Twenty plus years ago, there was an ad in the paper listing ten acres for sale in Old Church. It has always been a special place and so the adventure began... We built the house and ever since, have been adding gardens, paths, trails, benches, swings and generally giving back the love to the land for the pleasure it has provided. Weekend Trip to Diamond Heritage Nature Sites

Ryant has set up a really nice place to camp! It is quiet and beautiful. And the wide open sky, with virtually no light pollution provides an amazing view of the stars!! The first night we were there, it was crystal clear and we could see stars that we had never seen before. The second night, there was a bit of haze and it made a really awesome halo around the Moon! If you're into history, he has done research, and continues to do so, and has great stories about the history of the property and what he is in the process of uncovering. I would highly recommend that you check it out. He's a great guy and can relate to your needs, as he loves to camp as well. I was very impressed by the investment he has made in equipment to help out campers who might not be as prepared as they should be. It's only going to get better, as he has big plans for improving, even beyond the excellent property that it already is. You won't be disappointed. Rightly so, he expects respect of the property and other campers, but isn't that the type of place you want to go? It is definitely one of the things that are high on my list. We'll definitely be back!

Robert's site was as advertised. Super privacy, full hookups. Robert was there to meet us, blowing leaves and putting things in tip-top shape for our stay. We enjoyed the firepit (bought some wood from him) and spent the day exploring Mineral (a couple of consignment shops, 53rd Winery--awesome--and Tim's Restaurant on the lake). This place is just under an hour from our home and great for quick getaways. It's on our list to do again!

It was what I needed to break up a long drive. Flat, soft, level grass. Multiple reasonable places to pitch a tent. Host left plenty of firewood and a fire log which was so nice! Road noise was a bit loud and there was a road race of sorts around 2am but that’s to no fault of the host.

Had a nice relaxing week at Robert’s site with my son who had just returned from USAF tech school. Everything was configured perfectly with plenty of room for my 30ft camper, and the site was private and quiet. Amenities included nightly deer visits. Robert was very responsive with all communications and was a fantastic host. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Lake Anna.

Stewart’s Corner is great location, close to Mineral, Louisa, and Spotsylvania. Mary, the host was great with communication and the treats that were left made the stay even better. If you have your pets with you, the fenced in yard gives them PLENTY of space to run off excess energy. When we come back through to Virginia, we hope there is availability!

Stuart's Corner was great for our needs! We have 3 larger dogs and it can be challenging to wrangle them on leashes for potty breaks. The large fenced-in yard was wonderful! We were in town for a wedding and it was a quick trip, so we didn't have much time to enjoy the site, but it would be great for stargazing! Mary was super responsive and helpful. It's on my list to return if we're headed that way again!

This site had everything you need and more. Privacy with convenience to shops, restaurants and breweries. We were only there overnight but enjoyed sipping coffee and watching the birds, squirrels and a deer. We will return!

This site is awesome! I originally didnt realize it was a private site. Its our first time taking our travel trailer out so a private site was extremely helpful as we learned the ins and out. The host was extremely helpful when we had questions. The site was clean and had all necessary hookups, and very dog friendly.

We throughly enjoyed our peaceful camping trip. Robert's land is perfect for our needs. Our dogs were so relaxed and so were we. We will have a really hard time enjoying a regular style campground ever again. We will be back!! Communication was great and responsive. We managed to fit a triple axel 34ft camper in with minimal leveling. We enjoyed some breweries nearby and shopping in mineral. The fireworks were a special treat and even my hotspot worked for Netflix. Thank you for sharing your land.

We had a great stay at Stewart's Corner. This was a convenient, easy to find place with a great spot near the garage to plug in our fifth-wheel and run water with our hose and one we borrowed from our host, Mary. She left us treats for a campfire which we appreciate. The dogs absolutely loved the dog run (very large, securely fenced in yard). A great stay!
