When booking, select any of the 4 sites. Sites are first come, first serve.

Built in the 80's by the Corps of Engineers, Paradise has been a mainstay of the lake for many years. Recently, the current management team are working to grow Paradise into something special. With a huge focus on community and culture, Paradise has tons of space for people to come together and enjoy the company and also areas to wander off and find a quiet lakeside spot to relax. You'll also be able to catch one of the best breathtaking sunsets on the lake!
The wildlife we have on the property is amazing! I have deer that sleep in my front yard, opossums, 600 bird species, and my favorite… the armadillos!
We offer Kayaking on the property for a fee. We have a beautiful Hammock Garden free for guests to kick back and relax. Texoma Water Taxi is a text away to give guests a ride anywhere on the lake including restaurants. Rock-N A Ranch is roughly 20 minutes away and offers horseback riding.
The Cabins and Campsites are within walking distance from each other but far enough away to create that illusion of privacy. We do have a neighborhood close by but you can’t see or hear them due to the woods.
In my travels, I try to bring back something I’ve seen or learned to help improve the guest experience and environment. You’ll notice little touches of Asia, Mexico, and even Hill Country Texas! We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and treat every guest like family.

Come escape to a heavily wooded 31 acre pristine wildlife habitat. Only one hour east of Dallas but it feels like another world. At the end of a one lane rock road- this is a very secluded property. It is perfect for tent camping groups and individuals, has a very positive vibe and is more peaceful than most state parks. It adjoins a 950 acre wildlife park with 1200 exotic animals. Many can be seen from the road or you can pay to drive through and feed the animals.
Your host is Randall Oliver. He has been organizing group campouts for years and enjoys hosting, bringing people together and inspiring a love of nature, camping and paddling. Everyone is welcome and campers are treated like family. He can teach your kids to kayak and build a camp fire.
You can fish for largemouth bass, cat, crappy and bluegill in the two ponds and swim, paddle kayaks and paddle boards, hike the jungle trail and socialize around the campfires.
There are no designated campsites. You can camp anywhere except between the green building and the front pond. No vehicles are allowed back on the property. Off road wagons are provided to help haul your gear. Front pond camping areas are 30-100 yards from parking area. The rear pond is more secluded but farther from the parking and outhouse. There are four fire pits around the front pond and one next to the rear pond.
The tiny handcrafted Hummingbird Tree House is perched on an elevated deck overlooking the front pond. and features a queen bed, a bed in the loft for two small kids, electricity, lights, fan, hummingbird stained glass windows, screened operable windows and a screened, operable porthole window in the kids loft. The deck has lights, tables and chairs and outdoor table and chairs and a thatch covered umbrella. There is no heat or AC in the tree house. You must bring your own sleeping bags, blankets and pillows. No food, smoking or pets allowed in the tree house.
There is a rustic outhouse with a modern composting toilet, sink, faucet, lights, soap, etc. and a nearby cold water outdoor shower (no privacy), sink, counter and faucet. Use of firepit and grill, kayaks and paddleboards, rod & reels, hammocks, swinging chair and tire swing is included. Firewood can be purchased $1 per stick

The camp area is 9 secluded, fenced and wooded acres laced with all-dirt flat biking and walking trails on our property. We encourage you to bring your bicycles along. The bird watching is great!

I loved my stay! I was able to take both of my dogs and they loved being able to explore, it’s a very short walk to the water and a good amount of space and privacy, the site next door was empty for the weekend so it felt like we had the area all to ourselves! There is a sink (with potable water) and a porta potty very close as well if you don’t want to go all the way up the hill to the full bathrooms. Lyn and Carol-Anne were very communicative and helpful! We will most certainly be coming back!

Absolutely Amazing! My husband and I stayed at Boulderdash RV and Camp for three nights at the end of May. We stayed in the Stella RV . Stella was so comfortable. The linens were soft and clean, Stella has everything you need from cooking a hot meal to taking a hot shower. The AC was on point and well needed after hot days by the beautiful clean and clear Medina river. Our hosts were very hospitable and kind. It was hard to leaving back to the real world. Such a beautiful and well maintained property. We can't wait to go back, hopefully for a much longer stay next time. Thank you again to our hosts Carol Anne and Lynn!

This site was just as described. It was so nice to have the shaded area in late May as it was reaching temps in the 90s. The bathroom facility was just what I needed. The sky was amazing! You can see the milky way with the naked eye! If I'm ever back in the area, I would definitely stay here again.

So happy we chose to spend the day here for a birthday celebration. This place is everything and more! We fished, paddle boarded, swam, played games and enjoyed the beautiful nature that surrounds this property. We were lucky enough to have just one other set of campers nearby but far enough that you really feel like you have the place to yourself. Even if all four sites were booked they are spread apart perfectly. Will most definitely be back with our family to enjoy another day and possibly night! Stayed here for a spontaneous first-time trip to Big Bend and it was perfect! Beautiful clear landscape to see all the stars at night. Restrooms/showers were nice and clean, and the campsite itself was great. Host was incredibly responsive and kind enough to offer us a nicer camp spot without us even asking! We had such a wonderful stay at Llamaland Camping—truly a unique and memorable experience! From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful, welcoming, and thoughtfully set up.
The campsite itself is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, with just the right balance between comfort and nature. Waking up to the fresh air and scenic surroundings was incredibly relaxing. The highlight, of course, was the llamas—they were adorable, friendly, and added such a special touch to the entire stay.
Judy was a fantastic host—kind, responsive, and clearly passionate about what she’s created. She made sure we had everything we needed and offered helpful tips to make the most of our visit.
If you’re looking for something different from a typical camping trip, this is the perfect spot. It’s peaceful, fun, and great for both relaxing and making lasting memories. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone!

My daughters and I had a very relaxing weekend getaway at Boulderdash thanks to our thoughtful and considerate hosts! When we arrived, we were offered a different spot from the one we booked so we could have a little extra space to ourselves, and they even had farm fresh eggs and homemade sourdough available that we snatched up for the next day's breakfast. Proximity to the river was amazing and we spent a few hours on the water together, and the bathroom and shower facilities were very clean. The grounds were also in great condition, full of greenery and wild deer we could feed with some complimentary corn (both my girls were thrilled). The cherry on top was the fact that all you could hear at night was crickets, and you could see all the stars despite some clouds in the sky. It was a great experience and we look forward to staying again!

Great place for a less-crowded camping/glamping experience. Bathrooms were really clean. Sadly no stickers at the little cabinet store when I checked, but I will be back and hopefully can grab one then. The river was very nice as well. I booked RV site 2 and the walk was maybe 3ish minutes? No biggie. Would definitely reccomend.

Great spot for visiting Big Bend and the neighboring towns. Bathroom facility on site is clean and campsites are far enough away that you have a bit of privacy. Well-kept, easy to find, and the perfect location. Site 10 was great as it is just at the entrance and roomy. This will definitely be a place we recommend.

It’s a beautiful area. Very private with a beautiful pond. It’s definitely a hidden gem. It’s a great place for kids to be left to wonder on their own. I felt they were safe to wonder with each other.
