Heritage Farms, located in the heart of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, is a 5th-generation, family-owned Christmas tree farm founded in 1848.
Camping began ten years ago. We offer six shelters and nine primitive tent sites. We are incredibly close to the various trails located across the Cuyahoga Valley.
THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK!
1.WE DO NOT ALLOW FIREWOOD to be brought onto Heritage Farms property due to the potential risk to our crops and according to State and Federal Regulations. Firewood bundles may be purchased when making your reservations or upon arrival at the farm.
2. No vehicles may be driven into the camping area at any time.
3. All vehicles must remain in the designated parking lots
4. Campers are responsible for carrying their gear to their campsites—we provide wheeled carts for your use.
5. Ohio Primitive Camping licensing does not allow wheeled camping on Heritage Farms property.
6. Due to Summit County Health regulations, we cannot provide water. Please bring your own drinking and washing water. Or you may purchase 1-gallon jugs of water when you reserve your site or upon arrival. Our restrooms are porta Johns.
7. Tent sites (labeled A-J) have space for up to 3 tents. Shelter sites (numbered 1-6) have room for up to 2 additional tents. All sites are limited to a maximum of 6 campers
8. Heritage Farms is a working Farm. Please be aware that tractors and other machinery are in use during daylight hours
9. Check-in time is from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. If you’re arriving after 7:00 p.m., please let us know. Checkout time is 10:00 a.m. Please use the dumpster for all trash. Gray water stations are available for the disposal of used water.
10. Only campers registered to HipCamp are permitted to overnight on Heritage Farms property. We do not allow parties and underage or excessive use of alcohol at any time.
11. DOG POLICY: We welcome dogs who have received prior permission from the farm owners. A dog registration form including proof of rabies vaccination must be filled out upon arrival. Unvaccinated dogs are not permitted on the property. All dogs MUST always be on a leash and in the physical control of their owner(s). No pets may be left unattended at any time.

Visiting the Hocking Hills ? No interest in crowded campgrounds ? you have found 75 acres mostly wooded with trails. Close to and easy access from US 33 There are 4 primitive and secluded campsites around the property for tent camping. I can transport you and your gear to the remote sites. ATV's and Horses are also welcome on the property. Firewood will be provided for free and in abundant amount. The site on top of the hill is a very secluded and mowed crest of hill surrounded by dogwood trees and the invasive Autumn Olive bushes, making this the most desirable site for getting full body sun, and shade when wanted in complete privacy. The site above the rxrwinery.com is a secluded, mowed clearing in the mature woods, making this a preferred site for privacy, shade and easy access to the winery. There are also 2 sites in the valley that allow you to be near your vehicle, one out in the open sun and near the driveway while the other is in the coolest spot on the property with a very nice rock formation to admire and secluded for privacy. While on my property, clothing is optional but respect for other campers is expected. Hiking the trails naked rarely encounters other people. Sunny Rest Skyview can accomodate an RV with no hookup, generator is allowed. This is a valley and may get soft after heavy rain. Please keep wheels near the lane if there's any question to the ground conditions and maneuvering your vehicle, please contact me. Apple product GPS will not get you to this location, use the pin on Google Maps.

The Peace Park is designed for bikers, hikers, dog walkers, and anyone traveling through to book a campsite, even if no one is available to meet and greet. Campers, once booked, may go to an available campsite and set up camp.
Dog-friendly, handicapped-accessible Porta-Jon with hand sanitizer, shared electricity for charging phones, pristine aquifer water, picnic tables, fire pits, fire-side benches, birds, butterflies, lightning bugs, wild turkeys, deer, and other wildlife are often seen.
Please note: We're located on a section of the Ohio-Erie Canal Scenic Byway, the Wheeling and Lake Erie Railroad, and at a 90-degree corner with a slight slope that causes trucks to downshift and brake. If you're a light sleeper, we recommend bringing earplugs! We now offer disposable, individually packaged earplugs in our Porta-Jon.

This comfy, rustic tiny house sits next to a beautiful pond. Watch the wild birds and animals through its large upcycled window, or sip your morning coffee on its sunny front porch. Booking includes a farm fresh breakfast (kindly let us know of any dietary restrictions in advance) and one load of firewood.

Deep in our property is our camping area. You'll have a wide open view of the stars, plus a large picnic area + fire ring all to yourself. There is a composting toilet right at the campsite, or you may use a (shared) standard half bath a short walk away. Most days you can park right at the campsite (unless we've had a lot of rain and the ground is soft). This means you can bring your pop-up camper, teardrop, or sprinter van and have a private camping experience. Add breakfast and let us do the cooking for you!
Blue Cabin:

Located just down the road from our farm, the Blue Cabin is a private, off-grid cabin on a heavily wooded lot. Enjoy lots of shade, and a space that often stays cool, even in the heat of summer. Amenities include a picnic table and fire ring (comes with one load of firewood), water via a Berkey filter, and a composting toilet.

15 acre BEAUTIFUL park with a 2 acre man made artesian spring water lake. We have the only high dive left in Ohio with 3 diving boards and slides. Bonfire pits horseshoe pits 3 outdoor pavilions, kids playground. The park was made in 1952 and it’s been creating memories threw multiple generations. A MUST SEE. This year we also rent out our party buss to camp in and have two tiny houses available

We were looking for a more private, wooded camp site than we could find at an actual campground and that is exactly what we found on Margie's land! We were able to enjoy the sounds of nature all around us while enjoying the kind of privacy you just don't find at your typical campground. The addition of the shower was a great touch and really was one of the other main reasons we chose this property to camp on. While we were there they even installed a brand new shower head and that was really fantastic as well! Thank you for opening your property up to us and other campers!

The field and grounds was beautiful. It felt magical to be there. Unfortunately there was a noisy group of people at the site directly down the slope who were up until early am but then quieted down. I would still recommend the campground with the hope that the rowdy group was the exception.

My wife & I absolutely loved this property! We were at site #4 (The tree park) The owners are very friendly and attentive. Immediately let us know our dogs could be off leash. They also let us know there was a flash flood warning even though we chose to ride the storm out haha we definitely will be back soon. Looking forward to fishing the lake next go around since we didn’t really opt into fishing in the rain! 10/10 for sure!!

Stayed in the A-Frame and it was great! Super close access to the parking lot, both a linen and plastic tarp for enclosing each end of the frame. The fire pit had a swing over grill top. They put the firewood I purchased under a tarp waiting for me for when I arrived, as well as some kindling sticks and a trash bag! It was overall thoughtful and provided a great experience. It was memorial day weekend, so the weather was nicer and we got away with just having a blow up mattress, sheets, and a blanket. I would 100% come here again!

The land had been or was near his family’s farmland, and you could tell he worked hard to improve it, and to make a comfortable experience for his guests. I enjoyed my best meal in days of driving, one of his farm raised grass fed burgers and bacon. I was also invited to join in a family outdoor fire which was a highlight of the experience. They do have a goat named Waffles who I was warned would let himself into my truck or camper, and as promised, he did, which was terrific. As an aside for folks like me who were more passing thru than staying- this spot was convenient to the interstate and had very good cell coverage. Highly recommend and if I ever pass thru this area again, I’d return. Thanks again, Andy.

Super clean and updated cabin! We stayed in cabin #112 nuthatch. Very comfortable and all the amenities were great. They have a dog waste station which was very convenient and helpful. Lots to do and very close to the hocking hills. The staff were very friendly and accommodating! Will be back, highly recommend!
