Wonderful host
I really loved my stay at John's! He was a incredibly hospitable. I got to enjoy a morning of visiting the farm animals and feeding them, and got to pick my own eggs! John made me feel so welcome on his land, keeping me stocked up on wood and water without me even having to ask. He even shared his favorite beer with me, and left me with some delicious greens and berries for my travels. I look forward to visiting again in the future!

John was a great host! He helped us get settled and checked in during our stay. The land was beautiful and we enjoyed seeing the stars at night. Our granddaughter especially enjoyed feeding the donkeys and riding on the tractor. She was able to gather eggs for our breakfast too. The location was perfect for exploring Pilot Mountain and the surrounding area!

Great experience
We had a wonderful time staying on John's working farm. Beautiful location overlooking Pilot Mountain. John delivered wood and let our granddaughter feed all of the animals, drive the tractor and get fresh eggs for breakfast. . Tons of animals to see. Chickens, cows, donkeys, turkeys, pigs and more. Would highly recommend.

Great Camping Experience
Really nice stay! The amazing owner showed us around the farm and let us feed the lovely animals. You can see pilot mountain top and a lot of starts at night! Bathroom is compost toilet and primitive shower.

Base camping experience ever. The site is private, clean, and well maintained. Our host John is very courteous and invited us to tour the farm in the morning.

Super great stay! We fed the animals, got a tour of the farm, and even were sent home with some veg from the garden. Highly recommend this spot!
