In the Blue Ridge Mountains, a place where you can enjoy a beautiful comfortable camper where the doors open right onto a gorgeous deck that looks directly onto the New River. Hurricane Helene replaced grass for sand. You will be able to swim, fish, kayak, and go boating right off of our property, start a fire at night or just swing on the deck. We are a 5 minute drive from the New River Trail State Park, where you can hike, bike or walk along the river!
We provide you with linen, bath towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, pots/pans, condiments, and coffee. We have a griddle and a BBQ grill.

My daughter and I own this 35 acre secluded piece of heaven just minutes from Winston-Salem, Hanging Rock State Park, and other attractions. We are pet friendly (if your pet does not play well with our dogs or horses, please leave them on a leash or at home). Our Shire horses are endangered and very BIG! We hope you have time to say hello to the horses during your visit.
NOTE: we do NOT provide electric at the campsite; you are allowed to use a generator.
NOTE: please remember to bring garbage bags for all of your trash. All trash must be bagged and deposited into the provided garbage bin.

We accidentally went past the campground (it’s well marked and the location pin was perfect) but were treated with seeing deer cross the creek so that was a bonus. It’s close to the road but at night there’s little to no traffic and we didn’t really hear much going by. Very peaceful and it sounds like it’s going to have some nice additions in the future.

I wish we could’ve stayed longer! We were running behind schedule and arrived after dark, then had to leave before sunrise, so we didn’t get to take in the views. But the signs and string lights guiding us into the campground were such a welcoming sight after a long day on the road and pulling in so late. We’ll definitely be back to enjoy the campground properly!

Lois and Mike's spot was just as described!!!! The view is gorgeous! We couldn't believe how big the spot was, and we had it all to ourselves!
