You will be staying in a 16ft Pacific yurt built on raised deck that has a covered deck for shade and rainy days. There is plenty of space for additional tents and RV campers to join! There is a fire pit, picnic table, full propane grill and composting toilet. There is also a wonderful warm wood stove for staying cozy! You can swim in the creek right next to the site or walk over to the North Fork of the Alsea River where there is 1/2 mile of river access and great winter steelhead fishing too. Close to the farm is world class mountain biking, hiking, fishing, waterfalls, great views, and surfing on the Oregon coast. The camp spot is a very private grassy nook nestled next to Honey Grove Creek. There are nature trails on the property with blackberry bushes. We offer farm fresh eggs, firewood bundles, and as the garden begins to ramp up- we will offer all the veggies to campers including goat cheese! We can do cash or Venmo payments. Located an hour west of Portland through Oregons wine country. We are located in Scoggins valley which is home to Henry Hagg lake and the Scoggins valley park. The Lake offers a bunch of recreation including swimming , boating ,fishing ,hiking , biking and paddle board rentals. The camp site is situated on the bottom of my property a half mile from the lake. It is a fairly secluded campsite with room for up to 6 tents. Nestled in the woods there is a nice verity of sunny and shady spots a campfire spot, a picnic table and a porta potty. Sain Creek recreational area is just off our road at the lake with C- ramp another quarter of a mile around the lake. All of the lake is a park so you have to enter the park to come to our spot.

The property consists of a flat gravel parking area with room for 3 automobiles, tuck campers, or camper vans, along with 3x tents. For number two, there are state park bathrooms located just before the stairs down to Otter Rock Beach. Fantastic! We booked last minute and arrived after dark. We had such a comfortable stay, and were in awe of the creek right behind us in the morning light. The bed is incredibly comfy, and we were perfectly comfortable. This place is moments from mine and my kid's favorite place to go catch crawdads. I would absolutely book again.

Really wonderful spot with many places to pitch your tent if you wanted to come as a larger group. As a group of 2, it was nice to have such a large space to enjoy camping right off of Hagg lake. Scott was a wonderful host and super friendly! He provided water and a porta-potty and continued to check in on how things were. Would absolutely stay again!

We chose this site because of the proximity to Hagg Lake and Tree to Tree Adventure park, as a summer last hurrah for our kids. Scott and his dog Hilda were very friendly hosts, stopping in to check on us— Hilda is clearly a common camp visitor as she hung out at our camp for a few hours each day. It was thoughtfully laid out and had several spots for tents. Scott provided water and a clean portapotty. It was pretty dusty as we came at the tail end of a dry summer, so be sure to prepare for that. Overall it was a lovely experience and I’m thankful we had the opportunity to visit.

We loved tent camping on Scott’s property! This location is ideal for large groups. There are several large tent pads, parking for multiple vehicles, and it’s secluded area. We had 2 dogs with us who enjoyed meeting his small pup and spending time roaming the property. The lake has several access points within half a mile.

This place was absolutely wonderful. It is close enough to town to grab any forgotten items, but felt like being out in the woods. The land has been thoughtfully designed to accommodate larger groups but still offer privacy. Scott was incredibly thoughtful and kind. We brought some recreation gear to use at Hagg Lake, but this time, kicking back and enjoying the weekend at a relaxed pace won. We really appreciated the thoughtfulness and care put into this camp spot. Can't wait to return!

The property is large and beautifully maintained. It has a mix of shaded and open areas for camping and recreation. It was great for a family gathering. There's a great fire pit, wood supplied, electric hookup and lighting and potable water available. The composting toilet was quite pleasant. The hosts were gracious and we had the run of most of the property, including the blueberry fields for picking from the last of the available berries. There was some road noise from the nearby roadway, but it wasn't a big bother.

Our stay at Jeremy and Dana’s place was outstanding! The yurt was super cute and clean, very comfortable bed, and nice deck. The property, the views, and the peacefulness were even better! We walked to the river, enjoyed the sound of the creek behind the yurt, had fires in the fire pit and absolutely loved our stay. Will definitely be back!
