Palmerosa Campground is a quiet, family-owned campground in the Hocking Hills region of southeast Ohio, offering a peaceful place to relax while staying close to the area's most popular parks, caves, and hiking destinations. Our property offers RV sites, tent camping, and cabins with plenty of open space and a laid-back atmosphere. We are located about 8 miles from Old Man’s Cave and within an easy drive of Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, Rock House, Conkle’s Hollow, and the other major Hocking Hills attractions. Guests especially appreciate our clean, private shower rooms, peaceful setting, spacious campsites, fire rings, and friendly service. We also have a small campground store with firewood, ice, drinks, snacks, and basic camping supplies. Palmerosa is a great fit for couples, families, hikers, outdoor enthusiasts, and campers who want to enjoy Hocking Hills without staying in a crowded or overly commercial campground. The campground has traditionally welcomed horseback riders and remains horse-friendly, but horses are not required to stay here. Today, Palmerosa is focused on providing a comfortable camping experience for RV travelers, tent campers, cabin guests, and visitors simply looking for a quiet place to unwind. Spend your day exploring Hocking Hills, then return to Palmerosa to enjoy a campfire, the stars, and a peaceful evening in the country.

Picturesque Hocking Hills retreat
31 ft travel trailer
While we are not horsemen, my husband and I so enjoyed our stay at this remote and picturesque campground. The property reflects great pride and financial investment: nicely-appointed and immaculate bathroom facilities; well-spaced campsites; classy equine stalls; and accommodating service second to none. Highly recommended!
