Robert's site was as advertised. Super privacy, full hookups. Robert was there to meet us, blowing leaves and putting things in tip-top shape for our stay. We enjoyed the firepit (bought some wood from him) and spent the day exploring Mineral (a couple of consignment shops, 53rd Winery--awesome--and Tim's Restaurant on the lake). This place is just under an hour from our home and great for quick getaways. It's on our list to do again!

Had a nice relaxing week at Robert’s site with my son who had just returned from USAF tech school. Everything was configured perfectly with plenty of room for my 30ft camper, and the site was private and quiet. Amenities included nightly deer visits. Robert was very responsive with all communications and was a fantastic host. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Lake Anna.

This site had everything you need and more. Privacy with convenience to shops, restaurants and breweries. We were only there overnight but enjoyed sipping coffee and watching the birds, squirrels and a deer. We will return!

This site is awesome! I originally didnt realize it was a private site. Its our first time taking our travel trailer out so a private site was extremely helpful as we learned the ins and out. The host was extremely helpful when we had questions. The site was clean and had all necessary hookups, and very dog friendly.

We throughly enjoyed our peaceful camping trip. Robert's land is perfect for our needs. Our dogs were so relaxed and so were we. We will have a really hard time enjoying a regular style campground ever again. We will be back!!
Communication was great and responsive. We managed to fit a triple axel 34ft camper in with minimal leveling.
We enjoyed some breweries nearby and shopping in mineral. The fireworks were a special treat and even my hotspot worked for Netflix.

Being on Robert’s land was a great way to spend the weekend. I was sold after reading all of the reviews and am now glad to leave my own. His thoughtful design of the space and the amenities made for the perfect set-up. We truly had everything that we needed. It truly is like being at a campground but without all of the people. We had a chance to walk around the neighborhood and down to the water and the people we encountered were kind. We will definitely be back.

Robert's camping site was top-notch! Directions were easy to follow, driveway was easy to navigate with the travel trailer, the site was well-maintained, level, and welcoming. The utilities were all right there are ready to rock with no issues. Plus there was a nice wooden deck, picnic table, chairs, and a hammock. The area was clean and quiet (except a Saturday night rock party on/near the lake until 10pm - not the host's fault). We were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our stay!

We loved the site and the beach area we had such a wonderful time would definitely come back! I will say if you have a reactive dog it should be mentioned that the host rents out the corner to a very nice gentleman but we were unaware he would be there and had to leave our dog inside for a couple hours. Otherwise we had a great time

It was even better in person! Robert has a wonderful setup. There’s a deck that we lined up our camper with, a nice picnic table and fire pit. His directions were very helpful (he happened to be at the site when we arrived and helped us situate the camper just right). Very secluded site but close to restaurants, brewery and shopping.

This site was peaceful. Not at all what we expected though. The pictures were misleading. We both thought it was in a campground with immediate access to the water but you would have to walk several blocks or drive a bit to get to the water - not on the property. The site was on a sideways tilt, we don't have leveling jacks so it was difficult.

We enjoyed our stay and the quiet setting. The lake access was perfect for kayaking and, since we were there mid-week, the lake was very peaceful. We walked around the neighborhood and took a drive around to the state park. Robert’s spot was easy to get to and the hookups very convenient. It was a lovely spot to for a get away. Thanks, Robert!

It was a great stay and wish we planned a longer stay, It was our first time camping with a camper. The lot was great, easy to back in the camper and hook up. It was quiet, and very easy access to the lake to put our boat in the water, and plenty of room to keep the boat close by for our stay. We will definitely book again in the future. It is also close to grocery store, and other restaurants, which was very convenient because I forgot the cooler with all our food.
A suggestion for the community the camping lot was in, would be adding some lighting to the boat ramp. We watched the fireworks on the lake but it was difficult when we needed to take the boat out of the water. Or some reflector poles to make the ramp.
Overall a great stay.

Robert's campsite was everything one could want.
Full utilities, secluded, but close to the community, gated and safe feeling. Directions were spot on and letting us know how to enter the site made backing our trailer in a breeze.
