We had a great time for the 2nd year at Andy’s farm. My daughter had a good time jumping in the pond this year and our friend the friendly goat Waffles came around to say hi. Great amount of room to walk the dogs and let them enjoy the grass and fresh air , very close to Cedar Point and the beaches as well as ferries to the islands.
Andrew’s Farm was perfect tent camping for us. He was communicative and friendly, and the property has a lot of beauty. The animals were great, we felt safe and had a good camp. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

Arrived very late on 2 cross country trips and was able to set up my tent and relax for the night. Great host. Andrew is very personable and quick to respond to messages. His goat that followed me around made my morning.

It was a great stay. Like Andy says you’re staying on a cattle farm. There are trains that go by they were nice to watch. It was overall quiet. I’d stay again for sure. I felt safe there

We really appreciated the host allowing us to celebrate the Fourth of July and safely set off our fireworks. Since this property only has two campsites, I reached out beforehand because the other site was already booked. The host reassured us that the other campers were good people and that we shouldn’t have any issues. We were very grateful since we had spent a lot of money on fireworks, drove about an hour to get there, and rented the site specifically for the evening.
Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by the campers at the neighboring site. Early in the evening, we could hear a woman screaming at the man she was with, including yelling about him wanting to go to another city to get high on drugs. We tried to ignore it, but the situation only escalated. They continued screaming at each other for hours, accusing one another of stealing money. At one point, the woman threw the man’s clothes and other belongings out of the tent and into the dirt while continuing to yell.
Because there are only two campsites, there was no way to get away from the disturbance. Later that night, the man ended up sleeping alone on the dock by the lake, which made the situation feel even more uncomfortable. We were thankful we had only rented the site for a few hours and hadn’t planned to camp overnight, because we would not have felt comfortable staying. This is not a reflection of the host, who was kind and accommodating.

I love a good farm stay and Andy’s place was great! Chose a spot by the pond and watched the swallows and egrets visit. The trains, cows and goat all added to the experience!

What a beautiful farm to get to camp at. Check in was easy and Andy is very friendly. Waffles the goat is so cute you have to say hi! This location is super close to Cedar point! Thank you Andy!
Andy was a great host. The site is easy to access just make sure to look for the red barn. Google Maps took me down the road a few driveways. It’s quiet and peaceful. There is a pond and a very friendly goat.
Andy was an absolute delight! Super chill and the camp spot was perfect for my needs.
Had a fire going when I pulled in late that night and even offered me good conversation and a beverage. I highly recommend Kromer farms and if I go back to bike week next year I’ll book again!!

The most striking feature of this site was how quiet it was, even with the (very slow-moving) trains going by often (1/4 mile away). Such a relief after so many busy, noisy park and private campgrounds. I didn’t mind the host not greeting me— I was prepared by his messages to help myself. Andrew respects your privacy, but is happy to engage too. I only stayed 1 night and got to chat with Andrew as I left. A very friendly guy, good with communications about my stay beforehand. One thing distressed me a little— the friendly goat wanted to taste-test my door mat, among some other things. I felt I had to keep an eye out for her shenanigans. But her curiosity seemed satisfied eventually. Be sure to use Andrew’s published ADDRESS, rather than google the farm’s name, to arrive at the correct driveway.
Photos are accurate. It’s spacious and peaceful. Andy is a delight! He’s friendly and hospitable. Just watch out for Waffles the Goat! He will try to climb into your tent or your Fiat!

Quiet, pretty small farm with very generous and friendly owner with his two small and very polite & charming kids. The land had been or was near his family’s farmland, and you could tell he worked hard to improve it, and to make a comfortable experience for his guests. I enjoyed my best meal in days of driving, one of his farm raised grass fed burgers and bacon. I was also invited to join in a family outdoor fire which was a highlight of the experience. They do have a goat named Waffles who I was warned would let himself into my truck or camper, and as promised, he did, which was terrific. As an aside for folks like me who were more passing thru than staying- this spot was convenient to the interstate and had very good cell coverage. Highly recommend and if I ever pass thru this area again, I’d return. Thanks again, Andy.

Great easy to find option close to 80. Plenty of camping spots and you get to pet Waffles the free roaming goat!! Andrew is a responsive host and I hope to stop here again!

A beautiful farm, very peaceful and quiet. We had a wonderful time!
I really enjoyed the privacy of the spot and the fact that a portapotty was onsite was an added bonus. Andrew is a really cool host. He was very responsive to my messages, as I booked last minute. Gave me my choice of spots on the farm. Spent a couple nights enjoying the big night sky by the pond. Another hipcamp winner!

We had a great experience camping here. We were in town to visit Cedar point, which was about 15 minutes away. Location was easy to find, host was very nice, and we would certainly camp here again.

Very accommodating and helpful to my daughter. Great location
We arrived after dark and it was easy to find the place and set up camp. There were no mosquitoes or flies even though we were close to the cattle barn. The ground was flat. There was some train noise but not enough to interfere with sleeping. In the morning, we had a great conversation with Andrew, who was very friendly and open. We definitely recommend his HipCamp.

Great host and nice spot. Close to. town and easy to access. Mostly quiet, though the freight train will go by twice a day sometimes early in the morning or late at night.
Also, if you have a bigger camper, make sure to arrive from the north only! When coming from the south, there is a really low bridge (13') to go under with a sharp left hand turn immediately after. Bigger RV's will not be able to go through there.
