be happy you did.

They even had firewood for us, no extra charge! David, his wife, and everyone else that helps maintain the property were SO sweet and welcoming. Seems like it would be a lovely place to stay in the winter, so thats when I'd like to come back! 5 stars all the way for everything here, the thoughtfulness of the cabins, the cleanliness, the readily available kitchen and the hospitality. The entire property is rented as a single camp site, so there is maximum privacy and solitude compared to a multi-site venue like Ft Worden State Park. Green Acre Camp is located in a semi-residential, semi-rural area of unincorporated Port Townsend, only 10-15 min drive to main restaurants, grocery stores, and attractions of downtown Port Townsend.
RV power pedestal with 30a, 50a, and standard 20a/120v plugs. Pack-in, Pack-out; there is no toilet, sink, or shower.
Large vehicles/trailers/5th wheels are welcome!
Enter the property on private dirt road connected to Hastings Ave and you may park anywhere in the upper field immediately on left when you enter the driveway. There is a locked shed that houses the well pump, and you can use the water spigot and hose. Water is potable lab tested.
New 2026: Adirondack chairs and moveable metal fire pit (when burn ban not in effect)
Main camp site is the “upper field” where there is room for parking and power/water connections. This is conveniently level with the main road and flat. There is “lower field” that is a trimmed grass field right corner next to the driveway, Finally the “back field” is large, grass field and a fire ring across the northern half of the property. The back field has an unused septic system underground, so we leave the grass and vegetation longer here to attract wildlife and preserve the infrastructure for potential future use. No vehicles allowed in back field.
In the middle of the property is a grove of pine and cedar trees with thick, native salal bushes and rhododendrons crisscrossed with paths created by humans and the local deer population.
Driveway is shared by neighboring property so wave and smile if our neighbors walk or drive out to the main road, and please be respectful of their property line and follow the local culture of 'live and let live'.

I loved the site, it had electricity, there are several spigots nearby. The toilet, shower, basin was clean and had supply of hot water. The owner stopped by when I messaged them that I was not able to operate the spigots. The lawn itself was clean and had two benches. I would definitely recommend guests to stay here!

The location of the RV park is perfect for accessing the Dog Mountain trailhead. The camp hosts are super responsive. Jarrett was able to setup a 2.5 mile paid shuttle to and from the trailhead. So no hassles with parking. Our campsite was super clean and relatively level with a gravel base.

Campsite 1 is the most beautiful site we have stayed at in our three years of camping around the Puget Sound. Richard takes great care of this property and is always improving it. Using the dump station at the Sequim Chevron was easy and swift. We love Dick's Last Resort and have already reserved our spot for 2027.

WOW, where to start...We stayed at Spot #2. It was AMAZING. Directions were easy, communication was easy. Only disappointment is that we cannot get the spot again this summer. Ha. 🙂 We have an animal reactive doggie (barking like crazy), so it's hard to find camping spots. The area was so spacious that even if there was a dog at spot #1, we just kept his long leash staked to where he couldnt look down to the other spot. We loved the area down by the fire pit, so peaceful and listening to the birds and the water was very nice. Sani-can was nice to have also. The owners take pride in these spots, we can tell!! The covered area was nice to have also, in case of inclement weather, or extra hot weather. We want to definitely return some day.

I knew this was going to be a great campsite from the listing pictures, but this place blew way past my expectations. My husband was wowed by how lovely it was and all the amenities and privacy it offered. The place is absolutely stunning and very peaceful. The river was rushing by-- it was beautiful! It was a very nice sound to listen to all night!
The site itself is kept super clean by the owner. I could tell he had washed the site---the picnic tables, the food prep table, etc. and raked the pea gravel. The site has plenty of room to park 2 campers I believe (not sure of size, but ours was a 22 ft travel trailer and a 1500 pickup truck. Had plenty of room to park it. Then there are two tent sites with fresh wood chips. He also has a nice little raised deck in the sun with some chairs. There is water, electric, and a porta-potty as well as some nice string lights over the space with a nice firepit. Richard, the owner, does a wonderful job making this site clean and welcoming.
This location is a gem that we will return to time and again!

This is one of the best if not best places we have ever camped! The sites (2) are well situated and impeccably maintained! Wooded, sunny, great trails, water - it is all awesome. Rick and Victoria were so friendly! There are also great hiking trails right from site. We will be back as often as possible!!

F1 felt a bit more private which was nice. It's right on the fence to the river, so it takes 1 minute to walk there. Enough tree coverage if you want to out your tent where there's more cover, but also plenty of open sky if you want to start gaze some. Between the site and the river, there's a flat sandy spot which is even better for start gazing. Certainly is light pollution though, so I wouldn't make it a main spot for star gazing in general. It's also very close to the railroad and the military base, so expect there to be train sounds, helicopter and distant sounding explosions lol.

The directions to get there were easy to find and I had my choice of a shady spot under the trees or a wide open grassy field. The host greeted me and confirmed where I could camp. I chose the open area and it was great for early sun in the morning. This is a great location between Castle Rock and Longview. If you forget something, like I did, it was easy to get it in Longview. I had planned this location so I could visit the Mt. St. Helens Visitor center and hiked the boardwalk. You could easily do a day trip to get closer to Mt. St. Helens. Dry camping worked well for me and the porta potty was very clean. I saw the RV spots and one could easily fit a large RV in them.

Having the river so close was great to explore and the pond for swimming was awesome. The trails to walk were by far the best part. None of the sites are very private but it was full and everyone was quiet and respectful. The showers were hot and clean and the store stocked quite a lot of things, even fresh eggs!

The location is perfect for clam digging and close to many of our favorite spots. The host had great communication, and our kids really enjoyed spending time with them. The site offers great trailer hookups and is very easy to back into.
We would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing stay that’s still close enough to town when you want to get out and do things.

The Washington Coast and Islands
If you want gorgeous Pacific Coast scenery, ancient forests, and whale watching to feature in your next camping trip, the Washington Coast, the Olympic Peninsula, and the state's many islands are just the ticket. Here you’ll find Olympic National Forest and its ancient Hoh Rainforest, plus plenty of small Coastal towns, such as charming Port Angeles and Port Townsend.
Northern Washington
This remote section of the state is characterized by old-growth forests, alpine lakes, and ancient glaciers. It’s also the site of North Cascades National Park, an enormous expanse of wilderness that offers mile upon mile of hiking trails and excellent campground and backcountry options for campers.
Central and Eastern Washington
With a mix of towering mountains, pristine forests, arid prairies, and plenty of cute small towns, Washington's central and eastern stretches offer some of the best camping and outdoor recreation areas in the state. Washington's second-largest city, Spokane, is located in the region, as is the Bavaria-inspired town of Leavenworth, full of German restaurants, beer gardens, and plenty of faux-world kitsch in this region.
Southern Washington
The southern part of the state is known for beautiful scenery, snow-capped peaks, and excellent wine. On the Oregon border, the Columbia River Gorge is full of beautiful spots for hikers--come in the spring and you'll be rewarded with spectacular flurries of wildflowers. The region also boasts a few world-class wineries of its own, with more to be found further north and east in Walla Walla and Yakima. The area is also home to Mount Adams, Mount Rainier and its surrounding national park, and Mount Saint Helens, which famously erupted back in 1980.
