Tiny Rose Cottage
We loved our stay here - it was SO relaxing and such a nice stay. Peggy was so welcoming and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed! Everything you need and lots of hiking and breweries near by, can’t wait to stay again when the weather is warmer.

We loved our stay at the Tiny Rose Cottage! The hosts were very kind and made sure we had what we needed at all times. 😊 The perfect “tiny home” in the woods to get away from the city and relax! It was also a good distance from several things to do, such as Shenandoah National Park and caverns to go exploring!

Camping under the stars
We loved camping at Rendevouz Farm! A beautiful little plot of land. We spent the evening star gazing. Peggy and Allen greet you and show you the space, and invited us to take a tour of their farm the next morning. You get to sleep right next to the horses. We'd love to come back!

It was a great spot to camp! They have plenty of space between you and the other campsites. Also the land itself if beautiful, nicely shaded with no rocky spots so there are plenty of places to set up your tent.

True Hidden Gem/ Incredible Host
Allen and Peggy’s place is a incredible glamping spot to rewind and relax. I’ve booked this camp for one night and had an awesome private camping experience. The cottage is the right size for anyone looking to disconnect with the chores and looking to connect with themselves. I would definitely come back here in the upcoming months. Peggy has being super helpful in bringing the buggy up and down the cottage to load and unload our stuff. There’s a loop trail which takes you to private pond. Firewood had being supplied by Allen and Peggy. Cottage has all the amenities needed for the camping.

Peggy and Allen’s property is beautiful. The sites are big and well maintained. Peggy and Allen are awesome people, who love to show guests around their farm! If you have the chance, the farm tour is a great experience!

We had the absolute best time. The cottage was cozy and comfortable, even with our toddler. Peggy and Allen are the best of hosts, who made sure we had everything we needed. Our toddler loved the farm tour they gave us! We will definitely be returning for another stay.

We stayed at campsite 4 and loved it! It was quite and clean. We loved all the animals and the tour of animals/gardens that the hosts took us on. Allen and Peggy were amazing and we loved our stay!

Beautiful spot with lots to do!
Beautiful spot and so much to do in the area! My daughter fell in love with the horses Tootsie & Sparky! Peggy and Allen were wonderful at communicating and accommodating us as our plans changed on both ends. They were available to us by text but allowed us our privacy during our stay. It was wonderful to have eggs available to buy so we didn't have to worry about packing and traveling with eggs! There is a beautiful short trail around their wooded property that we took twice and got to see the chickens. Our child is 10 and understood to stay away from the electric fence but families with younger children might have a difficult time keeping their kiddos away from the fence which boarders this site on 2 sides. We went to the Shenandoah Caverns, Hiked around Lake Laura from the dam, got ice cream at Smilies and enjoyed the mountain views!

Essentially Recharged
Essentially, Peggy and Allen provided all the essentials for us to recharge. Their property is well taken care of and offers lots of privacy. My partner kept saying, “They thought of everything” in regards to supplies. Peggy’s welcome email was the most thorough I’ve come across on Hipcamp. We would not hesitate to book again at the Tiny Rose Cottage…

Amazing stay!
The whole experience was amazing. From the kind note upon booking, extremely detailed instructions on how to get to the site, and the hospitality once there - offer to tour the farm, greeting, and even provision of water and a cooler with kettle corn. It was a great getaway for my little family and me. The hosts were extremely gracious. Will be back!

Such a great and relaxing stay. Peggy and Allen were very communicative and their farm is beautiful. I camped alone and felt very safe. Area very clean. My only regret is that I didn’t stay long enough to get a full farm tour - I’ll be back next time I’m in the area.

A gem near Bryce.
Allen & Peggy couldn’t have been better hosts. They were communicative and gave us all the guidance we needed to get settled in our 15’ pop-up camper.. The site was situated against the tree line, with a perfect fire pit, drinking and fire-dousing water, dry wood and a picnic table. The provided bathroom facility was immaculate and really nicely appointed.

Very hospitable
My wife and I had a great stay at site #2 with our small travel trailer. The property is beautiful. Peggy and Allen paid us a visit to greet us and make sure we were comfortable. The water, firewood, and toilet access that was provided was all a bonus for us. So convenient.

Not only pleasant and thorough but very accommodating! Ask and Peggy will answer! We did a chef cook off with the chicken and rabbit and they were superb! We ended up leaving with a rabbit each!

Great camping under the stars
Loved our stay at Rendezvous Farms. Allen and Peggy were so welcoming and friendly, they really make you feel at home. Property was really nice and quiet, perfect for camping. They had horses, chickens, rabbits and a beautiful garden! They even let us pick fresh blueberries which were delicious! The camp itself was great! The stars at night are so beautiful! They also provide a little bathroom which was really clean. The pond was so much fun fishing, ton of bluegill to be caught 🙂 They provided a farm tour in the morning where we got to pet the horses and see all the animals up close which was great. Would definitely recommend this site, you won’t be disappointed

Stay at Rose Cottage
The stay at the Tiny Rose Cottage was AWESOME!.Allen & Peggy were very informative and very very nice. Peggy's blueberry muffins are out of this world. The cottage is so close to everything. We fished, paddle boarded and golfed.
The Rose Cottage had all the amenities of being at home but in the woods. We are definitely going back to the Rose Cottage. Thanks Peggy & Allen.

Glamping At It’s Tiniest and Finest
This was the most wonderful experience, 10/10 would recommend and go again. The Tiny Rose Cottage was small but delightful and had everything we needed for a weekend family trip. It’s about an hour outside of Shenandoah National Park, which is why we went. The hosts were beyond perfect, though, and even gave a tour of their farm. My 2 children (ages 5 and 7) and us two grownups all slept comfortably. Peggy and Allen told us that they also have rent camping available for groups and have several return visitors. Not surprising!

Peggy was an incredibly kind and attentive host. She was there to greet us when we arrived and drove our gear to the Tiny Cottage in a buggy. If we had a (small) problem, it was addressed promptly. And she texted us suggestions for food and activities that we ended up greatly enjoying. Plus, my dog seemed to really enjoy the property too.
