This is a 10 acre camp of wooded hills. This campsite currently has an rv pad for rent and a featured camp site with a hobbit house. Soon to be more tent sites. There is a firewood stand on site and bundles are only $5! The hobbit house is built back into a hillside and is underground, round doors, and arched ceiling stays true to hobbit architecture. This is a glamping opportunity. Inside the hobbit house there is a full bed for two, with a quality mattress and an adjustable bed frame that has a motor to lift body to sit up or you can raise legs. There is power inside and a small microwave for cooking. 30 feet away is a sink for cleaning and good drinking water. There is a bathroom area a short way down the hill with a flushing toilet and heated shower. Outdoors includes a fire pit, a few small springs and ponds and lots of trails to explore. Your shelter and mattress will be top notch, however this is still a campground and you need to be prepared as a camper. Currently we do not have a refrigerator, bring your own cooler. No silverware, or plates are provided. You can heat things in the microwave or cook over the fire. Bring whatever utensils are needed. Within a couple miles of our location is Lewis River Golf Course, as well as popular water spotd of Merwin Lake Park, and floating the Lewis River. We have a scavenger hunt set up on the trails of our property if you want the challenge of finding our targets as you walk the trails.

MORE ABOUT THE LAND: Located right off Hwy 26, directly in between the city of Portland and the peak of Mt. NON-NEGOTIABLE RULES: PACK IN PACK OUT: We do not have trash or recycling bins down in the creekside campground so please keep your waste contained and take it with you when you leave. Please do not throw any trash in the porta-potties. 4WD/AWD REQUIRED PAST THE BARN: The steep gravel roads can be tough for some cars and rigs (particularly on the way out) and consequently, can cause a lot of damage to our roads. So for everyone's safety, we have restricted access to only vehicles with 4WD or AWD only. Please do not message us asking us to advise on the vehicle you have. If someone in your party has a 2WD vehicle, they can park up in the entry lot and get shuttled down to the campsites in a 4WD vehicle. If we see a 2WD vehicle in the campground, we will ask you to leave and if we have to dig you out, we will charge a $200 fee. Thank you for respecting our policies and helping us maintain our space. DOG FRIENDLY: We are as dog friendly as it gets here. Unleashed dogs are allowed on this property down by the creek (on-leash required in and around the barn). If you have a fear of dogs, or have dogs that are not friendly with other people or fellow dogs, this probably isn't the right campground for you. Of course, we expect all dog owners to keep an eye on their pets so they don't disturb other campers or ingest anything they're not supposed to. QUIET HOURS: 10pm-9am. We ask that guests keep the noise (loud music and loud conversations) to a minimum between 10pm and 9am. We live onsite and will enforce these if we have to (please don't make us). NO FIREARMS, FIREWORKS OR ILLEGAL SUBSTANCE USE. This is not a late night party campsite. Our ranch is located less than 30 minutes from the picturesque and historic cities of Silverton, and Mount Angel. Nearby nature attractions include Silver Falls State Park, The Oregon Gardens, Champoeg Park, Feyrer Park and many more. To the north you can enjoy the scenic town of Estacada and its many nearby city, county and state parks for boating, hiking, fishing, and site seeing. We're conveniently located about 5 miles from McMenamins Edgefield if you need a place to camp after a concert. This property makes a great stop over while en route to your final destination, but is also a great getaway if you'd just like to relax in a natural setting while having conveniences near by. **if you have an rv that you are planning to back into the site, please enter via the 'exit' as it will allow better positioning to back in. otherwise use the drive marked entrance.** If you have young ones, the park next door has a playground and a stocked fish pond. We also have a pond on sight that is perfect for viewing birds, beaver and having morning coffee. You're also welcome to bring your kayak and or paddle boards to get out on the water for fishing or just floating the pond. There is the occasional Deer, coyote and raccoons all around on the property. Two minutes from your site, you will find 24 hour gas and diesel; Subway, Riverside Cafe, Bennie Huies Chinese and the local Grocery store. Did I say there is a Dairy Queen 5 minutes way? Nearby Ballston Road offers a great rural road system from which to explore by bicycle. Points of interest both out in the wild and more metro are all within an hour drive. Other's can join you with another RV by also booking "add-on RV". For day use visitors to your site, you can either add additional vehicles or purchase of one of my frozen chickens (in Extras). 2. Choose your preferred dates. 3. Pack up your RV for a relaxing getaway from the city! More about the property: - This is a regenerative farm, just starting. Last season I focused on chickens- alive (egg layers for your back yard flock) and dead (meat birds in the freezer and available for your camp dinner). Two cows roam the front pasture and my goal is to grow their numbers to be able to improve the soil health here at the farm.. -My tiny home is in the area of the sites, but far enough away to maintain privacy. Otherwise it is a private and secluded area. Because I live on site, I will not allow repeat visits if groups become rowdy or disrespectful. -There is ELECTRICITY and WATER on site. The electricity is through a standard household outlet so an adaptor will be necessary, and possibly an extension cord, depending on where you choose to set up. An outhouse with a compost TOILET and sink are available, but no shower. However, in winter months, the sink will be turned off to protect pipes. Water is still available from an in ground frost free spigot. -There is a FIREPIT for evening musing, don't forget your marshmallows. Firewood is available on site for $10/night with an unlimited supply (or free if you want to gather downed limbs). - There is an old hay wagon converted into a covered picnic area that I call the COWZEBO for use in bad weather. Enjoy a meal here with a great view of the river. - FRIENDLY DOGS are welcome. Know that my dogs also hang out here. Also, there are no camp fires allowed, the setting is heavily wooded and the fire danger is too high. Propane based cooking stoves are fine to use outside. Dogies are welcome and need to be on a lead 100% of the time if outside. We are located 10 minutes from Hillsboro, 30 minutes from downtown Portland, 5 minutes to North Plains and 3 minutes to two wineries - Helvetia Winery and Eagles Nest Winery. Enjoy seasonal Apples from our small orchard. Watch the Deer graze, relax in the hammock in the shade of the old Apple trees or toss some horseshoes or Corn Hole for fun. We have an optional Propane fire pit for rent if you want to add to your experience. Also, 1 dozen eggs for purchase as well. Need supplies? Town is close by! We are a 7-10 minute drive to the Newberg, including downtown and various local parks. Visit The Allison Inn and Spa, Caravan Coffee, Sprinkles of Joy Bakery w/espresso, Food Carts including Hutch and Lucky's BBQ, and many of our casual favorites like The Old Town Bar, Just Pho U, Thai the Knot, La Sierra Mexican, and Abby's Pizza. Enjoy our famous 99W-Drive In, and visit our local seasonal Farmer's Market on Wednesdays 4-7 p.m. Wineries to explore galore nearby in Newberg and Dundee just a quick hop over the expressway including Rex Hill, Potter’s Vineyard, Sokol Blosser, Durant Vineyards and Olive Mill, Duck Pond, Domaine Serene, Ponzi and more. Explore the property, take the kids for a swing under the big Coastal Redwood or play in the pasture with the Chickens and Turkey with scratch grains available for the kids to feed the birds. There is a firewood stand on site and bundles are only $5! The hobbit house is built back into a hillside and is underground, round doors, and arched ceiling stays true to hobbit architecture. This is a glamping opportunity. Inside the hobbit house there is a full bed for two, with a quality mattress and an adjustable bed frame that has a motor to lift body to sit up or you can raise legs. There is power inside and a small microwave for cooking. 30 feet away is a sink for cleaning and good drinking water. There is a bathroom area a short way down the hill with a flushing toilet and heated shower. Outdoors includes a fire pit, a few small springs and ponds and lots of trails to explore. Your shelter and mattress will be top notch, however this is still a campground and you need to be prepared as a camper. Currently we do not have a refrigerator, bring your own cooler. No silverware, or plates are provided. You can heat things in the microwave or cook over the fire. Bring whatever utensils are needed. Within a couple miles of our location is Lewis River Golf Course, as well as popular water spotd of Merwin Lake Park, and floating the Lewis River. We have a scavenger hunt set up on the trails of our property if you want the challenge of finding our targets as you walk the trails.

Choose your preferred dates. 3. Pack up your RV for a relaxing getaway from the city! More about the property: - This is a regenerative farm, just starting. Last season I focused on chickens- alive (egg layers for your back yard flock) and dead (meat birds in the freezer and available for your camp dinner). Two cows roam the front pasture and my goal is to grow their numbers to be able to improve the soil health here at the farm.. -My tiny home is in the area of the sites, but far enough away to maintain privacy. Otherwise it is a private and secluded area. Because I live on site, I will not allow repeat visits if groups become rowdy or disrespectful. -There is ELECTRICITY and WATER on site. The electricity is through a standard household outlet so an adaptor will be necessary, and possibly an extension cord, depending on where you choose to set up. An outhouse with a compost TOILET and sink are available, but no shower. However, in winter months, the sink will be turned off to protect pipes. Water is still available from an in ground frost free spigot. -There is a FIREPIT for evening musing, don't forget your marshmallows. Firewood is available on site for $10/night with an unlimited supply (or free if you want to gather downed limbs). - There is an old hay wagon converted into a covered picnic area that I call the COWZEBO for use in bad weather. Enjoy a meal here with a great view of the river. - FRIENDLY DOGS are welcome. Know that my dogs also hang out here. Also, there are no camp fires allowed, the setting is heavily wooded and the fire danger is too high. Propane based cooking stoves are fine to use outside. Dogies are welcome and need to be on a lead 100% of the time if outside. We are located 10 minutes from Hillsboro, 30 minutes from downtown Portland, 5 minutes to North Plains and 3 minutes to two wineries - Helvetia Winery and Eagles Nest Winery. We have two sites currently ready for camping with AMAZING views of the Oregon Coast Range with phone service, pets allowed if kept on leash (there are animals on neighboring properties), and a designated fire ring for fires if a fire ban is not in place. There is a water hose available for filling up jugs on site. We are currently in the process of putting in an outhouse and showers, but currently we ask that you leave the site as you found it. April and Scott are terrific hosts. We really appreciate the care they took to make us feel welcome at their family farm. The site is tranquil and beautiful, and our two-night stay allowed us to spend a full day relaxing and enjoying the farm. Scott provided detailed directions for approaching and navigating on the property, and he helped us situate the rig to maximize our outside space on the passenger/entry door side. He provided us with a fresh-water hose (dispensing RO-filtered water) and, gratefully, an extension cable for the 30-amp service which I was able to reach easily with my shore cable. We really appreciated the half-dozen eggs from their hens that April brought over shortly after we arrived. We loved feeding the chickens in their pen the next morning, not to mention marveling at their gorgeous tom turkey. We also picked several sweet and flavorful apples from their heritage trees. Even though we were just across the lawn from the side of the house, the orientation of the rig allowed us abundant privacy on our side, where we enjoyed the provided dining table set and Adirondack chairs. The gravel pad is level and sits right at the edge of the property, adjacent to a neighboring farm with resident cows. Three of them wandered over in the morning, and following Scott’s suggestion we fed them apples from the ground on his farm, crushed a bit and broken in half. The sweet creatures loved the treats and we enjoyed feeding them. The morning of our departure, with April’s permission, we picked small but delicious end-of-season raspberries. We also collected several small, intricate cones from the ground under the majestic fir trees on the property. Scott and April’s hospitality was awesome, and our visit was a blissful respite in the midst of a very intense three-week itinerary. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay with them again if we find ourselves returning to the region.

Quiet, clean, and a great view of the stars. Saw a few cats, deer, and many horses on the drive-in. I watched a beautiful sunset and the harvest moon! Very little light pollution, so the stars were very visible. The stay was so peaceful and quiet. There was hose and a 50amp to 30amp adapter waiting for me when I arrived, such a nice touch. I would highly recommend a stay at the Lavender field.

Quiet with fenced acreage for our two dogs meant good sleeping and peace of mind with the dogs off leash. The hookups were clean and reliable. Friendly neighbors and good restaurants close by. I initially thought it was a bit far from the city but really the access to Hwy 99 was an ideal boulevard/conduit to the city! Great launchpad to many areas. We will definitely be back.

I loved camping here for five wonderful days while attending a workshop at Menucha Retreat Center and a concert at the Corbett Grange Hall. I was welcomed by Chris who helped me (a novice backer-upper) back my 18’ travel trailer into the Pond View campsite. The two wooded campsites are newly constructed with new electrical hookups, water hookups, and picnic tables. Highly recommended for all those visiting the Columbia River Gorge, Portland, and the Menucha Retreat Center.

Great communication and friendly host. Site was exactly what I needed for a quick solo tent camping overnight retreat. It's a fairly intimate location that's closer to the owners' artist studio(?) building than I'd thought from the photos and is one of several residential properties nearby. They are right off a road that does have occasional traffic, so you will hear sounds of civilization from time to time, but mostly very quiet and feels private. Easy to access though and the wooded area adjacent to the camping/RV spot provides a good little bit of forest immersion with a few walking trails that will allow you take a chair and read a book within the trees. Nice star visibility at night as it gets plenty dark. Would definitely recommend for those looking for a quick and easy outdoor getaway!

We had some fun nearby outings including milkshakes at Alf’s, the Mason-Rivera sculpture garden, and Evergreen Wings and Waves water park. On site we enjoyed kayaking, exploring the cemetery, watching the beavers and turtle, and of course s’mores! Joel was a very gracious and generous host.

Green Crest is an active Memorial Park (cemetery) adjacent to Highway 18 between Portland and the Oregon coast on the South side of Sheridan. This property makes a great stop over while en route to your final destination, but is also a great getaway if you'd just like to relax in a natural setting while having conveniences near by. **if you have an rv that you are planning to back into the site, please enter via the 'exit' as it will allow better positioning to back in. otherwise use the drive marked entrance.** If you have young ones, the park next door has a playground and a stocked fish pond. We also have a pond on sight that is perfect for viewing birds, beaver and having morning coffee. You're also welcome to bring your kayak and or paddle boards to get out on the water for fishing or just floating the pond. There is the occasional Deer, coyote and raccoons all around on the property. Two minutes from your site, you will find 24 hour gas and diesel; Subway, Riverside Cafe, Bennie Huies Chinese and the local Grocery store. Did I say there is a Dairy Queen 5 minutes way? Nearby Ballston Road offers a great rural road system from which to explore by bicycle. Points of interest both out in the wild and more metro are all within an hour drive. Other's can join you with another RV by also booking "add-on RV". For day use visitors to your site, you can either add additional vehicles or purchase of one of my frozen chickens (in Extras). 2. Choose your preferred dates. 3. Pack up your RV for a relaxing getaway from the city! More about the property: - This is a regenerative farm, just starting. Last season I focused on chickens- alive (egg layers for your back yard flock) and dead (meat birds in the freezer and available for your camp dinner). Two cows roam the front pasture and my goal is to grow their numbers to be able to improve the soil health here at the farm.. -My tiny home is in the area of the sites, but far enough away to maintain privacy. Otherwise it is a private and secluded area. Because I live on site, I will not allow repeat visits if groups become rowdy or disrespectful. -There is ELECTRICITY and WATER on site. The electricity is through a standard household outlet so an adaptor will be necessary, and possibly an extension cord, depending on where you choose to set up. An outhouse with a compost TOILET and sink are available, but no shower. However, in winter months, the sink will be turned off to protect pipes. Water is still available from an in ground frost free spigot. -There is a FIREPIT for evening musing, don't forget your marshmallows. One of the highlights of our property is the magnificent Douglas Fir tree, which stands tall and proud at over 500 years old. Considered an ecological gem, this ancient tree is highly regarded by arborists in the area and adds to the natural beauty of your surroundings. We would love to share our beautiful wooded 8 acres. We live here but your site is far enough from our house for privacy. The RV pad is surrounded by trees. Our RV space will easily park a 38ft. RV. It has full hookups with either 30 amp or 50-amp power. You are only 2 miles from shopping and only miles from Lackamas Lake and Battleground Lake for hiking, swimming, biking, boating and fishing. Down the road about 1/4 mile is Velvet Acres barn where you can buy fresh produce in July, August and September, then in October it's a Pumpkin Patch. Be sure while you’re here you visit Vancouvers waterfront downtown. Great shops and excellent places to eat. On weekends there’s a large farmers market that has all kinds of fresh produce. While here be sure to drive out to the gorge, it is one of the more breathtaking sites in the NW. We are 10 miles from the Columbia River and 36 miles from Multnomah Falls. On a nice day you can drive to the beach to cool off, it's about 90 miles to Longbeach. Being in the wetlands we have a lot of trees for privacy. The RV area is at the end of an area that is gated for security. There is a grassy area outside your door and a grassy area out back of your RV. We have trails you are welcome to use. You will see bunnies and all kinds of birds as well as deer that visit now and then. Although they have built homes on the west side the fence and trees give plenty of privacy. They recently started a home that should be done within a month. Contact me for updates. This is a perfect place if visiting the area or it’s a great place for snowbirds or workers that are in this area for weeks or months. Text me ahead for openings. We do consider long term stays.
